The property seems nice, clean, quiet and a great place to live. Malorie was extremely helpfully with all the questions we had about the community as well as Wilmington in general. Looking forward to making this our home.

Moved into my new apartment, along with the apartment being absolutely beautiful, the staff is amazing! Kind and polite, unfortunately as one hopes not to when moving six hours away, I managed to leave behind one of the papers required to move into my new apartment. The staff was beyond kind and understanding, giving me a grace period and let me move in rather than send me to drive six hours back home. All in all, 100/10!

The apartments are really nice and seems to be a great area…The agent (Malorie) did a great job showing us the different layouts and seemed to be quite knowledgeable about the area. Definitely on the short list!!! Thanks Malorie for all the help!

Robert & Tim are the best at what they do! Maintenance is always on top of things and they make it a pleasure living here knowing things are handled professionally & in a timely manner.

Forest Hills is a quiet and green community in a very bustling part of Wilmington. If you want a small town home feel in the middle of the city, FH couldn't be more perfect. Everything is conveniently close but you wouldn't know if you never left your home. My fur babies love our townhome and we can't wait to host friends and family in our new apartment home. I would like to particularly shout out Katrina and Malorie in the office. They have been absolutely wonderful since moving in. Within the first month, my husband and I had a key stolen and within just a couple of hours they had the locks changed and I was able to get the new keys after work. Even just stopping in, these two are so kind and happy to chat. The maintenance team is also funny and kind. They've truly made us feel welcome, safe and appreciated.

Just recently moved into this community. Every step from application, tour and move in was smooth and the environment is very calm and peaceful. The management is very courteous and handled the process seamlessly..

I just want to thank the management for the Residents Appreciation Dinner it was really good and thoughtful. Forest Hills Apartment is a nice quiet place to live.

Beware! Many many issues and the work done here is a joke. Gotta fight with office to get fair treatment.

Excellent townhomes. The office staff is superb! Move in was easy and a very pleasant experience. With the availability and ease of access of shopping, beaches and etc. this is the perfect location for us.

Forest Hills is a family friendly community with plenty of green space. The staff is attentive, kind, and courteous. This community is in an excellent location and a wonderful value.

Cozy neighborhood, convenient location, nice spacious floor plans, amazing office team always there to help, but because it's an old property, there always too much of work to do.

Don't move here. These apartments are in really bad shape underneath the updates. You will get flooding underneath your floors and your walls after sometime. The dishwasher and appliances don't work well. That's just the tip of the iceberg.

I love living in this community. When I sold my house in November after 14 years I had anxiety about renting again. I looked at many places in the area but nothing beat Forest Hills for space and price. I recently moved to a larger unit and I love it !!! I also love the office and maintenance staff. Always quick to resolve/fix any issues I have. I highly recommend this community.

My area is very quiet

It's a nice peaceful community with all the amenities you need. Location is excellent. It is near grocery stores, shopping malls, schools and churches.

Forest Hills makes sure YOU are happy with your HOME. This isn't about the office making money, they want to make sure you feel like home. They text and call when they say they will. Very responsive and helpful.

Over all the apartments are nice the staff is generally responsive and helpful. I had an issue and was able to switch apartments pretty easily. Raising rents seems a bit odd since no new services, amenities or added space but I guess since its industry standard to do that it makes it ok.

We have been living at Forest Hills Apartments for a month now and it is better than we could have expected. In our 2 bed, 2.5 bath apartment, there is tons of space as well as closet space, too! Everything was new when we moved in- carpets, paint job, even the electrical outlets were new! All of the rooms are spacious, including the huge private patio with outdoor storage. The neighborhood is quite and the management is super friendly and helpful. The apartments are older but are built much better than newer complexes around town and they are the best units for the rice that we found in the area.

I've been here for a few years and experienced the good, bad and the ugly. The good is that the staff for the most part is friendly. Over the years the turn over rate has been extreme and we seen almost a whole new staff with name changes to the company mangement. The maintenence staff is good and responsive for emergencies and etc. We been blessed with good neighbors however the one we had recently moved and couldn't blame them they were happy. I'm in a situation where if it wasn't for my credit I'd move this year as well especially with how rates are lower in more modern better upscale apartments in wilmington to get more of a bang for our hard earn dollars. The bad? This place is so old, dusty and plumbing is awful. They pretty much gave a pretty face-lift to ugly apartments underneath its nasty and clogged up. Make sure to have good rental insurance you will need it. Our neighbors placed flooded and we notice water damage to our unit through the walls. Also they complain and nag you about trash. We have over 500 residents here and one broken down trash unit. They shouldn't charge us for trash, other upscale apartments charge $25 for valet trash at least they come to the door. Its very inconvenient so think about that before you move here. I've been annoyed by them for my trash; we had to do heavy lifting to get our old mattress and etc to the dumper and they will complain about pity stuff but not willing to solve the issue with trash dampers here. They need more than one this is the only apartment complex that has this issue. I use to live at Mill Creek they have dampers all over. So they lied about that being fixed. Also, parking depending where you're is very overcrowded. You pay expensive rent but can't get one assigned parking, hopefully this changes. We won't know anything about it because this is our last year here; we're moving.

Forest Hills has been a great step in my life! Fairly inexpensive but still centralized location with a kind and caring staff!

Great home feel place and the people seem to mind their own business. I like that because it gives you a sense of privacy. The neighborhood is beautiful with a dog park, kids play ground and a beautiful little creek or river if im correct

It's a great place to stay and the community is quiet

The staff really is very kind, patient, they really make you feel that you are important, they explain the processes well and make everything flow very well, as for the site, it is very quiet, safe, comfortable and nice neighbors, we really love this place

The service this property provides is superb. The management staff and maintenance personnel are top quality and I have recommended and will continue to recommend this property for people to live at. Its also a great place to live if you have a family due to close proximity to schools and its a short drive to downtown. The staff are helpful and always go above and beyond to help you with anything you need.

Great staff both in office and maintenance. They go above and beyond. I moved here so I could take cancer treatments in Charlotte and it was difficult moving into a smaller and older community, but it is warm, quiet I never hear my neighbors and I love the staff! I have never felt so invited into a home before.

Forest Hills is a very nice rental community. The rental rate is slightly better than some of the other communities in this area. The apartment I live in is spacious and the layout is perfect for my needs.

The staff is extremely knowledgeable and courteous. Excellent maintenance department. Quiet neighborhood. Forest Hills feels like home even before you unpack!

I liked that I saw various people out riding bicycles.and walking around the complex. I knew that Forest Hills was liked by tenants years ago. I was pleased when I saw there was an opening. I like that I now have a private half bath.

Forest Hills is a wonderful community to live at. The office and maintenance staff are wonderful and so friendly.

The community is kept neat. Maintenance responds quickly to requests. They are polite and get the job done. Office staff is helpful.

Great living experience,,quiet with a wonderful staff,,,the grounds are well kept as well as the maintenance personnel professionalism......

The location is good. The complex is older with cheap finishes. Over priced I think.

Roaches, poor management, looking elsewhere ASAP

The floor plans are really nice, but the vendors who work on renovations are not good. The counters are damaged, the quality of putting carpet is horrible, painting is horrible, maintenance don't want to fix things properly doing their job great, they are doing it just so they will mark it complete. The quality is overpriced.

Me and my room mate are extremely happy with the layout of the two bedroom floor plan. The staff is amazing and always super helpful. The community is nice and friendly. This is a wonderful place to live!

Beautiful and peaceful

Initially for the first 9 months we had no issues here. They were even super accommodating allowing us to transfer from a 3 bedroom to a 2 bedroom before our 6mo mark after a roommate unexpectedly moved out (although it was under the old management and we did pay a transfer fee). It was nice the old girls in the office knew who we were and we knew we could talk to them (although that has changed). Sometimes the pool was over ran with children, one time a birthday party was even held there even though they say there is a “guest limit” I don’t think it is enforced. Sometimes parking is an issue. It was not until our new neighbors moved in that we began to have a problem... and that problem is BUGS. I understand that happens sometimes and they were brought in, but the problem is we have had them for almost 2 MONTHS to no resolve and we are disgusted. We wish we could move out earlier than we already are (our lease ends the end of August). After repeatedly signing up to have our house sprayed weekly and being reassured by the office, either someone is not doing their job right and something different needs to be tried or the pest guy is not doing his job fully and the office is not assuring that he is doing what is asked. You would think they’d get the picture week after week something is wrong. And if they knew our neighbors had such a big infestation (which they did) they should of done the whole building multiple times so they didn’t come to us. Needless to say we are glad we are leaving and don’t feel this place will ever be a good fit for us ever again.

I love Forrest Hills Apartments, mainly because of the staff!! They are great to work with and everyone is so helpful and friendly. Also the location is "PERFECT' . 4-5 Blocks away from Market St, 2 miles from Independence Mall and Shopping Center, and only 20 minutes from the beach. I can be at the airport in less than 20 minutes also. If and when there's an issue with maintenance, the staff handles it in less than 24 hrs. I just love it here.

Do not live here this is an awful place to live from intense mold to constant breaking and entering. If you decide to move here invest in cameras or you will end up regretting it. I was robbed in the middle of the day by other tenants the courtesy office spends his day filing reports here because the volume of B&E calls from this property are so high. The leasing agents are terrible very rude and disassociated from the reality of this property and be prepared for the pool to be closed the vast majority of summer. Not to mention the absolutely absurd mold problem in these out dated units. WORD TO THE WISE AVOID LIKE THIS PLACE!

This is the worst place to live in all of Wilmington. The following reasons attribute to this review. 1) Extremely poor maintenance response times. My back door lock broke when the door was closed and it took 6 days to fix after I had to call 3 times. I told them it was a fire hazard and this was a required fix and they told me to climb out of a window if there was a fire! Seriously?! 2) They are extortionists! You better make sure to tell them in writing that you are moving out 90 days out from your leaving date. You know, the date that you signed that you would be out of your lease?! They will add 60 days onto your lease at the day rate which is way higher than your monthly rate. Then when you go past your lease, which they will force on you, you have to extend our your renters insurance or they will try to extort another 75 out of you. Before you sign the lease have that paper in hand to give them saying your moving out. 3) they houses at this bell location are 40 years old and they are mold ridden and dilapidated. Then when something breaks its your fault and you have to cover costs to replace things. I have worked for Bell as a maintenance associate and am very aware of how shitty turn overs and cover ups are. 4) I have lived in multiple Bell Apartment complexes including Mayfaire Town center Bell Apartments and this is the worst complex with the worst management team ever. Do yourself and your wallet a favor and NEVER rent this location. 5)They location floods every storm and hurricane. They don't have control of the storm drains behind the complex and every single time a major storm rolls in the water will flood out the dog park and the kids park. During Hurricane Matthew the water came up to the homes.

Spacious townhouse, super-fast response for maintenance issues, plenty of indoor and outdoor storage. We've raised our 3-year-old son here since infancy, and he's loved the playground, frog hunting in the creek, picnics by the grills, and especially the pool! Beautiful location, next to an elementary school and a montessori preschool.

I love living in this community. The people are friendly and kind and so is the staff. The amenities are there whenever I need them (laundry facility and gym). I enjoy the trash compactor as well instead of dumpsters. The rent is very affordable which is a plus and I'm located right in the middle of Wilmington so I like being 10 minutes from everything.
