Property Ratings at Fifty02 Westover Hills
This apartment is poorly run by the management and Office. They could care less about residents problems, or maintenance issues. They will save face by sending someone out, but will take months upon months to fix an issue. The garbage is overflowing every weekend due to there being valet to throw away the trash during the weekend which is paid by a fee which is non-optional every month. You also run the risk of getting your car towed while being parked under a spot that you pay for every month. The front office is inconsiderate when dealing with residence issues and refuses to compensate for their mistakes. Beware before signing a lease here as it is a money grab of an apartment and they have zero customer service.

STAY AWAY! I’ve had an incredibly frustrating experience at this apartment complex since I moved in and it hasn’t even been a month! The upstairs neighbors are CONSISTENTLY loud and obnoxious, making it impossible to enjoy any peace. They are so loud my ceiling fan shakes from their stomping, running, and full on basketball game they must be playing up there. Despite multiple complaints in person and over the phone, the management hasn’t taken any effective action. Their so-called “solution” was for me to move units after I had already settled in, demanding another security deposit and a $50 transfer fee. Why do I have to be punished when I’m abiding by my lease agreement by being a quiet and respectful neighbor. And GOOD LUCK if you want the front office to do anything! Despite being promised THREE times that Xiomara from the front office would call me about the issue, I’ve heard NOTHING. I can’t wait to move out when my lease is up! I’m literally counting down the days!! I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone, please look somewhere else and save yourself the trouble, headache, and money!!!
Since the most recent change in management the property has gone down hill really fast. Trash all over the property and the landscaping just doesn’t look the same either. I would usually see the manager drive the property with one of his office people. The last conversation I had with the new manager was probably 2 weeks ago and it was like pulling teeth she didn’t want any involvement all the conversations was over was the pool and her response was that “pool permit hadn’t been purchased in years” I don’t think that’s very good to be telling residents and also why would the new company stepping in make sure all that was good before stepping in? I guess it doesn’t work like that? To sum it up look else where save yourself the headache with waking up to the morning news and seeing the place you live at on the news for most break ins in San Antonio.
I would never recommend anyone live here. The customer service is poor once they get you in the door. For example, the valet trash service often doesn’t get picked up and instead of the management office doing anything about it, they have you call the trash company. Also, I’ve had people park in front of my garage several times and it’s usually the maintenance staff, but regardless of who it is the management office won’t call the tow company; they expect you to do it. I’ve had mice in my apartment, which they did very little about, and never followed up about. I was the one who had to catch and dispose of the mice. My neighbor had a snake that would come into her unit and they could never figure out where it came in from. And the overall feel of the property in terms of the way it’s run is just really bad and unprofessional.
Fifty02 is a hidden gem! So quiet, clean, friendly. Apartments are modern and offer many different layouts. The property management was so helpful and nice when moving which made it super easy. The complex is tucked away so you can’t hear traffic. Perfect location that is close to multiple shopping centers. Great amenities and military friendly! So happy we found these apartments.
5002 is a gem. Its located conveniently between 2 major highways and nestled quietly near to Sea World. The staff are great.

Overall nice place. Can be noisy from sea world fireworks and highway. Rear Gate is broken more than half the time. Staff could be better about communicating any changes w moth apartment amenities and maintenance. A lot of people w big dogs that can be rowdy. Nice location.

Property and location are what's great. The problem seems there's no real accountability or routine property walk-thru by lead management to ensure daily tasks are done. Pool water often dirty, trash left in hallways for days. Valet trash routinely won't show, leaving mounds of trash all weekend. Gates always broke. Cars getting broken into, wheels stolen. There needs to be daily, weekly, monthly checklists to keep this property on point. If there's no accountability for residents and no real oversight over whomever runs this property then it'll be just another run down complex within a few years. This is way too great of an area to allow that. Management needs to step out the office every now and then and actually look at the property. I've made several inquiries about the pool being cleaned, landscaping work is often half assed. Can't keep bandaging the property with "just good enough" and expect it to hold value. There's basic simple fixes that are just clearly ignored, or completely off the radar all together. That's a shame.

I put a request in a couple days ago to get my doors fixed because the lock was not locking anymore. Then I also put in a request to fix my AC because the AC was not getting any lower at this hot summer time. They fixed everything same day same time. Which was perfect timing to get ready for this Texas heat.

This property was amazing 2 years ago, but was purchased by a new company and it has gone downhill ever since. Most of the buildings have major foundation issues. Waking through the dirty breezeways, you will see huge cracks. The ceiling fans in those breezeways haven’t worked for a long time. Residents rarely clean up after their pets and trash piles up around the dumpster on weekends. I actually saw rats there rummaging through bags. Honestly, if you want to overpay for a below average apartment, this is your place, but if you’re going to throw away your money, there are plenty of other reasonably priced apartments in the area. Before leasing, don’t settle for the basic tour. Go on a weekend and walk through different buildings. You’ll immediately see exactly what you’re paying for as a resident. Future residents beware.

Overall good experience. The pool is relaxing and the pest control is on point. Never any issues with pests. Parking is a pain sometimes. I like the trash pickup and the way the apartments are set up it feels nice and private. Noise issues are minimal.

We have never felt so at home before until moving here to fifty02. Everyone is like family here and the staff are so amazing and always there when you need something. If you are on the look for an amazing apartment complex I definently recoccommend coming here because you will not be disappointed in any way.

As soon as I looked at the apartments at Fifty02 I knew I wanted to live here. My first impression I got about the apartment complex is that it is a quiet place, which I really like. Deciding which apartment layout I wanted was the toughest choice as they were all stunning! My appliances are in great condition and I havent had any issues so far. I highly recommend these apartments.

Living here has been amazing. We have live in another apartment complex and that experince was horrible. Living here is amazing and we feel like we have found a great home with such loving, helpful, and amazing people to be surrounded by!

The staff here has been great. I am grateful for the quiet and safety. Some residents leave trash on the stairwell and at the entrance but it is not the fault of the staff.
