Welcome to Denton, Texas, where historic architecture meets college-town energy. Located within the Dallas-Fort Worth metroplex, this city of approximately 140,000 residents is home to the University of North Texas and Texas Woman's University. The historic downtown square, centered around the restored Denton County Courthouse-on-the-Square, features independent shops, restaurants, and music venues that have established Denton as one of Texas's most celebrated music destinations. Current rental trends show moderate prices, with average one-bedroom apartments going for $1,217, though rates have seen a slight decrease of 2.6% over the past year.
Denton's neighborhoods range from established communities near Golden Triangle Mall to historic districts near the universities. The city features numerous parks and green spaces, including Shiloh Field Community Garden, which spans 14.5 acres.

The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

Property Ratings at Forum Denton
Would give 0 stars if I could. AVOID THIS PLACE. I moved out 6 months ago and I got a notice from a debt collector saying I owe money. I call the Forum and they say it's for damages to my counter top (which I wrote in my inventory check) and they said they no longer have my inventory check, convenient huh? But lucky for me, I saved a copy of it before I turned it in so I have proof of my inventory check. Scum bag management to say the least. Also while living there, I was getting outrageous utility bills. They give you a $30 cap but my electricity WITH the cap was coming out to $60 or so which makes ZERO sense for a 1 bedroom apartment. I currently live in a 1 bedroom elsewhere with NO cap and my bill is around $40. So explain that. Do yourself a favor and avoid this scum bag management at the Forum.
This place is soo expensive and you don't even get what you pay for. So much drugs and gun shootings happen in this complex and parking is so limited. It's not worth the amount you pay for and you could get better elsewhere. I advise you to not waste your money on this complex like I did. The staff is incompetent and just rude.
If you want to be over charged on rent, utilities, and fees for anything then live here. I can't explain enough how much I HATED living here, especially when it came time to pay rent and seeing the utilities bill come. The utilities would always end up to be over $30 each time regardless of how much you tried to conserve energy. The staff is horrible and are not empathetic at all. They are now trying to redo the exterior of the apartment to lure in people to live there. I probably spent an extra $500 on utilities when it should be covered in rent. They used to have a FB page for residents but it was closed down because of the change of management and the amount of complaints they had on there. Don't live there at all. Also if you don't mind a lot of drugs flowing in and out of the complex, and gang shootings then it's for you. I hated living here and I regret paying as much as I did.
I just recently moved into The Forum which is a student living apartment complex. The apartment includes furniture, Internet, cable, electricity, water, and basically anything else you could ever need. They have a basketball court, a gym, three volleyball courts, a swimming pool, and a huge hot tub. I don't feel like a college student living here, I feel like a queen!
This location is super close to the UNT campus, which is super nice. The rooms are very spacious, as is the living area and kitchen. The walk-in closets are my favorite part about this apartment, but the kitchen is a close second. The pool and community center is very nice and up to date. This is a nice transition from the dorms!
This is a great apartment. Easy access to North Texas.
