This is a great place. They are fixing it up and making it even better. All the new things they are doing is very nice. I wish it was gated community. Also I wish they could stop all the people from letting there dogs poop every place and not pick it up. But that will never happen. But all the people around here are very friendly and that helps.
I would love to say everything has been great however, it’s been non stop issue after issue…nice community, quiet and peaceful but, management or the owner is very obviously trying to save each and every penny with the way they “fix” issues such as only having one working coax outlet for the internet after being without WiFi for a month, paint peeling in the tubs, having to run the dryer 5-10 times to dry our clothes even after being swapped with another used dryer. Doors falling off the hinges, etc. I wish there was more care for the tenants safety and well being.

Think about what you want before moving here. If you just need a place to live and can fix things yourself, this may work. But if you’re busy and want reliable upkeep, I wouldn’t recommend it. The property owners seem to prioritize cosmetic upgrades to the front of the property over addressing issues that would genuinely improve residents quality of life. Maintenance is inconsistent, the head staff member isn’t fluent in English. The apartments are not energy efficient; our 3-bedroom averages $300 in summer electric bills. Amenities are poorly maintained—the fire pits rarely work, only the main pool is maintained until you complain that the others aren’t getting taken care of, the gym equipment is outdated and squeaks, and the grills have ants. Pest control is unreliable and often marks visits complete without showing up, so I handle it myself. Overall, the complex invests more in appearances than in providing comfortable, well-maintained living conditions.

Living here is really nice and well kept. Maintenance crew are also nice, helpful, and quick to repair. Paying rent and making service requests are very easy to do online, offering convenience. I've never had a bug problem and rarely see them even outside. Would recommend living here :)

The staff is excellent, the only complaint I really have is the noise control & the trash fills up very fast so it's almost always overflowing.

We highly recommend Genoa Lakes to anyone searching for an exceptional place to live. If you want a comfortable place for just yourself or if you are a couple or a family with children Genoa Lakes has something for everyone. My Soulmate and I thoroughly enjoy having someone else 'on-board' to keep our beautiful grounds manicured, the buildings, inside and outside operating like a five-star resort in Scottsdale. We love seeing the families having so much fun at the pool and picnic area. It's 'vacation time' here. Plus, the management team is like family always hosting complimentary BBQ's, fresh 'Farmers Markets', coffee and doughnuts, Holiday parties and lots of fun and memorable events. NEVER had I had an apartment I was living in make life SO EASY!! The ONLY thing I can TRY to complain about would be a MINOR parking spot instance. But with that effort to complain aside, this place COMMUNICATES with residents and has REALISTIC expectations and standards!! Kind, caring, patient, understanding, all around PHENOMENAL STAFF!! I've already referred 10 people and would encourage ANYONE who's looking to come by GREAT PLACE!!!!

From the moment I stepped into the leasing office I could feel like Genoa Lakes would be my home. Debbie was amazing giving me a tour and telling me about the property. All of my questions were answered along the way. Great communication via phone call and email, nothing was missed. I felt fully supported! Beautiful and scenic property with the lakes, pools, and all amenities. Love the 24 hour access to the pools and fitness center.

Moved in and it was smooth. Had a small Issue and maintenance was up Quickly. They were very easy and lease signing was quick. The apt was very clean.

It's very pleasant and comfortable to live in Genoa. It feels like a very safe place, and the areas are very clean. The pools and gym are truly enjoyable.

We love the complex and the vast amenities offered. Staff is always friendly and helpful. The only 2 drawbacks are lack of more uncovered parking. Even if one guest is visiting, they may, depending on time of day, have to park very far even street side to visit. And second, having to pay extra utility cost on top of paying our own apartment utilities. Other than that, and of course the ever-rising cost in rent wherever you go, the property is quite nice.

It has been great living here at Genoa Lakes. My family and I have been enjoying the quietness and beauty of walking around the lake area. The staff here at Genoa Lakes are one of a kind and always on top of urgent requests. Our apartment is nice and updated. Been here almost 2 years never had any complaints. Maintenance is fast and reliable. I love the word burning fireplace during the winter and the nice pools in the summer. The neighborhood is really quiet as well.

I really love the location of the complex and particularly of my unit. It backs up to the duck pond and across from the green belt area. The neighbors are all very nice as well. I think some of the appliances could use an upgrade but overall it’s been pretty great. Just re-signed another year lease.

One of the nicest resident i lived in in Mesa The maintenance team is super cooperative.love the Amenities specially the grilling area. The pool area is super comfortable to use,live the seating arrangement around the pool. Having a lake with ducks around is a big plus to the property

Really nice community. Downside, maintenance could improve by a lot. I’ve called maintenance for issues around the house but seems like they only focus on the easier stuff and just close out the bigger issues without resolving anything. Multiple work orders were made in the past but still same result, just close out and no update from their team.

Staff is very friendly. Neighbors are welcoming. Some don’t pick up after their pets but other than that nothing ever happens in the complex as far as anything bad.

The amenities are nice, maintenance and staff are friendly and efficient. Although I did have a lot of things breaking in my apartment whether it be the ac unit, washer, drawers but maintenance is pretty quick to repair things. Overall is a solid place to live other than things constantly needing replaced or repaired.
