We were in a bit of a pickle while trying g to secure housing after our previous place fell through. The staff at Fox and hounds were understanding and helped to get us into a place that day. In the beginning it okay even for a small space but rent goes up every year and for what? Another new ammenity? No. They will quote a base price then add gas water and trash to make it oulandsish to live in such a small place. Alll the mgt will say is hey we are just doing our jobs….no wonder in 2018 they waived everything and paid $500 to help move in. We were suckered in

I was SO excited to move in here and had such hope for the year ahead of me and i never ever leave bad reviews but this place is AWFUL. My washing machine didn’t work when i moved it (they got me a new one and it took awhile which was fine) then my dryer started to ruin my clothes and it took 6 months to fix it and many ruined items of clothes later and the issue is now BACK. Also my bathroom ceiling had a leak in it (fixed by just covering it up) Our toilets get backed up very easily as well as the washing machine will fill up with water if i don’t switch the laundry out in 15 minutes and leaves my clothes soaked so i ring them out in the bathtub. My living room window now is leaking from the roof and got my computer soaked. I love the staff and they are kind but this apartment itself is falling apart and maintenance can’t keep up with it. I feel so bad leaving this review but i don’t want anyone else to walk in here with high hopes and be disappointed greatly like i was. I’m 19 yrs old and am proud to be living on my own but this place has just about ruined the experience for me and i will probably have to move back in with my parents.

Fox and Hounds is great to live in if you are rich, young, and don't know any better. Their prices are ridiculous. The apartments are poorly renovated, landlord special to the max. The office staff has a high turnover rate. Cars in the parking lot are regularly broken into. Get private renter's insurance. Good luck, not much else is out there.

After our first year at Fox and Hound, we are renewing for another year and I can confidently say they have exceeded our expectations. This apartment complex truly caters to residents' needs with its exceptional amenities and welcoming atmosphere. First and foremost, the presence of both an indoor and brand new outdoor dog park was a game-changer for my small four-legged children. It provided a safe and enjoyable space for our daily walks and playtime, fostering a strong sense of community among pet owners. The on-site gym was a true standout, offering a well-equipped space to maintain a healthy and active lifestyle. The game room was another fantastic feature that we could often invite our friends over and have a great time. They offer the ability to reserve the rooms for extra privacy amongst friend groups. The well-designed and comfortable game room offered a perfect setting for socializing with neighbors and friends. The common area of the apartment complex was pretty impressive. It provided a spacious and beautifully furnished environment where residents could gather, relax, and enjoy quality time with other. Equipped with plenty of seating areas, two super nice TV's and lots of board games, it was an excellent space to host events, meet new people, or simply unwind after a long day. Furthermore, the management and staff at Fox and Hound are incredibly friendly, responsive, and always willing to go the extra mile to ensure resident satisfaction. Maintenance requests were promptly addressed, creating a hassle-free living experience. I highly recommend Fox and Hound apartments to anyone seeking a comfortable and vibrant living environment.

5/31/2023 My advice… look elsewhere. I had my car stolen here and know of other residents who had their cars stolen too. Zero security and no mention of it to other residents. In the summer time, people come and play basketball and hang out at the pool till 12:30 AM… so at least try to stay away from that section of the apartments… lot of stress and price doesn’t justify. You’ve been warned.

As I’m sure you are aware, this has been a city-wide issue affecting residential neighborhoods, multifamily housing communities, and condominiums. We want you to know that we have taken feedback from residents, like yourselves, to heart and have hired a professional security team to patrol the grounds and work alongside Columbus police. We believe this is helping to mitigate or prevent issues like those you experienced. We hope to earn a better rating from you in the future and want you to reach out to us in person should you have any suggestions or concerns.
On my first month here I was 3 days late paying rent due to difficulty with the autopay setup. I paid late at night on the 3rd day but received a notice on my door telling me to leave my apartment. I was shocked that I hadn't received any prior warning or notice and was immediately being told to leave. I asked the management office about this and was told that there weren't any problems. It may have been settled but it still left a bad taste in my mouth. I will not likely be renewing my lease regardless of the offer.

Hi Dexter & thank you for your feedback! As you know, your lease states that rent is due on the 1st, and late fees start on the 5th. On our end, it shows that you made the payment on the 8th. The notice that we send to those who have not paid on or around the 6th (company policy), is a letter that is the legally required late notice. We do not have a choice in the verbiage, though we agree it is very strongly worded. This same letter/verbiage is used across the board in this industry. Should legal action be necessary, those state-required documents (written by attorneys) must have been served to follow proper eviction procedures. I hope this better explains the nature of the letter and that you know it wasn’t because the office was trying to upset you. Thank you for the opportunity to explain this and for being a valued resident.

I've been at these apartments for about a year and 3 months and every time it rains a lot, the gutter on the left side of our apartment causes flooding in our apartment. My husband and I discovered black mold a few months ago and attempted to contact the office with no luck. We were able to kill the mold ourselves with vinegar and that solved the issue, but we are still continuing to have the same flooding problems. Today with it raining all day, again the carpet in our bedroom is soaking wet from the water seeping through the foundation. The water has also caused flooding in the bathroom at times. Our air conditioning has also not been working for a couple months and when I called I was told that it won't turn on in colder weather, but on hot days, it also does not work. When my husband and I cook, the apartment usually gets to 80 degrees with no way to turn on the A/C. I submitted a work order in August 2022 and the status says complete but nothing was done.

Thank you for the feedback- we're always happy to help! I have researched the work order history for your account and see that you put in a work order on Saturday for this issue and as of today, Monday morning, our maintenance team has already remedied your gutter issue. Going further back, I see that you have requested maintenance for other items but have never mentioned this particular issue. I will follow this response up with a phone call to discuss this further. With regards to your air conditioner, we don't have many requests for an AC during the winter months, but air conditioners cannot operate properly when the ambient air temp outside is below 70 degrees. Further, in order to repair an AC a diagnosis would need to be made. In this case, the same thing applies. By this I mean that the readings would be off (due to the lack of pressure) caused directly by the cold outside air. Our office is open 7 days per week, and we have a call center who is trained in inputting work orders as well as connecting you with an emergency maintenance technician outside of office hours, should you need immediate attention. I am unsure how you were unable to reach us, but you can always reach us via email at FoxandHoundsApts@beztak.com as a last resort. Going forward, if you can direct any and all maintenance requests to a member of our team and provide us with adequate time to remedy it, I assure you that we are up to the task. We have lived here for almost 6 years and we are quite happy here. It's quiet and not really any issues. Maintenance is always on top of things. The office staff do everything they can for us when there's an issue. A bit high priced for 960 square feet; however we do have a washer and dryer included.

Fox & Hounds has been nothing but great for the last two years my partner and I have been living here. Any time maintenance is needed they make a point of getting to you that day or the next. This is our third apartment, and I can honestly say that we will not be moving any time soon.

This has truly been one of the best apartments I’ve ever stayed in and I’m sad to be leaving. I have nothing bad to say, because my stay has been phenomenal. Maintenance is great! The staff is incredible! My honest opinion, it’s unfortunate that the price going up is my reason for leaving, but that’s just the economy right now. I appreciate all that they have done to make our stay, the best that it could be!!

We have loved our time so far at Fox and Hounds, The rent is reasonably priced for the area and it's usually a very quiet neighborhood. The appliances in our apartment are really nice and I love the renovated kitchen.

Dog friendly with a fenced area that is technically a dog park, despite the loose gravel, broken benches, and nonfunctioning lamp posts. Rent is far too high for the quality of living.

Fox and Hounds has been a wonderful community for my fiancée and I. They are extremely dog friendly, and even have a dog park and dog waste bags located around the apartment complex in the greenery areas. Our apartment has all stainless steel appliances and comes with a washer and dryer. The move in process was extremely smooth and we had no issues. Our apartment is in great condition and was spotless when we moved in. The management at Fox and Hounds are very helpful and always respond to emails and phone calls in a timely manner. The area that Fox and Hounds is located in is very safe and close to the highway, stores, and OSU campus. It is also very quiet here, which is a plus. Fox and Hounds is a great community and I would recommend it to anyone in search of an apartment.

We got a great price for a 2 bedroom, and I miss the bark park dearly. Appliances were new and worked great, and there is a lot of green space to walk around the complex. It's also very close to OSU with a lot of other students in the area but much less congested than by campus.

This was the worst rental experience I have ever had. Within the duration my lease we had ant infestations, water leakages from the ceiling and windows, gas leaks, a circuit blow (causing us to loose power and vacate), reoccurring issues with the power turning off, and horrible management. I am sure there is much more that I am forgetting but this is just off the top of my head. The only positive thing I have to say about the Fox and Hounds is their friendly maintenance staff. The building had endless issues and the management was terrible.

We had an excellent experience and then ran into a few issues that were resolved immediately. Jen and the new office staff have done excellent and we appreciate it greatly. We just renewed our 3rd lease and plan to be around for a bit; I don't like dumpster divers coming into the complex at all hours. We love it here. No place is PERFECT, but this is as close and I believe we are going to find it in the Columbus area. Thank you Jen and Staff for rocking it out

Our first week at Fox & Hounds has been nothing but great. One or two minor issues were taken care of almost immediately upon requesting help. Our neighbors are an absolute dream and we look forward to our first summer in our new apartment.

We recently moved here. So far so good. Thank you John (leasing manager) for your kind patience. I like these apartments because of newly renovated, easily access to my work place (OSU) and grocery markets. Maintenance people respond immediately. No hidden charges. In overall, I would recommend for the people who wanna lead a peaceful life.
