Estancia At City Center

Estancia is MY HOME! Senior Mgt is friendly, lnowledgable & responsive Apt. floor plan is excellent throughout! Capital improvements over the past 18 months were excellent from contractors for painting, carport replacement & beautiful, contemporary! Gym was completely rennovated with the best updated equipment!

I have been at Estancia at City Center for 8 years, and they have surpassed my expectations in every way every year. I love being here.

I really enjoy it! The apartment is nice. Maintenance is very nice!

Location is great, but that’s not unique to this complex. Plenty of properties to choose from around here. Take the reviews from people who have only lived here a few weeks with a grain of salt, Greystar offers a points system to incentivize people to leave good reviews. I am counting down the days until I’m no longer giving Greystar my hard-earned money. Front office staff and maintenance simply do not care about resident experience. Tickets routinely take weeks to address and multiple rounds of service, service is confirmed for a certain day and then maintenance shows up on another, items left in worse condition rather than fixed, and ZERO communication about tickets (minus constant spam surveys when items haven’t even been addressed.) Rent is far too high for this level of service. Would love to know what corporate shareholder salaries look like. I was told the thick layer of ice around all of our windows and outdoor doors in the winter was “to be expected,” along with cold drafts causing hikes in our electric bill. Take a walk around the complex in winter and you’ll see towels shoved against windows or plastic/foil trying to keep the cold out. Mildew is apparently considered normal at Estancia. Many dog waste bins have been removed from the property, and dog parks turn to mud pits in the rain. Broken glass sat outside of a building for 6 months, as did a dead rabbit in the middle of the sidewalk. Maintenance is too short staffed to address tickets, let alone ensure the property is safely maintained. Greystar staff - before you post your typical “we’d love to talk more with you, please contact us” generic message, I have. You aren’t listening.

I miss some of the best people have left who is Karla who got me signed up for my 4th year here now. Very beautiful the all new plants that were planted this year. And keeping them watered and the grass even stayed healthy. Looks really nice this year taking my walks.

I love the location. Close to great restaurants and stores. Also conveniently located to a number of highways.

So far in my less than one month living here, I have no complaints to report out that would prevent me from re-signing a lease. Environment is good, kitchen appliances are great, and location is great for those wanting to be active.

Never move here. Don’t even drive by. Poorly managed, expensive, and the staff doesn’t care

I have been living at Estancia at City Center for over seven years, and I have loved being here. The Leasing Office and the management at this apartment complex is super nice, prompt, and handle things responsibly. I recommend this apartment complex without a doubt. The value for money at Estancia at City Center is far superior to the apartment complexes in this area in Lenexa.

I just recently moved into to the Estancia at City Center and I love the community and the staff. They have always been available to answer any questions I have in a timely manner. I love the location and would recommend this as a great place to live.

Karla was great and helped me from the start to finish. The application process is very standard and nothing out of the ordinary. I like the location right by the city center and school for my kids. So far i have no complaints.

Today I made an honest mistake and didn’t pick up my dog’s poop in the dog park. This resulted in a resident harassing me and trying to follow me to my apartment. I started walking to the leasing office and then he stopped following me and sat outside where he thought I lived. I brought this up to management and they told me they’ve given residents explicit permission to follow people home. The manager seemed more upset at me than the resident who made me scared to go home, even though my voice was audibly shakey and I was clearly upset from this encounter. I walked around the complex trying to avoid this person and they sat outside where they thought I lived until I confronted them on video. This resident’s dog is also a puppy on a 20ft leash and not allowed in the dog park but he’ll sit outside of it all day waiting to get mad at someone. I’m now intimidated to even use the facility because I’ll run into him. I understand that dog poop is an issue in the community, but I normally pick it up and just made an honest mistake because I didn’t see him go. This park has been littered with poop since I moved in over 3 years ago, half the time when I would go to pick up my dogs poop I couldn’t even find his because there was so much left so I would just pick up a random one. I dodge dog poop going to my dumpster every time, so I get it, but giving residents permission to follow people home is crazy. I’ll be looking for a new place when my lease is up.

When they're selling you the apartment they respond swiftly. When servicing, you have to shame, cajole, and go to every review website to get a response/service

The location is great, management is friendly, and the apartments are beautiful! A wonderful, quiet community that I plan to live in for a long time.

I only recently moved into the apartment a few days ago, however the staff has been very helpful with any questions I have had and always seem to be around with help.

I have been living at Estancia at City Center for almost 7 years, and I love it here. The reason I like it so much is because the people who manage the complex and the people who are my neighbors are so kind and lovely. The culture here is positive, efficient, helpful, and neighborly. I hope to stay here for years to come.

terrible experience over the last year... no pre- planning for residents that are displaced ...when I first moved here they were kind and courteous genuinely cared if there was a residents concern... now attitude "tuff stuff deal with it"

I love being at Estancia at City Center! Greystar Management (who manages Estancia at City Center) has been super professional, kind, and willing to go the extra mile to make things better for the tenants. I think it is hard to find an apartment complex that has all of the desirable qualities (clean, professional, kind, caring, reasonable rent, good maintenance staff, etc.), and Estancia at City Center has it all. I have been living here for almost 7 years, and I hope to be here for years to come.

Loved the property when we first moved in 3 years ago, but sadly a lot has changed for the worst. The management team and maintenance team are not professional and it seems like they don't care about the residents who have been living here long term. The rent prices keep going up and they have taken away an amenity each year. Our last year here has been with no assigned parking spot has, which that experience has been awful especially with all the construction going on. Maintenance request take up to 2 weeks to get done. It's frustrating and disappointing when you find a place to live that you love because there is potential for this community to be great but the property management team makes it impossible to call this place home.

I have been living at Estancia for over 6 years, and I can say with complete honesty that I have loved every minute of being here. Two neighbors moved out at different times over the past 4 years, and they both said they made a mistake moving out of Estancia. I am so happy with my apartment. I bet you would like it here too!

Excellent leasing staff and maintenance service is great. I love the atmosphere and our apartment is superb.

Sure, the property looks pretty and is located within walking distance to a few things. But if you are looking to move in 2023, I would look elsewhere. There has been (and apparently will continue to be) nonstop construction/work on carports, roof replacement, building painting, staircase maintenance, even the dumpsters are being worked on. Great for residents in a year or two, but as a current resident who works from home, it’s been miserable. Sections of parking lot and sidewalk have been blocked off for weeks (even months) without improvement. We just received notice that construction will now be happening on Saturdays as well. I can’t hear myself think at this point. Additionally, I’ve never had so many requests to enter my apartment as with Estancia. It feels like every month there is some fireplace check, air filter check, pest control spray, fire extinguisher check, most recently a random lender inspection. And of course they can’t tell you when these will happen, so you have to base your entire day around this if you WFH and/or have pets that need to be put away. The buildings have leaky windows and doors, making electricity painfully expensive. And rent increases are insane…mine was proposed at over $170 a MONTH for the next year. It was a nice property when I moved in and I’m sure will be nice again once construction is complete, but I wouldn’t recommend in the near future. If you plan on staying for more than a year, plan for a hefty rent increase. Also, stop with the points system!

Please avoid any residence managed by Greystar. They do not maintain their property and will in great likelihood be using Covid as an excuse in 2030. Also, they say they have amenities, what they mean is “in theory, when working, there’s a possibility you could use the amenity.

Not only will you wait weeks to have maintenance completed, you have to hound them. You can't just leave a message, more often than not you have to go into the office to get any response. The online web portal is consistently incorrect in advising the amount of rent due and facilities are often closed for no reason or open much later than then management stated they would be.

This is a great community to live in. I would say do your research before moving in especially if you are going to be on the 1st floor. Make sure no small kids are living above you. The noise from them running across the floor playing will drive you nuts due to how loud it is, especially during the morning hours when you are trying to sleep in.

I have been at Estancia for almost 6 years, and I love it here! The management is so kind and thoughtful, and they go the extra mile. They were so cute because they put this bag of candy on my door for Halloween. Someone who lived in my building moved out recently, and now she says she regrets having done so. She said some of her best years were in this community. Anyway, come see for yourself. The green lawns, beautiful big trees, and super nice staff makes me super happy!! (I also like the fountain out front. It is kind of European - afterall, Kansas City is a City of Fountain).

It's a great place to live. Understanding staff, safe neighborhood, excellent schools, and passes vibe check.

I am very pleased with the office staff and the maintenance team. I am recently retired and sold my home. I have never lived in an apartment complex and wasn't sure what to expect. My experience at Estancia has definitely exceeded my expectations. Thank you.

I have been at Estancia for almost 6 years, and I love my life at Estancia. The management, Greystar, is super organized and methodical. I love the team who runs the Leasing Office, and the maintenance team are really a gem. I am happy and have peace partly because of my wonderful apartment at Estancia. I am so glad I found them in January 2017!! Yay, Estancia!!

Estancia was timely with a recent AC issue that I really appreciated. They handle issues in a timely manner typically, it's just getting the communication that something is being handled that they could improve on. I've lived here for 3 years and have so far enjoyed my time with minimal issues.

My experience with Estancia and their staff has been very positive. From my initial tour to my move-in. I want to thank the leasing agents and maintenance staff for making everything effortless.

I chose Estancia becuase of the spaces rooms and all the beautiful trees, Most of the apts now have very small rooms and the patios barely have enough room for any patio furniture.

i like living there, it’s just one thing after another. when maintenance comes to fix something, something else stops working a couple of days after

Estancia has a few things that they can improve upon but overall, it has been a positive experience living here. The location is awesome!

Easily the worst place I've ever lived. I didn't have a working dryer when I moved in because they didn't clean the vent for years. I put in a maintenance request and it took two weeks to get anyone to do anything two months to actually settle the matter. Then, when I started getting sick, I looked around and found mold on my window and patio door. I moved out because I'm not waiting months for them to remove it correctly and now I'm stuck paying thousands of dollars for a place I don't livebecause my roommate doesn't care and Estancia doesn't care as long as they're getting money.

Great community to live in. Staff is very helpful when you have any questions or concerns.
