Steeped in history and unique culture, Baltimore is among America’s most culturally-rich cities. Centuries spent as a major port city have contributed to a diverse mix of influences, resulting in the eclectic range of food and art found in Baltimore today. The relatively compact layout of the city makes life a bit easier for pedestrians and cyclists — it also means that, even though the city is home to over 600,000 people, it retains the feel of a much smaller community. The city’s neighborhoods display a huge degree of variety, ranging from rowhouses to high-rise apartments to charming suburban subdivisions.
It’s an excellent city for sports fans, with the Orioles and the Ravens representing Baltimore in the big leagues. The arts community is quite active in Baltimore as well, largely thanks to the Maryland Institute College of Art and the huge Artscape festival that draws thousands every May.

Property Ratings at Edmondson Commons
I CURRENTLY live in this building. When I first moved in, it was quiet and people were respectful, clean, and the building was kept up. Just before Covid I saw the first roach. Never saw them before. Would have moved sooner, but Covid hit and knocked me back financially. Yes, the rent is low but you’ll pay for it in loud weed smoking neighbors. Not to mention the mice and roach infested areas (back of the building, trash room). I never saw a mouse till Covid. Now they are everywhere and trying to get in everything. Even the windows. The trash area is utterly disrespectful, inside and outside. The 1st floor smells awful when they don’t take out the trash regularly. There is a new building owner and leasing manager. The leasing manager tries, but this place could be much better. There are 4 floors with only 4 washers and dryer’s for the ENTIRE building on the 1st floor. I suggest you go somewhere else to wash your clothes?? If you want inexpensive, that’s exactly what you will get. This place was what I needed when I needed a place. Well, it’s not the case anymore. If you value yourself, your health and well-being, I suggest you look somewhere else I am!
This by far the worst place I’ve EVER lived. It is poorly built, but more importantly it is very poorly run. The building is run down and in need of major repair. The rent is rather cheap, but then again for the area in my opinion it’s way overpriced. You can hear water running through the walls from pipes I’m assuming. Most importantly the level of noise from my neighbors makes the apartment for me unlivable it literally sounds like there’s thunderstorms 24 hours a day at night it almost seems that someone is breaking into your home. It is horrible here please don’t waste your time it is for the poor and impoverished. The worst thing is trying to get to sleep finally falling asleep and waking up to loud noise that shakes your entire apartment but the noise is coming from upstairs or your neighbor right beside you. You hear yelling and screaming all night long children running all night long.I could go on but you get the picture if you wanna safe peaceful place and sanitary conditions don’t move here.
