Oak Creek is a suburban lakefront community just twenty minutes south of Downtown Milwaukee. With its close proximity to the larger city, low crime rate, and numerous high-performing public schools, Oak Creek serves as a highly popular home base for many Milwaukee commuters.
While mostly a residential community, there are a few large shopping centers positioned along Howell Avenue. This place is an absolute joke. It's half as good as the last place we lived, costs 3 times as much, and has only 1% of the service (and that's being generous). Seriously, we still have maintenance requests that have been in SINCE WE MOVED IN BACK IN JULY, that STILL to this day have not been touched. And don't even get us started on how hard it is to get into and out of (but mostly in) the building; and if you have so much as a couple bags to carry in (let alone, say, a heavy TV), God help you. We will not be renewing our lease, and we are actively encouraging people to stay away.

The apartment space itself is really great. The maintenance gets done in a pretty timely manner and I’ve had great communication from the leasing staff. The only issue is other neighbors that aren’t mindful or respectful of others and the shared space. For example, there are people who don’t clean up after their dogs so there are piles of dog poop all over. Or some neighbors or really loud at night even till 2 in the morning. It sucks because the space is nice but some people are inconsiderate.

Great place to live! Near grocery stores, restaurants, Dr.’s, Dentist, Beauty salon and library. Not far from the city. Drexel Town Square has many functions Spring, Summer and Fall. Beautiful lights for Christmas and New Years! Very walkable

The location is amazing. There’s so many events and things to do near the building. The nature area is great for walking and some of the restaurants around have discounts for residents! The apartment is up to date and clean, and management is pretty good at communication and throws plenty of events for the building.

The location, and staff make this place nice. The community however does the opposite. Certain areas on each floor have a general loudness or smell that is constant. With open layout in the public spaces allow the sounds to carry throughout the building at times. Police are here at least once a month due a complaint or they need to make an arrest. The overall “luxury living” is there, you just have to give them an arm and a leg to pay for it.

At first, we enjoyed living here. The location is ideal. You’ve got everything you need within walking distance. However as time has gone on, our experience has gone downhill. Especially this last year and even more recently, this past month. We’ve put in maintenance requests and have been waiting over 6 weeks. Our drier barely works and they won’t replace it. The pool furniture is old, dirty, broken and ripped and there are no umbrellas. The pool is dirty and the grills were old and barely worked. They removed the grills mid June with an “plan” to replace them but never replaced them leaving residents with nowhere to grill. This is not even close to “luxury” living like they claim. Don’t even get me started on the parking situation. They now all of a sudden decided to charge us monthly to park in the lots outside. The windows are dirty and they got them “cleaned” but they look even worse. Counting down the months until our lease is up.

The office replies really fast to things but there is so many little things within the building that I feel are overlooked it’s a beautiful building but the cleaning crew sucks and that takes away from the beauty

Very peaceful and welcoming! I love the proximity to the square and restaurants. The farmers market access is definitely a plus. The preserve provides the perfect setting for spectacular sunsets every day!

I've been living in this apartment for a while now, and it's been a great experience. The management is excellent, and the amenities are very good. There's a farmer's market right in front every Saturday, and plenty of great restaurants and coffee houses just around the block. The summer activities are fantastic, with something happening almost every week. The rooms are spacious and come with modern appliances, making them a great value for the price. Since moving here, I've rarely felt bored because there's always a festival or event going on, and the community is full of friendly, good people. Overall, it's a wonderful place to live.

Love it! Wish the amenities were upgraded and I was told the pool would be getting new furniture two years ago, but that never happened so the pool furniture is still unkept and dingy. Overall good experience.

Staff has been friendly and the apartments are well taken care off. Lots of activities all around the community within walking distance. Not to far off the highway making a safe bet for quick travel to work.
So far the apartment is great. The area is filled with places to eat and things to do. It has a walking path that is perfect for renters with dogs.

I have only been here for a couple days but the move in experience has been great! I had great energy from the beginning with Tony. He kept me informed of everything going on, responds quickly, and works hard to make sure everything went smoothly! Great place to live! Very walkable to grocery stores, Doctors, Dentist, vet, Library, Banks and lots of restaurants to choose from. The Drexel Town Sqaure is beautifully decorated for the Holiday season and always something going on every weekend during the summer. Emerald Row keeps the grounds well maintained and has a Scedule for changing batteries in smoke detectors, furnace filters, dryer vent cleaning also window washing (outside windows). Throughout the year Emerald Row invites their residents to breakfasts, dinners, movie night (outside), Easter Egg hunt and sometimes raffles off tickets to the Bucks games. The pool is kept clean as well. The staff is always happy to see you and addresses any concerns right away. I really like it here!

Good place to stay, lot of stores nearby. The parking situation needs serious improvements but rest, no complaints. Clean and neat apartments. Also, please be sure to get yourself a storage, because apartments don't have much storage.

Since moving in I have truly had a great experience! All the amenities are great and the communication with the staff is great. Also the location is perfect because it is super close to everything.
At the beginning Emerald Row was the place to be. Great views, solid, responsive staff…as the management changed and the new building went up the focus and effort moved to the shiny new toy. If you’re going to rent at a Lincoln Community in Oak Creek choose the parterre. The amenities are leaps and bounds better than what Emerald has and before you ask, no you cannot use them without an additional charge if you live in the “guest house” building
There’s Really nice people that live here and the aesthetic is beautiful too, I like that there’s events to attend if you’re able to and the package room makes life easier even though it tells me my package is here and it’s not but it does show up a few hours later. (I guess for sorting reasons or something)
From submitting an application to move-in was very fast. Mike kept me updated on the process almost daily and made it very easy for me! They have online apps to help with move-in, pay rent, and connect with the community
Everything has been great so far! Staff is very friendly and the building is kept very clean. Maintenance sometimes takes awhile to actually get to service orders but they are helpful when they finally do. Amenities are a nice plus as well.
Tony was super helpful and easy to communicate with and was always able to reach out and give me needed answers for my move in process… very friendly and personable… I’m excited to enjoy the amenities this place has to offer…..

Emerald Row is a great apartment complex. The buildings are wonderfully maintained, the community is quiet and Oak Creek is a great place to live.
Love every day living here. Such a lovely and dog friendly community. Very well maintained apartment complex. Feels fresh when you walk in the building every single time.
Apartment complex touts itself a "Luxury living" but continuously fails to live up to the title. Snow is often piled in empty parking spots during the winter reducing the capacity of the parking lot and the lack of ice removal has cuased me to slip and fall multiple times. The community grills are very beat up and are missing doors. The hallways often smell of weed and other stench. The walls are also not very thick so you can hear your neighbors. For an average apartment this place is not awful but when you are paying "luxury apartment prices" I expect the place to be a step above.
Been living here for almost 3 months now and I love it. Always clean and reminds me of a hotel in Florida. The managers are always on top of it with fixing any issues. Also the view from my balcony is great!
Me and my husband just moved from Chicago and we love the area and community. All of our necessities are close by and we are just so happy to be apart of!
It has been a good experience so far. Everyone we have met is very nice and we have felt welcomed. There are a lot of resources through the management company to report and get help with any apartment needs.

The area is fantastic and the apartment is spacious with lots of character! Neighbors are friendly and the views are beautiful.The only downside is the communication I have with the those who work at the leasing office. We were missed informed about our leasing contract many times and still can’t get the correct answers. It seems the leasing office don’t communicate with each other. We have been bending or backwards when it’s their job to have everything correct and ready to go for us to move in! This is why I am giving 2 stars due to the leasing office communication.
The office has always been good too us the team has been fast to respond good job team keep it up.. the maintenance team has been great with their response time.. the building looks great
Staff has been great! They have addressed issues quickly. had bad tenants experience with neighbors noise and weed smell that has been a problem. The immediate neighbor left and I’m praying for a better one and propers screening because I think the last one seemed that they may have been doing illegal activity with people coming and going sitting in the lot waiting with them running out and handing something to the vehicle. I don’t know if the skipped out and moved in the middle of the night or if they were evicted. Loud music and big foot upstairs, but other than that and limited storage it’s been decent.

I love it here! It’s an amazing community and management does a fantastic job keeping residents engaged and promoting community. Management also keeps everyone in the loop of any changes that may directly impact our living experience as residents.
Great experience so far. The community is great, the only things that can be improved are the game room and the theater room. Better access and better selection would be nicer.
