It's wonderful to live in a community within a larger community and to be able to walk so many places within the two communities.

I left California & arrived to SC about 2 years ago. Right from the start I was sure this was the apartment made for me. The community is always clean, & the team are always helpful, and kind. And I am happy that I just signed for my 3rd lease! Thank you Element Carolina Bay!

I had a very bad experience with another rental property when I first moved to South Carolina. I had a U-Haul truck full and had no place to live. When I showed up at the office of Element Carolina Bay they greeted me with professionalism and a smile and told me they would help me get into a unit that day. Absolutely wonderful office staff! Samantha saw me outside and come out to remind me to get my Mother's Day goody box. So many cute boxes to choose from! I really appreciate the staff and the hard work they do to relate to the residence and keep the property looking lovely.

Carolina Bay is a safe and quiet community. Unfortunately with construction of a new subdivision next door. I'm not sure how long this will last.

Element in Carolina Bay is a beautiful place to live and enjoy life. Centered close to the airport, shopping centers and 15 mins from the peninsula with its rich history of Charleston, along with its close proximity to 3 ocean beaches.

Went and did a walk tour of the apartment complex and the grounds. The area is very well maintained and the staff were very friendly. Neighbors even said hi and seemed to really enjoy their environment. Inside of the apartments were clean and well maintained. Looking forward on the next step moving in.

I recently had the pleasure of touring this complex, and I must say, I was thoroughly impressed. The facilities are top-notch, and the location is ideal. But what really stood out was the exceptional service provided by Sam in the office. Her professionalism and attention to detail truly made the experience memorable. I highly recommend this complex to anyone looking for a fantastic place to call home!

I've been here almost a year. I came from California where everything is a mess. What an amazing difference here at Element Carolina Bay. It was quite a surprise deference in comparance to CA, where I've lived there most of my life. There's a beautiful, caring. special difference I've never whitness before. Makes me happy.

I loved living at Element Carolina Bay! It was a beautiful community that I miss terribly. I may be a bit biased, but I know the team did all they could to make Element a great place to call home. I loved the sense of community Element fostered as well. 10/10 would recommend!

Element has been a great place to live. From having a traffic light to get into the community, to a caring office staff and a knowledgeable maintenance staff. The layouts of the different apartments are efficient. The community is clean and quiet.

This community is the best I have ever lived in. All the staff, office and maintenance, are approachable, professional, interested in the needs of the residents, and friendly. Maintenance requests are addressed same or next day. Activities for residents include food trucks, potluck dinners, arts and crafts experiences and wellness experiences. There is a well-equipped gym, swimming pool, and barbecues. Resident input is sought and welcomed for all community activities. The neighbors are friendly and welcoming. The layout of the community is such that you feel you are living in a neighborhood, instead of living in an apartment complex. Love living here!

I've moved here at Element Carolina Bay about a year go. The office staff. management & service teams are seriously the best. They're kind, helpful, & always available.They show how much they want to help & care for the residents. Not only that, but you can be sure they're not only truly caring, they're also happy & love their jobs.

I highly recommend this community. All it takes is seeing the clean, beautiful apartments & lovely surroundings to know this is the place you'll want to live. But it doesn't stop there. It's the caring service team, office manager & leasing agents, that put it all together, making sure everything is handled the minute you move in.

Beautiful, quiet neighborhood. The complex is always trying to get the residents together with group activities. We even have food trucks a couple times a month that are delicious. I love the area and highly recommend it to folks.

Element Carolina Bay is a wonderful location in Charleston. We are close to everything and you can't beat the wonderful weather. The folks here at Element work hard and we appreciate them.

Wonderful place to live, lots of community activities (if you desire), wide range of age groups, readily accessible walking paths, beautifully landscaped and well maintained. Quiet and friendly atmosphere and the buildings are surrounded by trees and ponds so that you don’t have the feeling that you’re jammed up against each other.

Last few months the property has sunk, for example 4 hours of nonstop noise from gardners, and a new dump built right outside our door where they leave old appliances and people running businesses out of their garages blocking the drive in and out every single day and strangers allowed to penetrate the property resulting in robberies. The maintenance manager has been caught lying to and about us multiple times and find we are not alone suffering from improper maintenance and dealing with a liar, there are people living in the parking lot in campers and commercial vehicles which where never allowed are now everywhere. It's gone from a high end resort life to a seedy and low life atmosphere and environment. We do not recommend living here. Our peaceful community and lives have been uprooted by unintelligent and untrustworthy people in jobs they should not have. There are many other better choices in this area with mature and friendly management who maintain an upright and quiet community for the tenants. We're not renewing and have already put a deposit down on a new rental close by that offers a far better quality of life.

We've had several issues to deal with while living here and find the maintenance lead lacks ambition to actually fix anything correctly. We always have to hire someone to come in or make repairs ourselves. Management is a revolving door and it only gets worse and worse and the new one is very intrusive, and marginally aggressive. We're seeking legal advice at this juncture. It was a great place to live but has become a horrible environment and not at all as peaceful and exclusive as it once was. Poor choice of managers.

After owning my own homes for the past 50 years I was a little hesitant about living in an apartment.This is a lovely apartment community, beautifully landscaped, wonderful walking paths, pet friendly and plenty to do within this community. The staff are friendly and always ready to answer questions or help.So happy to be living here and plan to extend my lease.

I can honestly say my time at Element was great. Friendly staff, great community and lots of engagement from management. There is although a few draw backs. The parking at certain buildings is out of control, meaning people park wherever they want (handicap, fire lanes, in front of garage doors) along with vehicles with no license plates that sit there for months. Lastly, dogs off the leashes, my dogs was attacked by our neighbors dog and have seen other dogs off leash! They definitely take care of the community in terms of looks, but need to improve on controlling the residents.

Great location, I love being near the walking trails and Greenway! The porches are spacious.

I've been a resident of Element Carolina Bay for 2 months. Starting with the Leasing Consultant, the Manager, & the Service Team, I've received nothing but great service. My questions get answered on time & clearly. The grounds are kept up very professionally & beautiful. I'm happy to be a resident here.

Don’t rent here! The portions of your lease that protect you and your quiet enjoyment are not enforced by management

Carolina Bag is one of the better apartments in West Ashley. But sometimes the maintenance and team can slack. It’s hard to get to a person because they leave 1 hour before the sign says they close. Also maintenance doesn’t update very well. We have also had several different trash vendors this year because they keep doing terrible jobs.

When I first moved in, everything here was great and I loved it. But it’s gotten worse with every new management/maintenance team. I pay a lot to live here and I’m going on day 3 without air conditioning in the middle of South Carolina summer and no one who works here seems to care. I know of a few other neighbors who have been screwed over by the maintenance department recently too. They won’t get to a problem, or they’ll lie and say they fixed it, then are kind of rude when you say you called someone else to fix it. I honestly can’t wait to be able to move out.

Element Carolina Bay is great community that is well maintained. The management and maintenance staff are very professional, helpful, and considerate!

This is a great place to live! It’s beautiful, well-maintained and they care about all tenants and their right to peaceful enjoyment of their apt home. We love it here.
