This apartment has bug infestations, hot water problems, and will go out of their way to rip you off.
Do not move in here. I was lied to by a leasing agent about construction next door. They straight up lied to my face on several conditions about the apartment, ongoing construction, other tenants. Instead of doing anything honorable and helpful, they simply resorted to saying, "well better get your move out papers started." A process that nets them about thousands of dollars. And I have been here 1 month so far. So this must be how they treat tenants. Lie, say anything you can to get them in the door, then sweep them under the rug, and hope they move out so they can collect a lease cancellation fee. Scumbags, unhelpful, dishonorable, I would not recommend anyone move here.
Eaves is filled with great staff and the building itself is really nice. I love to see the dedication from all the Eaves workers from the leasing office to custodial and maintenance. Everyone is friendly and works so hard to keep these apartments up. We have had a few break-ins to our USPS mailboxes (like 3 times in one month). The good side is that the staff alerts us right away, the bad side is, it happened several times. I loved how close it was to grocery stores; however, recently the stairs which lead over the bridge have become riddled with trash, human feces, and layers of dried mud. I decided to only use them during the day if absolutely necessary, but they were a great amenity when I first moved in.

The apartment itself is extravagant. Not only do you have the convenience of a pool, gym, enclosed garage, washer/dryer,great common areas to entertain guest but by far the the most polite and friendly community office and maintenance personnel. The community is very pet friendly. I personally have never experienced a quieter or more well maintained community. Twenty four hr. Maintenance service and secure online means of managing/paying bills. By far the most appealing aspect of my current apartment is its location. Boasting close proximity to Griffith park, Atwater village, Silver lake Echo park and Los Feliz. Adventure is literally a stones throw away. Great restaurants, night life, Wildlife, jogging hiking ect. Access to the I-5, 110, I-2 and 134 just outside your door. Ideal and affordable
Management is ok, security could be A LOT better, we had a couple of break-Ins and also 2 unidentified couple stole the community mail just 2 weeks ago. I live away from the more accessible areas and never had problems but, being worried that it could happen to you...not worth it. Rent price is standard 1800-2000 for a 1b 1b. Central AC is a big plus for me. Accessible to major fwys. I would renew my lease but, just increased 300 from initial rent...moving to a rent controlled place.
