Property Ratings at Fairview Court Townhomes
Would never recommend living here to anyone. The unit itself was decent at first - fairly updated, good layout with a small fenced but they charge way more than it’s worth. Bedrooms are small & there is no storage space at all. They come in for far more “inspections” than should be necessary. It felt like they were constantly coming in to check things instead of doing it all at once like every other place I’ve lived. The garage seems like a bonus except it barely fits a small car! Parking here is a nightmare!!! They make you pay for a parking permit when you move in but there’s never any spots available!! There’s only a handful of parking spots with 150+ units so you have to park on the street and walk quite far. Even finding a spot street parking can be difficult at times, not to mention unsafe and not the best area. Our car window got smashed and broken into on the street and you can’t even park in front of your unit long enough to unload groceries without getting towed and fined! Management is also horrible here. Ladies in the office seem nice at first but are actually rather passive aggressive and nosy. Like I said, would not recommend this place to anyone!!
Moved from out of state thinking this place would be a good place to live temporarily with my family. This building is next to stone brook a condominium community. The second I pull in with our moving truck I get yelled at! apparently the condominium community is upset that there is not a fence to separate the town homes. I get harassed almost on a daily because we drive on "their" street! My kids are also being harassed I called the managers several times and was told to call the non emergency if they said anything to me. According to the police they can say what they want to there is no threat so they can say whatever they want. Oh and my water was shut off cause the previous renter didn't pay their bill! I told them when I first moved in I couldn't put the water in my name cause there was a past due balance I expressed this to the manager nothing was done and now I'm left without water and it won't be turned on till the next day because they have to get an approval for payment from corporate. Oh one last thing of you live here don't expect to have guests. There is no where to park! Most people that live here don't use their garage or have more then one vehicle.
This place is awful. No parking. No shelfs for your needs, cold vinyl planks NOT WOOD on cement floor, summertime hot upstairs, no AC. Towing truck looking to tow your car, often no one in the office, rude manager.
Do not sign a lease without viewing your actual unit, they do not all look alike as I was told. You cannot have the internet company of your choice as I was also told, it depends which company your building is wired for. The website specified there is air conditioning, there is none. The 205 freeway is right behind; the traffic noise is so bad that windows are closed most of the time Backyard fencing gives no privacy Usually no where to park a 2nd car except way out on the street, I was told parking a 2nd car would be no problem in the reserved townhome parking. Forget finding one of those spaces after 3pm Garages are so small that large SUVs will not fit, also because they are so small, most residents’ keep their trash/recycle cans outside so you think every day is pick up day Upstairs bathrooms do not have drawers or cabinets No downstairs coat closets in the 2 bedroom units Some units do not have a garbage disposal Refrigerators are equipped with ice makers, but not connected to a water line Kitchen drawers and cabinets much smaller than usual size, storage of pots and very difficult. Basic silverware, knives, forks, and spoons will not fit in one drawer together
They don't care about you here!!! They only want your money, they don't provide enough parking for their tenants, and will tow/ticket you at any chance they get....They didn't think ahead or plan for the 2nd car per unit, I mean theses are 2 and 3 bedroom apartments, and the second car is TOAST if you don't get home before 5pm to find a place to park, you have to park on the street, which in my case is almost a half a mile away from my unit!! SAVE YOUR SELF THE TROUBLE. DON'T LIFE AT STONEBROOK...THEY DON'T CARE ABOUT YOU.
I would give -100 stars if I could! I usually don't ever post reviews but I am soooo miserable, unhappy and almost angry "surviving" here that I just have to write this in hopes that it will help someone to avoid huge amounts of stress and looooooots of money! These were built with $$$ signs in mind and definitely not people. This might work for people that don't drive, don't owe a car and don't need space for anything. Management tells you to park in the garage because they build over 150 units and provided parking for about 10 cars. And they have a towing truck feels like on site at all times, towing cars that are not parked in "designated" 10 parking spaces. This means you park outside of the apartment complex and walk 2 to 3 miles (depending how deep you are in the complex) to get home. I guess the positive about this is that you get your exercise in?! Management team is like nothing I've ever had to deal with before... I've submitted few maintenance requests (keep in mind that these are new construction, but because all appliances and building materials are so cheap, everything keeps breaking constantly) on August 17th and today is September 21st and nothing has been fixed yet. We will be breaking our lease and every penny will be worth it. Also keep in mind, that if you do break your lease, or if your lease is up and you are moving out, make sure your 20 day notice falls on the last day of the month, because if it's not, they will still charge you entire month rent, even tho you moved out on the 5th. Apparently they don't do pro-rate?!?!?! What??? I moved 8 times in the past 9 years and every single apartment or home I rented, only charged for the days that were occupied by me. Can't wait to move out of this place!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
No parking. No linen or coat closet. They ask you to park in the garage, so there's really no place to store anything. Car was towed, because it was parked in front of my garage shortly after we moved in and I had no idea and was never told we can't park in front of OUR garage. Got 2 parking tickets because parked in a place that according to parking compliance is "no parking area" but there was no signs. This place has a contract with a towing and parking companies, and those companies do regular drive trough's so you get your car towed and a ticket on top. Save your money and time, look for a place that you can actually call home and not stress every evening coming from work hoping to get "lucky" and find a parking space so you don't park on the street and walk for 10 mins.
Beautiful town homes. With that said comes the reality. If your a family with more then one car be ready to park outside the complex. If you come home after 5 pm like most of us you will hardly ever find a parking spot, park in the wrong parking lot or spot get ready to pay $300 to get your car back. Staff are nice will help you with any of your problems, but there is a catch. You I'll most likely wait 1 week before things get done. My advice be home to check the quality of the repair or else you will have to call and open a claim again. Don't park in front of your house over night or in the morning before work, there are tow trucks driving around randomly. You will get towed. Other then that it's beautiful and conviniently located to everything including shopping hwy. and more.. Enjoying the stat moving asap.
If only I have the money to break my lease, I would in a heartbeat! I don't even know how the City approved this place to run! Absolutely stressful when it comes to parking! Their contracted towing company watches everyone like a hawk, ready to give you a ticket or tow your vehicle! Please do not unload any groceries in front of your house without having someone watching your car or else you will get a ticket in under 30 seconds! Stonebrook is about making money and they absolutely don't care about their tenants! Ask around if you will! All the tennants here won't have a problem telling you how horrible it is to live here!! Just now, as I was typing this, I got a letter in my door from them saying that, I could have my ice maker working if I paid $120! They are all about money here! NOT ENOUGH PARKING SPACES TO COVER THEIR TENANTS and absolutely cheap appliances to work with! If you want a MISERABLE LIFE, you can absolutely live here!!!
Whoever gave the first review must've been the owner of this place! There is nothing amazing about this place! The outside is pretty, ok, I give you that, but everything else is just horrific! No parking, no storage, no coat closet, nothing! People almost would die for parking spots here. yhey don't care about your concerns nor what you have to say! Don't even waste your time. Smh.
Don't move here unless you have no car and no items to store! Lol The townhomes themselves are very nice and cute inside, but we will unfortunately be moving as soon as our lease is up. There is no storage- no closets, pantry, and the kitchen cabinets are a joke. Whomever designed them was not thinking. We have to slant our plates sideways just to fit them in. Some homes have disposals and some don't... No disposal?! What is this, 1950?! Parking is terrible. Literally garage parking only and you'll only fit if you have a small car (especially since the garage is our only source for storage....) The neighbors are noisey and have poorly behaved children. Although the staff is friendly, they seem dis-organized and leave unprofessional notes on doors frequently. So sad because this location and the house itself are awesome! I'm not complaining just to complain, we just want to share our opinions ;)
I love it here! It is close to a large grocery store, c-stores, gas station, public transportation. You have your own off street parking place. It's nice quite place to live.
These are brand new townhouses with cute fireplaces. They are pet-friendly and have a little lawn area for pets. The staff is nice. That being said, I'll be moving as soon as possible for the following reasons: 1. Extreme lack of parking spaces, and no driveway. Any parking error is swiftly punished. 2. Extreme lack of storage within the townhouse. No pantry, no linen closet or coat closet, no drawers in bathrooms. 3. No central air conditioning, although window a/c units are allowed. 4. Constant, very loud road noise from I-205. 5. Frequent letters posted on the door regarding various community issues.
