Target two blocks away, 2 Safeway grocery locations and Whole Foods approximately 1 mile. Downtown Takoma Park and Silver Spring boast restaurants, farmer's markets, movies, and shopping mall. Rock Creek Park and Sligo Park are both close by with running, walking, hiking, and cycling trails. Small family with one dog living in the house above the apartment. We are often busy with school and work, though during the pandemic about half of that takes place at home. We love to cycle and run on the nearby trails in Rock Creek and Sligo Parks. We built in ample sound buffering between our first floor and the apartment, but due to the 1930’s charm you may still be aware when we are home or moving around during the day. Our dog will let you know if a delivery arrives. If you work nights and are a very light sleeper you should be aware that you could hear sounds of life above.
