Property Ratings at Easton
It's convenient and upgraded. Lots of shopping centers and food places. CLOSE TO THE COLLEGE AS WELL SO ITS PERFECT.
I was scheduled to move in but unable to move because of having to move back home to care for my elderly parents. I notified them two months in advance that I would not be able to move. I understood that I would have to forfeit my security deposit. In addition they charged me a full first month's rent for an apartment that I never lived in and am certain they were able to rent to someone else. The circumstances warranted compassion and they showed none. In addition they are not allowing me to make payments via the portal which is an added stress in addition to my caregiving responsibilities. I do not recommend doing business with such an uncaring company. A very bad experience.
I have been living here for about 4 years and don’t find my self leaving anytime soon. I love the apartments and the appliances in the home. They are always upgrading and making improvements to the property. The staff is very accommodating and helpful! They take communication seriously and do their best to make sure service request are answered timely and communicate when something will be delayed.
I have been living around 3 months, and since the begin, the a/c unit has not worked correctly, I set the temperature to 75 and never got less than 77 degrees, it can be on all day long and It won't reach that temperature. Maintenance has come and they 'fixed it' but still does not work, thanks to that I have to pay 160 bucks of electricity. Not happy
I have been living at 6033 De Zavala for 18 years, its the best place I have live in San Antonio. Every thing is in arms length, Walmart, HEB, Sams, Coscos, Gas Stations, Furniture stores, Endless restaurants, just name it we got it. Access to I 10 freeway within a mile, 410 and 1604 very close. About the apartments the building is well kept, staff is very very nice, beautiful pool with plants and flowers well kept. When you have a service request the respond is within 24hrs. I just love living here every thing is beautiful.
Came from student housing to here. Defiantly quiet, beautiful landscaping! Staff and maintenance is awesome!!!
I live next to a crack head and across from an animal abuser, whose dog is in a cage on the porch almost every day for many hours after multiple complaints. I can't tell you how many times my daughter has almost been hit by one of the psychos (who they exclusively rent to apparently) driving way too fast at night. There is always noise. Half the people who live here are trashy and rude and inconsiderate. The other half must hide because I'm sure they exist, but I've never had the pleasure of experiencing a decent nieghbor. We pay 3 times as much as the last apartment I lived in and the difference in quality is non existent. The only saving grace is the maintenance crew. They are quick, polite, and go the extra mile. Other than that, I have talked many friends and family out of leasing here. There are cheaper apartments with better living experience in the area! DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY!
The sound isolation is terrible!!! You can hear every step of your neighbor. I can sleep only with earplugs(but not always). Before moving in I was told that it's very silent there and they would resolve all the problems related to this matter. That's NOT true. We complained about this problem for 1 month but no results. NOBODY can resolve your problem. Told me to wait until the neighbor moved out. I wouldn't have moved here if I had known about it. No private life here. I don't recommend Monterra apartment complex for quiet and peaceful living.
I moved onto this property about 6 months ago and absolutely LOVE it! I love all of the trees and wildlife around! The property is super quiet and my neighbors are awesome! They have a fitness center that can be accessed 24 hours a day, I always see people in there but never have a problem getting on any of the equipment. They also have a "training" class every Wednesday which is nice to mix it up! The property is so large I can run in the morning and not have to go onto De Zavala if I don't want to. If I choose to there are nice trails right down the street! The office staff is really nice and helpful and maintenance is quick to respond to any issues that I may have. There are grills throughout the property (both grass and charcoal) I haven't had time to use them but appear to be cleaned regularly. I have been to three resident events so far - FREE food is good. I would recommend this property to any of my friends! Great location!
Stay away from Monterra Apartments at all costs! We have had issues since our move in. Stray cats everywhere! Residents feed the cats and even name them. We have complained about the cats time and time again and yet they are still there being fed almost a year later. The front gate breaks several times a month. You have to drive around to the other side of the complex to use the back gate. It continues to break down and all they do is get it running again just for it to break down. Replace it! We have received notices about four times since we moved in about break ins on property. Cars and even apartments have been broken into. Management's solution is to have a rent a cop drive through the complex once a night. If you are a resident, chances are you won't be able to use the pool during the summer. Parties take over the whole pool area even though there is a limit of two guests per resident. The bathtubs are cheap and peel apart. Maintenance came and "fixed" it which left us unable to use it for 48 hours. We followed all cleaning instructions they gave us and it is peeling again in just a matter of months. The list goes on. AC issues, additional time and money spent by us after following their instructions.... STAY AWAY!!
monterra has new management, new upgrades. Fixing a lot of things but taking long on numerous things. Pool and workout room taking forever to get done. Quiet place not many disturbances. Great place for a quiet seeking person.
The manager is so sweet and really cares and helps with personnal issues like. Everything is beautiful and the grounds are like living in a Park with a pool and Gym.
