Property Ratings at Fenwick Apartments
Awful experience with management and leasing office. They were totally unresponsive and completely ignored my emails. I lived at Fenwick less than a year. On my first night ( and almost every week after), I received a noise complaint from my downstairs neighbor. I explained to the management and the community teams that it was just me and my toddler and we kept noise to a minimum. I ended up leaving my unit for 3 months to stay with family because I was so sick of the constant harassment from my neighbor. When it was time to pack up my stuff and move out, I came back to a letter from said neighbor accusing me of keeping them up for the past few weeks — we were gone for 3 months, so it couldn’t have been us! The Fenwick team continued to ignore me until I moved out. To add insult to injury, Pepco mistakenly charged me for months I was no longer at Fenwick. I’ve attempted to contact the leasing team multiple times to reimburse or assist me, but of course, they’re ignoring me again. I paid premium for a “luxury” looking building just to be completely dismissed by the Fenwick team. Do not recommend.

Hi, we regret to hear that you had a negative experience with us during your less than a year stay. As far as PEPCO mis billings, you must deal with them directly.
Lived there for three years. Probably the best apartment I've lived at in the last 20 years...mainly because of the staff. Kimberly at the desk always pleasant and engaging, taking care of whatever questions or concerns I had. The place being dog friendly was great, the patio a great social place to meet other neighbors and have cookouts. My neighbor and I even made an evening where we shared our published books that Kimberly promoted with a flyer around the building. Other staff was pleasant, too, from the facilities' guys--Chris and Amado, to Ashley and the others at the leasing staff. I kept two cars there and a bike and never had any issues. I could go on, but know this: Not many buildings around are so community oriented as The Fenwick. Miss this place.

Hi there, thank you for taking the time to leave a review for us at Fenwick Apartments. We're glad to hear we delivered such a great experience. If there's anything further, we can do for you, or if you come back home, we are happy to help!
Worked with Chris to move in October of 2021, he(as well as the rest of the fenwick team) was highly responsive and available for all my questions along the way. The apartment I’ve moved into is/was in pristine condition with a modern look I love. Overall completely satisfied with everything regarding the Fenwick.
I feel like whatever I write would not adequately express my appreciation for my new home/community - Fenwick Apartments. To me, the people of Fenwick are the best part! The warmth here is so welcoming. The Fenwick leasing office is staffed with the kindest people you’d ever want to meet. From my very first visit, to the dreaded move-in day and beyond, I am taken aback by the consistent kindness, responsiveness, attentiveness and professionalism. The managers, agents, concierges, buildings technicians and caretakers — all are down-to-earth and eager to be of service. For me to single out any one of Fenwick’s staff by name seems unfair because they all bring something unique/special; Ashley, however, was my agent and took extraordinary care of me - thanks Ashley! The residents are just as kind and pleasant. I feel so at home at the Fenwick! The amenities are worth every penny. The common areas are kept super tidy, the library has top of the line computers/printer and the gym is well equipped. As a single woman that lives alone and works from home 100% since the COVID-19 pandemic hit, I feel so grateful to have found this community and the wonderful people I see and interact with whenever I am out and about. I HEART FA!
I am starting my 3rd renewal period at the Fenwick this month! Hard to find the words to express the gratitude I feel for having such a great place to live. I have to say thank you to Camille's for her hard work and efforts at making sure my neighbors and I have positive experiences at the Fenwick. The atmosphere she helps create has been so important during these difficult pandemic times (I love the food trucks and lobby music... she's a part time DJ). And a shout out to the entire team for all you do (don't want to list all the names, because I don't want to leave anyone out). Thank you!
My son and I moved here from another state. I did not know anything or anyone. The concierge, Camille was a huge relief. Especially during my birthday month. Her suggestions and ideas for my friends and I, made my celebration a huge success. She is always pleasant and greets my son and I with a smile. She is very efficient with any questions/concerns that I have. She has really made my living experience at The Fenwick a breeze.
I called this property asking about a 1br income based apartment for December. The woman who answered the phone Chamilla answered my questions and even though they didn't have any available she made me wish they had because she ended the call with "Thanks for thinking of us and have a good day". I told everyone that she said that. People are usually not very friendly.
We have toured various apartments in the area and Fenwick is hands down the best place we have looked. Camille and Christopher answered all of our questions and were super friendly and responsive. Seems like a great community and we are looking forward to being a part of it.
I have been living at the Fenwick for a year and a half I love it. My leasing agent Ashley made it such a smooth process when I moved in the middle of the pandemic. Receiving packages is an easy process and the building is beautiful and modern. Maintenance is always responsive. I always feel safe and the building is always clean with lots of amenities. I am extremely happy living here I have no complaints.
I’m very pleased with customer service I received from Nuquanna in management. I had a minor concern and she addressed it very quickly, and provided amazing customer service. The full staff is always pleasant.
We lived here for about 3.5 years, and it's been a great experience. Repairs are efficient, community is good, and amenities are good. There was a slight downturn in quality when the management switched, but its largely been smoothed out. Fairfield has been bringing out food trucks at least once a week, which is great when you don't want to trek to downtown Silver Spring for dinner. Parking is plentiful. The property managers could improve communication, particularly around bi-yearly repairs/fire alarm testing. And there have been instances of bike theft (although my bike was never stolen).
I have been here for almost a year and love living at The Fenwick. The location is awesome... close to downtown but not right in it!
I've lived at the Fenwick for a little while now and can for sure say that when this was owned by Bozzuto, there was a pride they took in keeping up with appearances, creating a "home" atmosphere with familiar concierge who were attentive etc. Now, the concierge is barely at the front desk, you have to come down and let your guest in when people do get in, they just simply come up and are not buzzed up, social events have plummeted, just gone downhill in every aspect. Hope they can turn it around because I know a lot of people will not be renewing their lease.
The previous management was pretty good and we had no complain. The new one is really poor. They just don't care about the building's rules. I have had a few issues since they joined. Two examples: - The cooling system was not working in the lounge room where they charge $150 per hour. - The rooftop deck is supposed to be closed at 11pm. The new staff don't even bother themselves to come up and shut the door and turn the loud TV off in the deck. I am pretty sure if they keep doing this way they will destroy the great review this property has so far.
We fell in love with this property as soon as we walked in. There are a lot of similar properties around but this definitely feels more as a community Erika was great with helping find the best unit available for us, I felt warmly welcomed by the concierge. Everyone was so friendly and the amenities are great! love the colors and art work, just super excited to move in!
I've lived here now for nearly a year and I love it. The only reason I am likely to leave is to move into DC, where I spend so much time because the metro is only a couple blocks away! Management is responsive, neighbors are generally quiet, the common areas are fantastic and dogs are loved here. Easy walking to the metro and downtown bars, restaurants, shops.

The Fenwick is a wonderful property. The location is 5 min walk to metro. The property is nice and the staff is helpful. The 24 hour gym is a plus.
