Head north from Columbus along U.S. Highway 23 for just over 60 miles and you’ll find yourself in Upper Sandusky, a laidback northern Ohio city surrounded by sprawling farmland and housing incredible amenities. Named for its location near the headwaters of the Sandusky River, Upper Sandusky provides renters with a variety of long-standing homes and apartment rentals, all shrouded by towering oaks and wide, tree-lined streets. The city center at Wyandot Avenue and Sandusky Avenue is where you’ll find locally owned Italian eateries, Mexican, American and more. Locals gather at a number of bars and local watering holes as well as Harrison Smith Park on the east side of town.
