Dos Lagos is a very small suburban area surrounded by canyons and valleys. The Shops at Dos Lagos is this quaint neighborhood’s greatest attraction, located on the historical site of the Temescal Tin Mines and the Butterfield State Coach Route. The community enjoys the shops for the wonderful retail, dining, and entertainment experience it provides residents and visitors. This place is amazing except for the parking can be rough when it seems like there are more cars than tenants. Also people park in front of their garages overnight which is annoying

I wouldn’t recommend living at Encanto at Dos Lagos, especially given the high rent prices that seem to follow Greystar’s notorious algorithmic pricing, making costs feel unjustified for what you get. The biggest issues: Constant Staff Turnover – Both management and maintenance teams change frequently, leading to disorganization and delays in resolving issues. Relentless Noise Pollution – The location is plagued by heavy road and freeway noise, making it hard to enjoy any peace, even with windows closed. Outdated & Poorly Maintained Units – The interiors feel dated, and appliances frequently break down, with repairs often slow or half-fixed. While the Dos Lagos area is nice, the apartment complex itself doesn’t live up to its premium pricing. Between the sky-high rent hikes, lack of stability in management, and constant maintenance headaches, it’s just not worth it.

I absolutely love living at Encanto Apartments! The layout of my 1 bedroom unit is fantastic, practical, and has all the appliances we needed, making it super convenient and comfortable. Moving in was a smooth experience, and I’m so happy to call this place home. The community here is nice and peaceful, creating a relaxing atmosphere that I really appreciate. Highly recommend!

Moved to Encanto a few months ago. Everything has been great! Grounds are kept clean and the staff is helpful and attentive. I’ve had two maintenance/repair related issues that were handled professionally.

The complex is nice however very expensive. The amenities are becoming poorly maintained. Valet trash does not pick up on the days they say they do so trash will pile up for days. Gates have been broken for months and one gate has been broken for years. Gutters and downspouts are not maintained. And there is very little parking so everyone parks in the fire lane which makes getting in and out of your garage very difficult.

If you are looking for an apartment community, that feels like home, Encanto is definitely where you want to be. Community is very clean, welcoming, and friendly. Endless shopping opportunities within walking distance and golf course along backside of community. Pets are welcome, with walkways throughout the community to take your four-legged babies on long walks. I highly recommend Encanto at Dos Lagos!

I love living at Encanto… the beautiful landscape is very well kept everything is watered and thriving. I love the pool area it’s always clean and the water is kept up very well! I love hearing the golfers from my front window and I love seeing the beautiful golf course when the trees loose their leaves …the tress have grown so much since I moved in almost 3 years ago. The creek that flows between the walkway and the golf course is full in the rainy season and it sounds so wonderful when you take a walk on the beautiful walkway down the golf course side. I have no complaints at all I don’t ever want to leave! Thank you

I’ve been living here at Encanto for over a year now .. I live in a Townhome with a garage. I love it! The grounds are beautiful at night it’s stunning with all the lights on.. taking a walk on the long long path along the now River… from all the rain is so Beautiful and the sound of the rushing water is amazing. The staff here has always been ready y to help me and they are very very nice. They have special days here also … Taco days and other events so you can socialize and meet your community I love it here ! I feel very safe the gates close before dark .., if you have a dog or 2 the nature path is excellent for walking and hanging out in the dog park. I highly recommend if your looking for luxury living and easy living you check Encanto out.

Expect maintenance to bandaid fix any issues addressed. Lived here for over a year and we’ve submitted our 5th work order for the same issue. The leaking disposal remains leaking.

The Business Center has no office equipment. You have to email your SENSITIVE docs the leasing staff to print the your docs or copy the docs. The Security company NEVER answers the phone and/or responds to voicemail messages. Nor, does security patrol the community. I've reported leaking puddling water on my kitchen floor in Summer 2022. It is February 2023 Maintenance has NOT responded. Mold has GROW beneath the kitchen sink and I am unbale to use the sink. My washing machine has been broken for 2 weeks and has yet to be repaired or replaced. The gates are always OPEN and/or broken. Yet, Greystar and/or the owners are continuously raising the rents to ASTRONOMICAL amounts!!!

The community is perfect, quiet, clean, and the view is awesome. Only missing one star due to extremely poor management. Parking situation is also an issue that needs a solution, but so far (3 weeks in) it hasn’t been as bad as I expected. Overall, the property is a solid 10/10.

Submitting work orders for maintenance is easy. If you have a emergency water leak do not expect them to come out and fix it. Expect them to arrive about noontime the following day to make any repairs. Also be prepared for half the work order to be completed.

My family and I love living here. Weve been here for five months. We love the beautiful community and surrounding areas. Staff has always been kind and professional. Parking can get crowded, but we havent really had any issues. Trash valet is nice to have and weve felt safe here. Id recommend living here.

The staff at Encanto has been super friendly and helpful through the entire process of finding the perfect unit and the move-in process. The community is beautiful, and Im completely impressed with the one bedroom floor plan!

I really enjoy living here for that past 3 yrs. Great always willing and helpful staff here.Convenient location. Apt complex clean, Gym , pool and lots of outdoor space . Close to grocery, shopping , hotel and entertainment .

I’ve been renting a 2 bedroom apartment here for 3 years now. The first 2 years were great minus the excessive power outages and my garage door not working half the time (wound up being the motor fixed this year). The office staff has gone downhill too. When we came here Rose, Jessica, Kathyuska and Peter handled any problems right away. They wound up leaving in 2019. Then in October of 2020 we got new neighbors below us. They were loud, smoked cigarettes and weed all the time. We complained several times to Management about the noise and smoking and they were finally evicted for breaking the lease agreement by being loud and smoking. Then came April 2021. We are now dealing with the same problem. Only they don’t smoke as much, but they are extremely loud. Louder than the last tenants and all the time! They have a surround sound system drilled into both walls and all we here day and night is the bass coming from their apartment. We complained at least 3 times so far and the office has not done anything about it. Disturbing your neighbors is a violation of your lease agreement un your neighbors rights to “Quiet Enjoyment”. These people obviously don’t work because it’s louder at night from 7:30pm to 11pm or even 1am. Then they have a dog that constantly barks all the time. It’s sad. We really enjoyed our time here up until October 2020. Since then we’ve had nothing but loud neighbors. If you rent here make sure you don’t get the top floor. You might get that neighbor that smokes or has their surround sound on the walls and you’ll get all that noise coming into your apartment ruining your right to “quiet enjoyment”. It really is depressing. This used to be my home. Now they want to charge $180 more a month for a 12 month lease and $200 more for month to month. This is what happens to good renters that complain I guess. That’s what we’ve been dealing with the last nine months here. Management and the others in the office need to step it up. You start letting people get away with being loud (lease violation) and disturbing good long term tenants right to quiet enjoyment, all you’re going to be left with is bad tenants and people won’t want to come here.

I have thoroughly enjoyed living at Encanto. Not only for its convenience to things to do, but the staff have been gracious, courteous and helpful whenever needed. The property is kept clean and the maintenance team is top notch.

Ive filled these out a few times since Ive been here, and all I can say is the parking availability is still horrible, and still have inconsiderate neighbors (mostly millennials) that play their loud music/tv at night (I guess mom and pops pay their rent because they dont seem to work) and some still smoke. Both violate the lease agreement. Most apartments crack down on these issues, but it needs to happen here.

Encanto is a beautiful place to live with open spaces and long walkways along the golf course. The dog park is our favorite part, it's spacious and always kept very clean.
Encanto is a beautiful living space. Its clean and well maintained. Staff are very professional and friendly and always helpful. Neighbors are very welcoming. Dog friendly with a great little dog park for my Sally to play. We love our new home!!
We are so touched by the beauty of Encando and feel so worthy to make it our new home! Service requests are handled timely that adds additional ease in our minds. Just wish Covid -19 go away soon so we can enjoy the beautiful pool and nice gym.
I have lived in luxury apartments in many different states and Encanto has been one of the best experiences. Free golf membership, monthly food trucks, gorgeous interior and exterior, gated community and a garage of my own! Typically with newer apartments you can hear your neighbors watching a movie but not at Encanto. It's a great complex that I recommend to friends continuously.
