Wichita Falls combines small-town hospitality with city conveniences, making it an appealing choice for renters. Lucy Park, a 170-acre green space, serves as the city's centerpiece with paved walking trails, a swimming pool, and the city's distinctive man-made waterfall – a scenic recreation of the original falls that gave the city its name. The park system includes an off-leash dog park and various recreational facilities throughout the community. Midwestern State University and Sheppard Air Force Base anchor the city, contributing to its dynamic community.
Housing options in Wichita Falls remain relatively affordable compared to larger Texas cities, with average rents ranging from $633 for studios to $1,372 for four-bedroom homes. Recent trends show modest annual increases, with most unit types experiencing slight upticks between 0.6% and 2.4%. Established neighborhoods near the university district and around Sikes Senter Mall offer both historic homes and newer developments.

Property Ratings at Forest Glen
Modern Apartment the room had everything we needed and it has a good size of bathroom as well. Facilities, location and the view was perfect. Everything was great!
I had a great stay at this hotel. The staff was friendly, the room was clean, and the location was convenient. Overall, a pleasant experience!
Very nice place for families with kids. It has beautiful swimming pool and big area to play for small kids. They are also pet friendly. Staff is also very nice and courteous. Location is very convenient as there is Walmart at walking distance and bus stops at the entrance of the property.
Good Appartments for the price but the staff is really good

Thank you for taking time out to leave us a review. We greatly appreciate it.
I wouldn’t recommended anyone living here. Rented the two bed two bath apartment for 6 months. 1) INFESTESTED WITH ROACHES. I witnessed neighbors move into the apartments and immediately you would hear them saying they needed bug spray. 2) apartments are poorly insulated with terrible AC. During winter it would be freezing, summer it would be blazing. If someone smokes outside u can smell it in ur apartment. When it rains the window seal leaks water. The kitchen is ran down. Even the model apartment had roaches. Management charges u a 5$ pest control fee even though they don’t spray. Lived there 6 months and had the guy come prob once or twice when it was promised they would spray every week. The birds are out of control, my doorway was constantly smothered in bird crap, apartment did nothing about it. My front door wasn’t even sealed properly, you could literally see the inside of my apartment from the outside, they tried to seal it more but didn’t help. The blinds are all taped on. The only good thing about this apartment is the balcony but even then, the door easily slides off the track. If you love giant cockroaches in ur bathroom and kitchen, and in all ur food then this is the place for you! I was literally forced to not use the kitchen to store food. I had to store all food items in a tote to prevent the rosches from getting to them.
Honestly it's that whole "you get what you pay for", saying in my opinion. I am military and I only recommend if you are on a budget. The complex has had 3 management company changes in my 2 years stay, which resulted in rules/policies changes every few months. The prices are pretty good compared to other complexes in the area. The units have good space, however the buildings and fixtures are cheaply done and designed, in my opinion. The neighborhood is constantly noisy, due to communal traffic and fire department less than a quarter mile away. The complex amenities arent worth it. No gym as was advertised, they only keep one of the pools up, the laundry rooms dont stay clean for longer than a day, and TRASH piles clutter the dumpster areas daily. There have been break-ins into office and other amenity buildings a few times. Resulting in digital only payments due to inability to secure their own dropbox. Honestly I've lived in worst places but I've also lived in much better places.
Apartments definitely needs updating especially appliances. Gym needs to open because I’m paying for it and the property and laundry rooms are always dirty. Pools needs to be open a for summer and maintained as well
Maintenance is great. Office Staff is always changing. Water flow/pressure from faucets has been terrible for months. Issue has yet to be resolved. Yearly rent increases. Fairly quiet apartment.
I have lived here 20 years with very few complaints. The customer service is great and maintained very efficiently. It's quiet for the most part.
I’ve only lived here since September 2022 but it had been fantastic so far! Everyone is so nice and so quick to fix any problems! I definitely see myself staying here for the foreseeable future.
Conducive environment to live a quiet and peaceful lifestyle. Great neighbors. Friendly and helpful staff. Wallmart is a five minutes walk! The apartment is well maintained and the maintenance crew is just a phone call away and since moving in I called once for a minor problem and in few minutes Fred, one of the maintenance staff, was knocking my door and fixed the issue that I created and when I said sorry his response was- things happens. Great Place!
Overall our experience here has been the best. We have not had any problems with the apartment complex. We are located to near by stores. Everything is 5- 10 minutes away from everything. It’s a great apartment for people who are going to school.
I have throughly enjoyed my time here at Forest Glen Apartments. I like the location and community. I would however like to address the inconsistent night time lighting. There are areas of the complex that have adequate lighting but there are areas that are completely dark. I challenge the property manager(s) to take a stroll through the complex when it is fully dark and address this issue.
I love it here so much! The staff is incredible! Very helpful with any questions and they’re always willing to help which is nice, I’m looking forward to the pool this summer;)!
Great, no problems so far. I would recommend this to anyone. First glen feels like home. We looked at others and this was our top pick. We are out here for a little but would stay longer if we could.
I love living here. Very quiet and peaceful. I can't wait until the pool opens up. I will be spending alot of time there. The office staff is very nice and helpful. It's a great place to live
It’s not a bad starter apartment. The water is hot, AC works fine, kitchen is nice. There’s plenty of storage which is a plus. Between hall closets, cabinets, room closets, and the pantry, it provides much more storage than most income-based housing
Honestly, I never take the time to write bad reviews. Before living here, I struggled to even get a place here. I explained my situation being a college student who had to move out of my previous apartment due to Covid and that I needed a place to live for school in the fall. There really wasn’t any sympathy. The dates that they said the apartment I applied for kept changing which was a huge inconvenience for me because it caused me to be homeless for about two months of the semester. It was demoralizing. Then finally on move-in day.. I could not even move in till the end of the day as they were still cleaning.. although they told me it would be ready early that day. Then upon finally moving and settling in.. there was a rat in my apartment scurrying around dropping poop everywhere. I told the office about it various times.. leaving voicemails and everything and the only thing that they did was lay sticky traps on the floor while crossing their fingers.. ON TOP OF THAT, there were bugs EVERYWHERE ALL THE TIME. No matter how many times I asked for them to spray. Bugs on the floor, in my room, in the bathroom, in MY FRIDGE.. it was ridiculous. I am not at all a dirty person.. it was the apartment itself.. Then.. when the power outages happened.. my pipes bursted and sewage water poured Into my apartment.. I knew that water would seep in during storms but it was literally raining in my apartment. They made a huge hole in my ceiling to address the issue.. and they left it there FOR NEARLY A MONTH.. there were dead bugs.. rat poop.. debris everywhere.. all over the living room.. next to my kitchen. It was revolting. I left voicemail after voicemail.. email after email.. begging them to fix it. I couldn’t eat or cook in those conditions, so I had to keep ordering take out.. it was horrible. It really threw me into a depression until they finally fixed it.. The nail in the coffin that caused me to make this review was upon moving out. I sat there and scrubbed everywhere that I could.. and they charged me a “cleaning fee” for 125 dollars... they also charged me for the blinds that literally FELL upon me barely opening the door. I didn’t mind paying for the pillars and the stool that I accidentally left (because I moved out alone), but that did it for me.. not ONLY are they keeping my security deposit, but I have to pay them 100 more dollars that I simply do not have. This is ridiculous and I recommend that you do not live here NO MATTER WHAT. It’s NOT worth it.
There are many issues I have experienced with these apartments. The complex (especially on this website) advertises that it has a fully functional gym and club room. In reality, there is no such thing. I tried using their gym once and found that it had outdated/broken down equipment. The club room has been “under construction” and non-functional for over a year. Which makes me question how and why they even have pictures of a club room for this posting. Nowadays, they’re both closed to the public. The maintenance requests here take forever to get fulfilled. For example, It took almost 4 months to get one porch light fixed. The walkability of the complex isn’t good either with there being very outdated and cracked sidewalk/asphalt everywhere. At night there is very poor lighting as well. Majority of my complex area was pitch black for months because of the lack of street and porch lights. The “dog park” they have is pretty terrible as well. It’s basically an outdated and beat up filled in pool. Speaking of pools, they only have one that’s functional. On top of everything else the management team themselves aren’t very nice either. So, if you’re looking for an apartment complex that has a gym, has a commons area, and fulfills maintenance request in a timely manner? I’d recommend going somewhere else..
I've lived here a while. Every time it rains or I run the air conditioner, the apartment floods. I'm charged every month for pest control services and to date, I've never seen an exterminator and I have ants in my apartment. I wouldn't recommend this place to my worst enemy.
Great place to live very friendly staff and a great apartment manager and all other staff are friendly Good quiet place if your single or have a young family Great management and maintenance at affordable prices
The new owners have done several updates to the apartment complex. I recommend Forest Glen Apartments
I have absolutely loved living here at Forest Glen. The leasing office is always very helpful and I haven't had any problems since I have been here. It is a great place to live!
I have lived here for 3 years and would recommend it to everyone. New management is doing lots of remodeling and repair work on the property and it looks really nice. Maintenance is always busy, but tend to get to things as fast as they can. I think they do a great job considering the fact they have to deal with over 300 apartments and daily issues are inevitable. Best place to live for a good price in Wichita Falls.

We are so happy that you love it here! Thanks for your review
Thought it would be best to move my family here to help save some money; the prices are enticing! It looks good, but what you could be potentially paying for is an apartment with leaks, mold, and painted countertops. Not to mention old a/c and heating. It was filthy when we moved in! Water is constantly being turned off for repair, due to sewer back ups. The 4 laundry facilities on site barely work and take your money. Speaking of taking money, I moved out and cleaned the apartment, cleaner than when we moved in. The management charged our full deposit for "cleaning", so don't bet on getting that back. Management stated they always charge for cleaning no matter what. Sadly the apartment conditions are an improvement from when I stayed there years ago, but the management has gone downhill.
This apartment community has changed so much for the better! They have updated painting, lighting , flooring. In WF that's hard to come by at such a reasonable price! I will be staying here forever. Don't have any issues with maintenance or management! Highly recommended!
Apartments look nice in the pictures but totally different in person. Counter tops are painted. Inside the drawers were painted before they were cleaned. Ceiling leaks, slab leaks and door leaks when rain. Only one operation pool. Others on property are full of trash and sometimes sitting water. Needless to say I decided not to renew my lease. I cleaned my apartment according to their move out guidelines and was charged $250 (my whole deposit) for cleaning. Was told I had to speak with corporate to get explanation. Only can contact them by email. Renters Beware. Very unstable management and ownership. No one will hold anyone accountable.
Been resident for 4 years ! Great place to live !!
