Developed with the help of some of Atlanta’s wealthiest families, Druid Hills has become one of the most famous neighborhoods in Atlanta thanks to its impressive homes. The neighborhood was home to nearly all members of the Candler family (of Coca-Cola fame) at one time, making it a popular locale for Atlanta’s elite.
Druid Hills isn’t all imposing luxuriousness. The area is centered on Emory University, whose large student population brings an energetic feel to the stately neighborhood. There are plenty of apartment communities housing students and professionals alike, all just a short distance from the charming restaurants, shops, and venues on campus.
Other popular areas like Virginia-Highlands and Little Five Points are just a short drive away. If you don’t have a car, however, there’s MARTA service to and from the Emory area.

Property Ratings at Emory Point
Absolutely horrible experience. Emory point gave my daughter and her room mate an apartment with a leaky roof that they have not been able to fix despite multiple attempts at fixing it. Every single time, the leasing office and maintenance staff has had a bad attitude about helping these girls, have not done their job right. Finally I called to speak to them and the response was rude. My daughter has lived with mold in the bathroom for an entire year now. The staff has finally fixed the apartment but there is sawdust and mold treatment chemicals all over. When I call to speak with the management, they find excuses to not respond. The girls need to be given a new apartment or their money back in full with compensation for this nuisance. Emory University needs to have oversight regarding how their students are housed and the living conditions of these apartments
They will claim you made "damages" to the rooms after your moving out and charge you an amount almost equal to or even more than your deposit. If you try to contact them, neither a respond or a proof (photo showing "damage") will be received.
Property Manager at Emory Point, Responded To This Review
We're sorry to hear about your experience with the move-out process at Emory Point. We strive for transparency and clear communication with all residents, especially when it comes to charges related to the apartment condition. We would like to discuss your concerns further to better understand your situation. Please reach out to us directly at cdemorypoint@liverangewater.com or 404-633-4542. Thank you, Emory Point.
Where to even start. It is true that an Emory Point has an excellent location. That is undeniable. But everything else is terrible. The management Where to even start. It is true that a Emory Point has an excellent location. That is undeniable. But everything else is terrible. The management is not only ineffectual, but extremely rude. Anytime you talk to them they have a massive attitude problem. There are roaches. They do not clean common areas. They do not respond to maintenance requests at all unless you harass them, in which case they get very rude and disrespectful. Power routinely goes out. They just do a generally poor job of managing what could be a good building.
Our fire alarm/the building’s fire alarms have been going off at random times for weeks. The apartments should be listed as half the rent they are now: they are nice, but the rental price is not at all proportional to the state of the apartments. Emory Point constantly takes advantage of their residents.
Nice apartments close to Emory and CHOA. Guest parking is a nightmare though. At best, they park in the 7th floor of the garage on the opposite side of the complex. However, it often doesn’t work well which they just blame on the company that manages the parking. Your guests will hate parking here.
Roaches everywhere, and there’s a truck that comes at least once a semester at 6 am and makes 90 decibels of noise for a good hour.
I live in this apartment with my family of three, including my two year old. The residents of Emory Point are mostly younger and you don't see many children, but there is a healthy vibrancy in the surrounding area.
The apartment is beautiful and very cozy. Also, the amenities are very cool. The only problem I have is the noise. Occasionally, there are very noisy people outside late at night that wake me up from my sleep. I think there is opportunity to improve noise control.
Overall the experience is great. The facilities and equipments are very fancy. Staff is very friendly. Will probably recommend my friends if any of them is looking for a place to live.
Very peaceful spot; a nice place to get my work done.
I have not had air conditioning that is reliable for 3 years
Emory Point is a very well maintained complex, convenient to Emory university hospital and school.
We lived at Point under Gables's management. This community has completely gone downhill since Greystar took over.
I love this community so far, BUT the noise from Dance 101 is super loud everyday and nobody do anything about it!!!
Management sucks. They say they will do something and they won't do it. For example: 1) I asked if the lawnmowers could be moved later than 8am on Tuesday mornings, they said they would change it to later and never did. 2) My package got stolen (I have video evidence) and the Management team said they would not blast an email to residents to be more cautious (where are their ethics)?? 3) I have placed multiple work orders for an AC unit not working and my lightbulbs dying out that they would replace, and the workers NEVER came.
A bit pricey, but it is quite an upscale living condition.
Honestly the best place to live. Ive got absolutely no complaints! Its safe, its clean, Leasing staffs amazing and Maintenance team is excellent! I will definitely recommend as this is truthfully the best place Ive resided so far in Atlanta!
1. Management is terrible! The lack of communication is unreal. You get community emails emphasizing “we will update you” and no update comes! Try to email back, you won’t ever get a response. 2. The parking garage gate has been broken the entire year I’ve been here and beyond that time so yes, anyone can go up there and park for free while you pay a whopping monthly parking fee. 3. The furnished apartment mattress is like sleeping on a plain box spring. Don’t try to buy new furniture because they will not take anything out of the unit for you because they supposedly don’t have storage space. 4. Call boxes constantly out of service. 5. Walls are paper thin to the point where you can hear your neighbor walking around. 6. Calls are never answered at the leasing office and when you go visit it’s like you are disturbing them from their shift long break. All in all, the only aspect of this community that deserves stars is the maintenance crew. Definitely won’t be signing another lease even if it means paying double elsewhere.
Very disappointed with the maintenance of the apartment and pest control of common areas. I would hope that living in a luxury apt, cleanliness would be important to management.
Emory Points management is rude and unhelpful. Their dirty pools attracts roaches and other nasty bugs.
I love living at Emory Point. The staff is amazing and always helpful. Maintenance is quick to respond to my work order request. Overall 10/10
I have really enjoyed living in this community. The management team is amazing. Although the restaurants nearby arent open, I luv that food trucks have been provided for us. I would love to see more of them at least once a week.
Nice apartment. Hard to reach management team. Issues with bill never was resolved.
Great property and staff is always helpful. Highly recommend living here.
Very convenient, safe and secure place to stay, with service requests, if any, answered immediately and to one's satisfaction with courtesy and professionalism.
I moved in from out of state. Moving to Emory Point has exceeded all of my expectations. The staff was incredibly helpful with my transition over to GA. I absolutely love my apartment! I have an amazing view of downtown; which is beautiful at night.
My experience at this property is wonderful the staff is great and very helpful on any problems i have would highly recommend anyone to live at this property
Emory point is luxurious living and I made an excellent choice to live here. I really like it here, amenities and services are very good, absolutely happy with maintenance staff and the leasing assistant manager who handled my apartment issues. Place is clean and well-maintained, its efficiently managed. Absolutely love my apartment and happy to call it my new home!
I did not visit Emory Point before signing my lease online. I was looking for a place and within a week or so I was able to sign a lease. It was very smooth, and I have grown to love where I am living. The location and complex are super ideal for me. I was very nervous coming in not having seen the area but was exceptionally surprised in a great way. The apartment itself is perfect for one person and reasonable for the price I am paying.
Emory Point has been a great experience and I've loved living there!
I really enjoy the conveniences and beauty of living at Emory Point. My leasing agent was amazing.
It is a good place and a nice experience to live here.
The leasing office needs to be better. The people there are so rude, and they dont get things done quickly.
I love the facilities in which it is always readily available to me, and the feeling of overall security livin gin this apartment.
