Located just off Highway 183 in North Austin, our two conveniently located communities are a stone’s throw away from the city’s major thoroughfares, such as Interstate 35 and MoPac Expressway. Better yet, Dryfield Apartments & Studios are both two miles north of The Domain, 304 acres of upscale retail, restaurants, a nine-acre park, and so much more. Mueller, a similar concept to The Domain, which boasts parks, retail, and restaurants, is also five miles south of our two communities. North Austin encompasses several smaller neighborhoods on the north side of downtown. These include Georgian Acres, North Lamar, Walnut Forest, Eubank Acres, Oak Ridge, and several others. North Austin extends from the intersection of I-35 and Highway 183 north to Scofield Ridge Parkway. Those choosing rentals in North Austin can use I-35 or the Mopac Expressway to quickly reach Downtown Austin, and bus service is readily available.

Property Ratings at Dryfield Studios
There seems to be no option for zero stars. My AC was constantly broken. The building was sold at some point and the new management company (really a one-woman-show) was abrasive and rude. After living there for over six months, I came back from coffee with a friend and my car was being towed! No notice, no reason given. My friend and I had to pay the tow truck $150 just to remove it from the truck. Management NEVER paid me the $150 back because I didn't have an "invisible" car sticker (which didn't exist) and even after I showed proof of putting my year, make and model on my lease. Best advice, avoid at all costs.
This location is close all the major thoroughfares in North Central Austin. The neighborhood is quite and the interiors look great. The new ownership has really turned this into a great place to live.
