The Outer East and Northern part of South Bend is famous for being the location of the University of Notre Dame. Neighboring colleges include St. Mary’s, Holy Cross and Bethel College. The area can be found 4 miles north of downtown South Bend and 6 miles south of the Michigan/Indiana border.
The area remains a largely residential one, where college residents can easily find off-campus housing. The St. Joseph River cuts through the area, providing beautiful nature views and trails, and the city capitalizes on this by maintaining parks and providing outdoor activities for the community.

The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

Because the staff is great at being professional and knowledgable abount renting needs, they are great at caring about their tenets social and community concerns. From top to bottom the staff listens and really hear you. Specifically, Latoshia the administrative assistant takes great care of your rental needs.
it is nice but not coinvent to city bus. its 1 mile. im looking for a 2 bed room in ft.wayne ,in so i can be near the va hosiptal .
I have been living in this apartment for 4 months and hate it. I have 2 young children and I always see bugs. I have had to have it exterminated. I hate the exterior of this apart. I have nasty neighbors. I can't wait to get out of this apartment.
We've lived here for about a year and a half and have never had a complaint. Management is great, always making sure everyone is happy, and keeping the community involved. They play bingo every week to win a discount on rent, they have coffee and donuts each month, we have a community garden going right now, and they even giveaway tickets to local events from time to time. Maintenance is great as well! They respond to calls quickly and know what they're doing. They have a policy where if they don't respond in 48 hours, they discount your rent the next month. There's also a great program to refer others to live there. If you get someone to move in they'll discount your next rent by almost half off! The only complaint I have is that it's not that close to my work and I'm happy that's the only complaint I have
Drove out there to look at an apartment because one was available I was told. Upon arrival, I was asked to wait. After 5 minutes I was asked to step into the office and a gal proceeded to tell me there is nothing available. The community didn't look right for me. Not sure what type of community.
