Wonderful apartments to live in. However, if there is any amount of snow, they do not plow the parking lots and you will be stuck in your apartment basically until the snow melts enough to get your vehicle out. Also, these apartments are ridiculously expensive to live in.
The leadership under Matt and his maintenance staff has been phenomenal. My apartment flooded due to a dishwasher component failure and I was back to normal within a week.
The community is in a great location and is in great condition. From what I was able to tell, it seemed like a place that cares about the look of the complex and the satisfaction of the people that call it home.
I would probably not recommend only because it is more so a "dog owners" community. Property is full of large dogs, tenants who do not clean up dog poop everywhere. The second reason I would not recommend is due to the thin walls/noise level pretty high. Some units have flooring instead of carpet. The flooring creaks, with every movement can be heard above/over you. Noisy corridors/tenants walking up/down stairs.
Love the attached garage. That was very important during the winter.
I have lived here a few years. Managed by efficient polite people. The apartments are nice.
The amount of rent is too much for the apartments not being updated.
We were referred here by friends who used to live in the complex, and I would recommend this place based on location and genera vibes. It's close to a lot of stuff and the community is very safe, quiet, and well maintained.
The apartment is one thing. I liked it. The people make or break it. Loud music at all hours of the night, trash being left outside the dumpster, poop piles, plumes of smoke from units underneath us constantly having to run an air cleaner to keep from getting lung issues, ambulances coming once a week to narcan resident overdoses, it just becomes a quality of life thing. The building was great and some of the staff was great and the maintenance was great. But some negative things weighed it down eventually
The only thing that doesn't match what I was looking for is the washer and dryer; they're too small and below par based on the type of apartments herein at 4057. Please upgrade them. Gym is great and so is the swimming pool. The overall apt is good; no complaints beyond the suggestion of better washer/dryer. And the most beautiful thing; the leasing professional was so good, nice understanding and so open minded. Matt thank you for you nice flow of communication and ability to answer anything in a good way to me.
I would strongly recommend as I had a wonderful experience.
The maintenance department would be one of the main reasons to recommend.
I really like my apt. I've been here six years. I try to take care of my apt. so something not fixed totally is a little trying.
The internet connection is not strong and often cuts out. I understand the cables leading to the apartments are sub par so the service we receive is only goi g to be as good as the cables coming into the apartments.

It's a very nice community and I love the amenities. The application process was quick. After my carpet being shampooed a second time (I would've preferred new carpet), I am satisfied. I love the location of my apartment, it's quiet and I face the street and not the parking lot. All in all, I love my apartment. THANK YOU FOR MAKING ME FEEL WELCOMED!

Maintenance, Matt, and Natalie have always been very helpful and knowledgeable. Some of the other people that work the desk seem like they couldn't care less about your issues and often times do not follow through. I still like the place but it does make me avoid certain sales people.
Management and maintenance work hard to keep the property in good working order. The grounds are well maintained.
A little overpriced. Dog park is small. Issues with people above walking loudly and not much to prevent sound. Right off of man o war so when someone gets on the gas I can hear it in my apartment. Little counter space. Carpet is easy to clean. Has a stand in shower. Closet size. Convenient living room size. Nice amount of amenities
It is a nice place to live, competitively priced to the surrounding places but that' the problem. It' still expensive with paper thin walls

These apartments are very deceiving from the outside and pictures but totally different once you move in . My dishwasher hasn’t worked the whole time I’ve lived here and has mold coming out of it. There’s a huge bug problem all over the apartment , my freezer has stopped working on and off and melts anything in it , my washer stops frequently and just has clothes sitting in the water , neighbors are super loud and throw things from the roof onto your space. The rent price is ridiculous for a one bed and the fact that nothing works makes paying that a waste of money. You can find WAY better apartments somewhere else and for less money .

First apartment on my own and it’s the only place I looked at where I actually felt safe. everything from the leasing process to packages to maintenance requests have been so easy. Everyone is so nice and my parents have been telling everyone they knew about forty 57. They felt good about moving me in.
Don’t even try. They’ll give you a different price for apartments within hours of saying something much much lower. Prices are ridiculous for such a little space and then requiring a $75 internet and cable bill that they do not advertise is just beyond me.

I would recommend the 4057 apartments because it is reasonably priced. My two bedroom apartment is very spacious. The office staff and maintenance staff are very knowledgeable polite and courteous.
The monthly rate is slightly high for a single person, especially as you have no choice but to have a contract with Spectrum included in that monthly cost.
I've lived here for about 14 months and have loved my experience. The fitness center is the best I've seen in an apartment complex and the double pool is fantastic. My leasing friend Natalie is always there for any question/need or just for a friendly chat. Highly recommend!

I would recommend it to my friends and family because the staff in the leasing office are very friendly, make you feel welcome and professional.
I would recommend but would warn about how easily neighbors can be heard and noisey dogs of residents.
Have lived here 4 years. The amenities are decent and the office staff Natalie and Jaisa are awesome and super helpful!
Not a bad place to live. I have transitioned from home ownership to renting and this is the place to do it. Plus Natalie is a great person to work with.
I am a prior resident and had to relocate for work. I initially worked with Becky on finding an apartment and she was outstanding. So friendly, personable and she made the process a seamless transition for me. I am moving back to Forty57 in the near future and have been in contact with Becky. Once again, she has made the process so easy and fun. She’s very informative and thorough. She’s the reason I’m not looking anywhere else in Lexington.
