Flats on Tamarack

We came to tour this apartment, and on the way in were warned by current tenants that "good luck going in there it's scary" the guy running the office that day was extremely unprofessional, the building smelled AWFUL and the apartment we toured was dirty, smelled, the skin was falling in. I have no clue where they got the pictures listed but THIS IS NOT THAT.

We walked into the kitchen and there was a cockroach ON THE STOVETOP!! The stove was old and rusted out. There were more roaches on the walls in just the kitchen alone. The whole building smelled bad. I would not recommend living here.

Maintenance stinks here! You can't get anything fixed! If you are late you receive an eviction notice and an additional fine. The place is falling apart. Full of mice and bugs. Management has trouble returning calls. Noisy neighbors, fire alarm goes off regularly, and not clean. Someone crapped in the stairwell and no one has cleaned it up! Forget about ordering pizza and having it delivered to your door. They cannot get into the building! Don't rent here. You are better off in a shelter!

Really great experience living here so far. The staff is friendly and always responds quickly to whatever I need. The location is also great. Tucked away enough, so it's peaceful, but also close to most places I need to be.

I was trying to rent an apartment from this homes, I paid the application fee and deposit and they said they do a background check about me and call me within 24-48 hours. After 4 days, I called them but I wasn't able to reach anyone. After few attempts, I was able to talk to someone from the management, when I asked where they are with the process, she told me that she hasn't heard from the corporate office, I asked her to call them and give call back, she called me back at the end of the day and told me she wasn't able reach ANYONE FROM THE CORPORATE OFFICE! since then it have been 4 days and I have answer from them. When I call the office 9 out of 10 I will get the answer machine. I have decided to take my business to somewhere else. so, If you're thinking about renting an apartment from these guys, I wouldn't recommend anyone. They're unprofessional, lazy and really don't even know what the hake they're doing or talking about.
