Overall our experience renting at Fusion has been disappointing. We toured the property on 8 August of 2024 while the building was under construction with a forecasted completion date of September 2024. We planned for a November 1 move in date and arrived after a cross-country move surprised to find a building still heavily under construction. Our first few nights in the home we had intermittent power and no hot or running water. After 3 months, the apartment community is again without water for the day as plumbers further refine the system and install another pump. The elevators are still undergoing service and continually experience sudden arrestments, terrorizing residents and pets alike. For the first two months the entry fob key system was not set up, leaving residents to prop open doors, compromising building security. Many of the amenities are still under construction or not fully open for use. It is abundantly clear that residents were moved in far before the community was truly ready for habitation. Six months after welcoming in the first residents, the package room is still unusable and residents are required to go to the leasing office to retrieve their mail; a poor solution for those with work schedules that extend long past the office hours. Within our own apartment, I noted unfinished paint, a gouge in the flooring, cracks in the tub, and cabinetry that was missing finishing or scratched/dented during install on our move-in intake, and it never received a response. For all the advertising suggesting a 'luxury' apartment, Fusion has a long way to go. All of these complaints are relatively minor, but when compounded and compared against the price point make the value of the unit seem well overpriced. While the leasing office is as helpful as they can be, there is no clear communication on when the construction will finally be complete. I believe that they are doing the best with the limited information they are receiving, and the true blame lies with the larger SL Nusbaum management company and whomever contracted the construction company.

Great location but the incomplete construction is frustrating. They've overcome the problems with electricity and hot water from the first couple of weeks but the "luxury" building is a mess. The garage is full of construction debris and all the hallways are marked up for painting touch ups and have holes in the ceiling waiting for access panels to be installed. The dog park is just a fenced area of astroturf with no place to deposit pet waste; the area around it is torn up for some sort of landscaping. The elevators and trash chute go in and out of service. The outer doors now work with the provided fob but the owners decided to erect the flood control barriers over a weekend sealing off the main entrance without prior notice. The gym and art room are the only open amenities. The roof deck looks close to finished. The club room and pool/outdoor terrace look finished but have signs saying they are closed and the pool table doesn't have any pool balls. The mailroom and package locker system are still not functional requiring visits to the office during business hours to retrieve mail and USPS has expressed frustrations with their ability to provide service to the building. Inside our unit the construction quality is fair to poor with many dings, some crooked cabinets, poorly painted trim, paint drops on carpet, and badly installed tile and grout. The folks who work on site are helpful with issues but can't yet overcome either the builder or management company's failures. Not worth the high rent at this point.

Prime location and great amenities, BUT they are not ready for residents. It should not have been open for move in’s yet, but here we are. Several residents requesting to move out after only a few months. Construction is still heavily impacting daily lives of residents. Frequent issues with hot water, electricity, elevators. Management can be very helpful if you reach out, but isn’t great at communicating.

Highly not recommended. Brand new building, very nice, however, the application process is sloppy. I applied on a paper application (how ancient) and was told there was a $250 fee to reserve the unit. After having an initial move in date of July 1, I was told after I had to reach out for another concern, that the date was pushed back to July 15. I wasn’t notified of that until I contacted leasing. I made the decision to move back the date to August 1 to ensure construction delays would be over. I was told i’d have to fill out another official application a few weeks before my move in date. So technically the $250 is a holding fee, not a processed application. They’re holding my money while waiting for construction. I have not signed a lease or have had any verification done on my behalf. It’s a bit confusing when speaking with the leasing team. They’re so focused on leasing the units up, instead of having the proper system in place for applicants to apply to. What would’ve happened if leasing lost my paper application? Totally unacceptable. I chose to not move to the community and I’m being refused a refund.
