Property Ratings at Emerald Isle
First they charge you twice for water and gas when using washer and dryers. You pay to use them and then the gas and water they use are added to the utility bills every month. They will raise your rent higher than what they charge new tenants. ACs are so loud you will need to add speakers to your TV to hear it. Trash bins are always full. They allow outside people to use them. Security gates always broke. Lived there a year and half and the outside sprinklers leak the whole time. Water they add to utility bill. People let their pets go everywhere and never clean it up. Saw one guy let his dog go in the hallway and did nothing about it. If you don't pay for parking good luck finding a spot. Appliances are old. Cabinets in kitchen and bathroom are cheap. Counters are cheap laminate. They need to remove the luxury.
In the past year and a half we received a new manager and the amenities and upkeep of the property have gone downhill. She has canceled many programs just to save money. She doesn't keep the "heated" pool at a constant temperature and many maintenance issues are overlooked. She is rude and disrespectful to the residents and her staff is clearly afraid of her. Many residents are moving out because of her. Although many of us have called the management company (Mesa Management)to complain,they do nothing to help. Considering how expensive the apartments are, do yourself a favor and rent somewhere else! Their sister property in Fountain Valley doesn't have any of these problems! I guess that's why Emerald Isle currently has so many vacancies.
This is a Senior Citizen Community with breathtaking grounds. Fountains, Flowers, Bunnies, Squirrels, Skunks and Birds of all kinds. including a few late night owls to hoot! If you like to watch the Sunsets and Fireworks at night then this is the place to be. Why watch Golf on T.V. when you have it just off your Balcony. Bus trips to the Casino's and shopping. Wine and Dine dinner nights and lots of activities, cards, dancing, bingo. This is for the active senior citizen.
Luxury? Tranquility? We’ve got it! Convenient shopping? It’s right out your door!! Activities? Yep, bingo, cards and so much more! No matter what shape you’re in enjoy the pool and gym. Coffee, donuts and hot dogs too! And a cake to welcome you! Dining not whining - a fun trip for sure. A golf course with trees your eyes will be pleased. Too much for you? No problem there, stay home with your pet whose welcome here!
