I moved into one of these apartments in 2019 the night before I was supposed to move in they called me and told me it wasn’t ready. And they were moving me into a different unit that was 1 bedroom smaller than I had paid for. THE NIGHT before. I had to be out of my other apartment and I was moving everything by myself. I had no other options. Thank goodness for my mom. She talked to them and they agreed to move all my stuff into an empty unit and I was to live in a furnished one for 3 weeks! It was so inconvenient. For their mess up the did give us 2 months rent for free, which I did appreciate. The manger was completely unprofessional. She drove me to my unfinished apartment one day on the golf cart to show me the progress and she was SMOKING and blowing it all over me.. so disgusting. The apartment was filthy and I felt like crying, one of her employees even told me that it is always like this and I wasn’t an isolated case and they hated working there because management sucked. Fast forward to me finally moving in and things were still broken but whatever I was in. I would put in work orders to get things fix all the time and I would call multiple times over weeks and nothing would get done my dad had to come fix everything. Fast forward to me eventually getting out of there and handing in the keys mind you I told them well within the 30 days notices I’m pretty sure it was 2 months notices. They told me that I didn’t give enough notice and I wouldn’t be getting my deposit back... all while COVID was going on. All because they switched managers and they were so unorganized. I still haven’t gotten it back. There are many more examples but this is getting too long! Please please please do not waste your time here!!! It looks nice but trust me it is not!
This place is a joke. It took over a year to get our faulty A/C fixed. They knew it was leaking and refused to fix the leak. The ceiling and wall is rotten from a leak in the roof. What did they do? Patched the roof (after multiple complaints!!) and slapped some putty over the rotten drywall. That’s it. The parking lot is poorly lit, so don’t be surprised if your car gets broken into. They’re aware of the problem but refuse to address it. When it snows, don’t expect them to clean the steps or sidewalk. I’m surprised they haven’t been sued out of business because of all the problems they refuse to address.
This place will nickel and dime you to the end. Want to park in front of your buillding? Forget it! The only solution is to create "VIP" spots for an extra hundred bucks a month on an already overcharged apartment which effectively makes it so you CAN'T park unless you pay. Forget the elderly woman using a cane having to walk, or the parent trying to carry groceries and a baby up the stairs. We'll cater to the able bodied individuals that can swing that money. They're also working on taking away you ameneties. Live on a golf course, but now you need to pay extra! If you want any sort of maintenance, be prepared for some attitude. My most recent maintenance request took over TWO MONTHS to complete. You'll have mold on your window and don't expect them to do any more work than throwing a couple of piles of salt down in the winter. The new management just ruined these apartments and they're absolutely not worth the money you will give them.
This place is horrible. The managers are rude and they do not listen to any complaints. They lost our rent check and tried to kick us out even though they had to change they're policy on taking rent checks because they lost rent checks. You will have a high electricity bill due to poor insulation. We paid $200 every month. In the winter we had ice on the inside of our windows. When asked about this they told us to put something on window seal. When moving out they charged for all kinds of ridiculous things such as fixing outside gutters. I have lived in around 10 complexes and this is by far the worse one. Dont let outside appearances fool you.
When I lived here before the maintenance didn't take good care of the place. Water comes in your apartment when it rains.
We were not at all happy with our experience here. The management went back on their word multiple times, and gave us the run around. They are unprofessional, and I would not recommend this apartment to anyone.
Management is a joke. Prices went up. But building and the inside of apartments are still awful. Maintenance takes about a month to reply. The office people are so rude and all they do is make up excess for everything. The walls are so thin you can hear your neighbors. Moved here because it was a gated community, but the gates are never close. And if you want the renovated apartments it is ridiculously expensive. Might as well move in to a brand new apartment somewhere far away from here. Like down at Fallbrook. My boyfriend renewed his lease and office people lost his contract and kept charging more rent. Stay away this place is a joke.
The new staff is awesome. Zach and Jessie are good maintenance techs. They are very helpful!
So far I love living here. Lots to do ...great location. Property has daily shuttle running back and forth to campus. Saves me gas money!! Pool and club house are way better than other places I’ve seen. Golf course brings nice calm environment.Apartmnets are nice inside for the money....full size washer and dryer. Nice views.
I recently toured these apartments and had a great experience. The property manager was very nice and knowledgeable. She took time to discuss options and pricing.
Love living on the Golf Course!! Great views plus awesome pool and club house! New management company making lots of great updates! Thumbs up!! Close to University!!
New management said they would be better than the last management, turns out they are just as unorganized and rude. The buildings were built very fast and poorly. Do not let the outside appearance of this place fool you, it is not near as nice as it looks, they are over charging for the quality of living you will get from this place.
this place is a nightmare. the staff are awful. the leasing clauses will screw you out of money you shouldn't have to pay. management doesn't know what the heck they are doing. I am so completely disappointed with my experience here I have now made it my life goal to help others NOT LIVE HERE. you will regret it. one way or another. OHHHHH and they don't open their pool until the beginning of June AND they don't replace carpet when it has obviously not been cleaned properly. DON'T MOVE HERE. don't. You probably think this is one of those reviews from an insanely picky person- but its not. This is the real deal. Do yourself a favor and run in the opposite direction. oh by the way, my real rating is -5 stars.
This property has recently come under new management. The prices for each room have been hiked as well as bills. I was given a 2 day notice that my lease was up and of the increase in price. I would not recommend this community to anyone.
Moldy windows, no one picks up dog poop, dirty carpet! I would never reccomend this place.
If you are looking for luxury, this is not the place for you. You will need to pay a little more elsewhere for that. If you are looking for an average place to stay, then this place isn't horrible. The buildings look very nice from the exterior however, the interior is sub par. The windows are terrible. They freeze over, then leak in the winter months. They also produce this gross black moldy mildew stuff year round that I clean off with clorox often, but grows back almost instantly. This is an issue for everyone that I know who lives out here. The management is lacking here. The grounds are not clean, or taken care of. The only grass they really do anything with is the golf course. It is stated in the lease that you must pick up dog poop and cigarette butts however, nobody does either. It is absolutely disgusting. The patios are supposed to be kept tidy, but most people use them as a trash area. Very unsightly. The surrounding neighborhoods are nice, so this place is pretty safe. A couple cars in front of my building were broken into, but other than that I have never felt unsafe here. Your electric bill will be high here, there is no way around that due to the poor insulation and poor structure. (gaps between doors and walls) Maintenance is good here, I have never had an issue with them, as they usually resolve my problem the same day. They require you to go through them for cable and internet. I haven't had their cable, but the internet is awful. It is super spotty, and when you call for help the people are based out of Arizona, so they can't actually send anyone out to help. The pool is very nice, and not your typical small apartment pool. They have a van that drops students off on campus, which is very nice. They also have tanning beds, but I would not recommend using them. They gym is nice, and big enough to get most of your workout in. I lived here for 4 years while a student, and it got me through, however now that I will be making more money, I am getting out to go somewhere nicer.
I lived there in 2011 and was attacked by their maintenance man! I lived on bottom level. He jumped the fence pushed me up against brick wall and groped me!! I never could stay there again because I didn't feel safe ~ he had key to apartment. So I moved out and got a letter from the corporate office in AR stating I owed for breaking lease. I wrote back stating what happened and it was the understanding I owed nothing. I just checked my credit and found out they sent me to a COLLECTION AGENCY!! They put up signs asking you to leave water running so pipes don't freeze. Not for children as many college students live here and they pass out in lawn, puke, broken bottles, drive around gate if it happens to be locked which 99 % of the time it's not, loud. My son found a needle in the pool! Staff was very rude. No garages! Way too much money for what you get!! I'm thinking about contacting attorney over being groped and sent to collection agency!!
We live in an apartment on a golf course. On the outside they are beautiful, but on the inside, not so much. They are very small, our particular building doesn't have a balcony or a patio. We love that it's on a golf course and has a huge pool and gym, but not happy with the size of the way it's built.
Beautiful grounds, great staff but, because on golf course, one must beware of possibility of being hit by a ball or two, and a "gated" Community with locked gates that need a passcard after hours but gates aren't connected. Anyone can just stroll right in. Duh!
The links offers a large amount of amenities and sits upon a golf course and a private lake. Its is a vibrant but yet quiet community with well manicured grounds and a large club house which offers tanning/ sauna, a business center, a billiards/ping-pong/lounge room, a sauna, a work out center, a pro shop/lunch grill with service staff, and a pool and hot tub. All of the previously mentioned are great but what really made me choose the links was their private shuttle to the University of Nebraska Lincoln. The shuttle service provides much convenience during hectic semesters and has an added bonus of dropping off in the heart of downtown which is full of restaurants, shops and entertainment venues!
You will love this place in the summer. It is beautiful with tons of stuff to do. The pool and golf course is amazing. The apartments are pretty good for the money. Not the nicest but not the worst. I came here especially for the amenities and the price especially since they all have washer and dryers in unit! Can't go back to coin laundry I'm too old I did my time! Lol. If you don't like dogs this is not the place for you. Wish they enforced picking up dog waste better and I even have a dog. I have met a lot of nice neighbors and I love having a separate entrance! Take a look!
