Delaware, Ohio is a bustling community about 30 miles north of Columbus. Ohio Wesleyan University resides in downtown Ohio and brings a college town feel to the area. To the west of the Olentangy River in downtown, you’ll find an abundance of incredible, family-owned restaurants such as Son of Thurman. The Delaware Municipal Airport is located in town, as well as three different golf courses and multiple parks. About eight miles north of downtown Delaware, you’ll find Delaware Lake and State Park. There you’ll have access to River Run Park where you can kayak/canoe down the Olentangy River. After you find your apartment in Delaware, make sure to visit local eateries downtown and take a trip down the river for incredible views of Ohio’s natural beauty.

Property Ratings at Forest Brooke
If I could leave a zero star, I would. I had mold in my apartment the entire time living here, management and maintenance did nothing. No onsite maintenance at all, every person has quit. Management insisted I replace problems with the appliances in the apartment. Leaks in my ceiling went without any fixing, the ceiling is sinking in. So glad to no longer live here. Take this as a warning it’s not getting better it’s only getting worse. Terrible for the price. Just don’t move here. Management puts paperwork in late and blames the resident and charges extra for their laziness. Didn’t get my deposit back because they said it was freshly replaced when I moved in, yet the whole place smelled like cigarettes. Great place to live. Not up to the Delaware standards.
Management is very helpful and always willing to assist at any given moment, maintenance staff is very responsive and friendly. The neighbors are quiet, it definitely is very comfortable here and I will continue to stay. Thank you all for everything you do to make this place like home.
I moved in here a little over a year ago, and I can say thanks to Mrs.cooper my transition was smoother then I imagined. Her knowledge of the process and her consistency with me made this process amazing. I felt welcomed. Every maintenance request i ever submitted has been handled in a timely manner and the geographical view is always nice. I am always informed of any changes or request from Mrs.cooper through our community portal and emails. I am quick to refer people i hear looking for a nice affordable place to live, the only problem is there is never a vacant unit.. so I will honesty say Good job MR. Foster on finding such a nice and sweet lady to represent Forrestbrooke apts.

Kim came in as the new resident manager and she has been amazing. Maintenance requests are handled promptly, but what she has done with this property is amazing. Flowers, decorations, even the pool has a "pool party" atmosphere. Kim has made this a place I look forward to coming home to. And on top of that, she is a genuinely nice person. So easy to talk to, so very helpful.

I just moved in but have been really enjoying it here! Property manager Kim and the maintenance team here has been extremely responsive. I have lived in many apartments throughout my life and now I have lived at Forest Brooke for 3 years .My first two years it was not the best place to live just because no one was here to oversee the property or to follow up with us and even the issues we had went unattended for weeks I stayed because the rent is affordable , and the area is located close to shopping and my job. We now have a manager and maintenance onsite all the time and this has improved the response time regarding maintenance and the overall appearance in the property. The new manager is very friendly but professional and expect all of us to follow the rules of the property / cleanliness this has really made a different when you hold people responsible .She is always out on the grounds, cleaning, looking and checking on things as well as us she always takes the time to say hi and ask us if everything is ok in the apartment . I am so happy that I stayed because It is a great feeling to know that we have someone who cares about the property and our needs overall. this past year have been tough on as all! Thank you all for everything you do and all that you will do moving forward

They are giving $10 credit for what I assume they hope is positive reviews. I don’t find it worth it and if anyone ask, don’t bother moving here. Pay a few extra bucks to live somewhere else if you can.

Neighbors are rude and inconsiderate. You hear people being loud late into the night. Managment let's their phone go to voicemail every time you call, so it's impossible to get ahold of them.

The pool is always dirty, they will look for ways to con more money from you, and don’t expect a maintenance person to show up and actually fix anything. This company has been bought and sold so many times no one actually knows who is running the show. Broken fridge and dishwasher for a month and still no one to show up to fix it. Don’t move here. You would rather be homeless.
