Property Ratings at Elm Estates
The maintenance crew is great, they have been working hard to carry this place the last year or so as the management seems to not care in the least. The former manager was rude and didn’t seem to care. They seem to be in a state of flux at this time as there are many billing and rent payment issues. Hopefully they can get their act together office wise as we like it here and have a good rapport with the guys who maintain the complex.
I loved living at Elm Estates. My husband and I lived there 2013-2018. The community is safe, the people are kind, and the area is great for walking. The townhomes are an excellent size, we never heard our neighbors, and we loved having a walk-in closet and yard space to play with our dog or eat dinner outside. We were thrilled with how responsive maintenance was (though we rarely needed them), and Barbara was always a pleasure to deal with. We couldn’t have asked for a better place to start out and only left because we purchased a home.
Absolutely loved living in Elm Estates! We felt very safe and the area is very quiet. The townhomes have a great layout as are very spacious. The staff is very kind and customer/tenant oriented. We move very often due to work and Elm Estates was very kind and so reasonable with their pricing. We will definitely be moving back if we are relocated to the Albany area again.
My wife and I lived in Elm Estates for three years and loved it. Our apartment was spacious and clean and it was great to find a place with both a backyard and a garage. It's only a short ride into town for shopping and groceries too. The property and grounds were well maintained by the staff and they were very friendly and quick to help. I was extremely happy to call Elm Estates my home and would still be there if new jobs didn't take us out of state. I have and will continue to recommend this property to anyone looking to live in the area!
My husband and I had spent a lot of time going from complex to complex to find a new apartment. When we got to Elm Estates I was pleasantly surprised to see how much yard space the apartments came with. After seeing a few apartments with the manager we decided to take one of their duplexes. Honestly, I couldn't be happier. Not only is our unit spacious, but we also have tons of room outside to spread out. We never hear any noise from our neighbors, and tend to even forget we are on a rental property. I would totally recommend this property to everyone (unless your going to mess up our peace and quiet).
Private, quiet, spacious, affordable, child and pet friendly. Homey, comfortable, and clean. Responsive landlord. 20 minutes to everything in Albany. A truly rare find!
