Eventide

I have been pleasantly pleased for almost 2 years leaving at Eventide Apartments. I feel safe and the staff is friendly and helpful. I like all the community activities.

My choice to move into Eventide was a good one. Not only do I have an awesome view of the water, the office and maintenance staff have been there to answer questions and fulfill work orders in a timely fashion. The grounds are kept clean and manicured and my neighbors are friendly and quiet. I also like that Eventide is conviently located to Parris Island and shopping stores.

My experience was smooth from start to finish with move in. I do feel safe in the area. Also, this area is perfect for families with dogs. So far, I am loving my unit.

The staff at Eventide, especially Lindsey, was very helpful from my early stages of looking to relocate to Beaufort, through the application process, to the timing of when I needed to move in, I could not have imagined a more seamless process. Long distance moving is not easy and yet everything went smoothly.

STAY AWAY!! RUN FAR AWAY FAST!! Too many roaches, disgusting and dirty apartments upon move in. Go somewhere else!!

Pictures speak for themselves. A few days after move in we saw roach activity. Eventide had Massey their pest control come in, but the guy was more concerned with talking about his wine slushy at putt-putt golf. The assistant manager Debborah said pest control can only come every 10 days. The company I hired said they can come sooner than that. Nothing worked. I have asthma and CLL so I don't fight things off well and was very sick. I got pneumonia within the first two weeks there and never really got better after 2.5 months. We lost EVERYTHING because of Eventide Jack of caring. I was very careful how I stored food, but they were in the drawers and cupboards crawling and pooping on dishes, silverware, spices. They were in all the furniture and started biting us once there was no other food source. I couldn't cook there or even eat there it was so gross. It's unsanitary, a health hazard, gross and vile. I also contacted the office FIVE times about the neighbors upstairs who were extremely loud all hours of the night. Deborah said I hadn't reached out, yet she responded to the first email about it stating that she "would make a note of it." Finally after the 5th time of contacting the office she supposedly reached out to "remind them of quiet hours." Which did nothing. In the outdoor hallway you constantly have to watch where you're walking or you'll step on roaches or marsh crabs. At move in the floors made your feet so black and I milled with bleach water and soap for two weeks and they still turned our slippers black. You couldn't walk barefoot in there. The bathroom smelled like urine no matter what I used to clean it. The tub had some sort of slime on it at move in. Yet Debborah said they had it "professionally cleaned before we moved in." Lol. The mail room constantly has dead bugs in it, the pool has some sort of green slime by the fountains, the pool deck had food and ants on it. The water had tons of bugs in it and the trash was overflowing. I only went twice because it too was gross. Pictures can be deceiving, and the friendly attitude when you first call to apply faded once you move in. We lost everything. Both my parents are gone and we lost things they made us. We lost pictures of our daughters and family members because the roaches over took everything. Clothing, furniture, books, my Bible, socks, underwear, literally everything! And Eventide doesn't care. I'd stay away if I were you. (Pictures in other sites)

Eventide is a great place to live with amazing staff.

My 4 years at Eventide has been a positive experience. The staff is always available to any issue I might have. Maintenance crew is prompt and always handles any issue.

I spent quite a bit of time looking for an apartment home in Beaufort SC., I needed it to be conveniently located, clean, modern and most certainly including amenities. At Eventide I found the perfect home. I love my water view and screened porch. We share a friendly staff and there is a “small town” relaxed atmosphere within the community. Eventide is the Low-country at its best.

I have now lived at Eventide for about 20 months. Deborrah, the Assistant Property Manager, reached out about my upcoming lease renewal. I had some options I wanted to explore and she was so knowledgeable and helpful. Anna, the manager, later joined the conversation. They both are thoroughly professional, patient, and just delightful people. Beyond leasing, they have worked to enhance the clubhouse & grounds. Their efforts, along with those of the stellar maintenance guys, have elevated the Eventide experience. It is better than ever! I am looking forward to staying here and enjoying all that the campus has to offer.

I really enjoy living at Eventide! The office staff is amazing. I really enjoy coming in to the clubhouse they always have drinks and snacks. Deborah, Lindsey and the Property Manager are always friendly and they always make me fell at home. I love calling Eventide home.

This apartment complex is the best bag for your buck! Reasonable rent for the lowcountry, great amenities, and wonderful staff!

These apartments are the very best in Beaufort County. Even from the outside they stand out and look way better than the rest! The amenities are outstanding and the staff was very helpful and friendly.

Our experience for the last two years at Eventide has been wonderful and the staff is amazing.

I like living here because it is quiet & beautiful. There is a private boardwalk in the back of the community where you can stroll anytime you want to. There is a shelter at the end of the boardwalk where you can sit down & just enjoy the day. I also like the fact that there is a small gym that I can go to if I cannot exercise in nature. The clubhouse & pool area is very beautiful. Even if you are not a swimmer, you can sit down & enjoy the day.

Having the ability to walk out on the marsh and just hear nature all around you makes for such a relaxing living experience.

One thing is very important to me that I’m in a safe place and I feel safe here. This is my first time living in an apartment.

Lived here about a year now and I’m trying to buy of of me lease early. You pay a lot of money for the fire pit to not work half the time, or the pier lights don’t work so you can’t enjoy an evening out on the pier while the sun sets, or since they have you pay to park they can’t guarantee you a parking spot by your apartment, you have to park across the lot and walk a good distance to your apartment with groceries. They do have events for all of their residents, but it feels like they spend more money on events than actual ensuring their residents are comfortable. Oh yeah not to mention when I moved in my apartment that was supposedly cleaned was extremely dirty,patch up paint colors didn’t match, bathroom was dirty, stove/oven was definitely not touched, and my washer and dryer had to be fixed 4 times the first week I moved in before they replaced it with a new one. Lastly don’t lose or accept a damaged key fob or they will charge you $75 for a new regardless of what happened. Wish someone would have done a review like before I signed the papers and sadly I’m not someone who leaves reviews unless I’m very disappointed in something and that takes a lot. If you decide to live here I hope you get treated better if not become apart of the leasing offices click circle, they will take very good care of you then.

I like living here because it’s a nice community. It’s quiet for the meat part. Admin & maintenance staff are very helpful. They listened to me & responded to my request based on priorities. The community backs up to the creek & it has a dock with a shelter at the end. I can go anytime to watch the sunrise, sunset or just to get fresh air. I like that it has a mini gym that is open 24-hours & I can go workout whenever I feel like it.

We love living at Eventide! It is beautiful and well maintained. But most of all our management team and maintenance team are the best! They are friendly, professional, available and very responsive!

The staff are extremely friendly, genuine and willing to work with you regarding your specific circumstances. The residents are amazing as they are friendly and willing to help one another. The location is absolutely beautiful on the waterfront. I am very happy with my decision to move to Beaufort and live at Eventide.

Eventide has been a great place to live in the low country. We've enjoyed having a pool, gym, and dock access looking over the marsh. Its located near multiple grocery stores and is just a short drive to downtown's main street.

Since day one the staff at Eventide have been more than accommodating. They are always available for questions and go out of their way to make sure you feel comfortable. I love my new community!

Knowledge is power! Minimal guest parking (11 spots) and a limit on how many days you may have a visitor (7 per month). Smoking is “prohibited” on property, however people smoke in the parking lot, at the dog park, at the pool. We see many cigarette butts just lying on the ground. There are several dog poo “stations” around the complex. Sadly, many owners refuse to pick up after their dogs. The one maintenance person does his best to clean up the piles, but you may step in poo at night if you’re not careful.

I especially appreciate the friendliness of the residents and staff as well as the monthly events planned by the staff.

Great, responsive people on staff; office and maintenance alike. However, the rent is not worth the apartment, the parking situation is terrible and now they are charging for parking. Will still be unable to park near building as these are multiple cars per apartment and when parking lot was renovated, the curbs were expanded to remove spots.

Eventide is a clean, well-equipped and well- maintained community. We are very happy here!

Eventide is a wonderful place to call home. I really enjoyed the 2 years that I lived there. I would highly recommend it.

The first time I arrived at Eventide, I was greeted by Stephanie who was very friendly and was able to answer all my questions and very knowledgeable. Eventide is the kind of place I was looking for, it has all the enmities.

The community is filthy overall. Common areas, pool area, etc. The trash bin has been a filthy mess for months. The mailroom is unorganized - and dirty. The dock is terrible, no lights, nowhere to sit - for months. We have moved out, ended our lease

I love my apartment. The view of marsh and water is wonderful. Maintenance is prompt on apartment maintenance.

Eventide is peaceful, quiet, very comfortable, with superior staff and maintenance team. We are so glad we chose to live here!

Finding Eventide Apartments when my wife and I were searching for a new home was an absolute blessing! Kymber and her staff were warm and welcoming, and the apartments were new and clean. The amenities are terrific!
