Property Ratings at Eagle Rock 1
This place has been getting gradually worse under the management of Capvest. They bring in gross people that smoke in the buildings violating the lease. They do nothing about it. The whole building smells like weed. Snow removal sucks.
I live here and I have to say the winter snow removal in the parking lot has been a big problem for after 1 am workers. It is very hard to come home from work, and to find a foot of snow at the entrance of the driveway. The apartment complex needs better snow removal.
Landlord is so nice and will help when he can, or however he can! He’s honestly the main reason I stayed this last year. The apartments are not horrible they are good for college kids and just for your first apartment
My fiancé and I had lived in this apartment for about 6 months in 2016. Overall our unit wasnt too bad. The windows were new, so that was a plus. But my biggest issues with this apartment was that the water in the kitchen and bathroom would only heat up after about 20 minutes of being on. This was very inconvenient for showers and doing dishes. We contacted the apartment managers several times due to this issue but it was never resolved. There is no dishwasher and the kitchen is rather small compared to the living area. There is no air conditioning and the key used to open the door to the building is the same one used to get into your unit. Meaning every unit has the same lock, which made me feel rather unsafe. The hallways were never cleaned while I lived here. Garages are not available though a small space in the grimy basement is included in rent. There was only one washer and dryer per 4 units. Great price and location, but overall I did not enjoy living here.
My wife and I have lived in this apartment owned by Applegate Property Management for about a year and a half now. The biggest perk is the price we pay for a 2 bedroom apartment with all utilities included. The bedrooms aren't incredibly big, with a queen size bed in one we have just enough space for a walking path around it. The kitchen is no bigger than the average walk-in closet. Also for some reason there is a 4 foot tall dividing wall separating the kitchen space from the hallway to the bedrooms, making it seem even more cramped. You are also provided with a 10x10 foot storage space in the basement. It is little more than a couple pallets closed in by chicken wire walls in a dirty concrete basement, but it serves its purpose. Also there is onsite washers and dryers for a dollar to wash and a dollar to dry. The administration is not very organized, but when they have made mistakes regarding rent they are quick to fix them when brought to their attention. Overall it has been a good apartment for my wife and I for the time we live in this area.
