A northwestern suburb of Detroit, Farmington is a small city with big opportunities and charm. Community traditions and jointly-operated programs often bring Farmington and neighboring Farmington Hills together, but Farmington is known for its downtown area in particular. Specialty shops and tasty eateries populate downtown in addition to Riley Park, which hosts an annual summer concert series called Rhytmz in Riley Park. Farmington Civic Theater is also located in Downtown Farmington, showing modern films in a historic cinema.

Property Ratings at Drakeshire
I’ve lived in this community for several years now, and I’ve had a great experience overall. The office staff is always friendly and communicates well, and the maintenance team is quick and efficient when it comes to resolving any issues that come up. I’m also really happy that Lisa is back managing this location things have been running so smoothly since her return! It’s nice to live somewhere where the staff truly cares about the residents and the property.
My little family has really enjoyed living at Drakeshire. We love the amenities and our neighbors are considerate. Close to school and everything else you need!
I would highly recommend living at Drakeshire to anyone; single, couples and families. The apartments are spacious, huge windows, very well lit, large and lots of closets, big bathroom and bathtub, great central heat/air, clean, continuous renovation from tree trimming to re-striping the parking, excellent landscaping and pre-emptive snow/ice removal. Aside from the apartment, the neighbors are lovely, the clubhouse is fantastic and open 24hrs with a sauna! Key fob, well lit, and great community so you always feel safe no matter what time it is to use the clubhouse. It is next to literally everything, so you can actually enjoy walking and not driving. The office team and superintendents - specifically Lisa and Stefan are the most welcoming and wonderful people, imagine a community where you wave in cars and stop to chat, that's Drakeshire.
I've lived at Drakeshire for 2 years. I appreciate that everything is kept clean, pretty and very well maintained. I had 2 maintenance needs and they were both taken care of the same day I called them in - which I was very happy with. I really like living at Drakeshire and the people who work here are all great!
I have lived here for four years and have never had any issues with the staff. The manager here is always friendly and very helpful as is the leasing agents. When i have any issues they are taken care of in ample time. I love the gym it is well maintained. The property is well maintained clean and I do like living here
I've lived at Drakeshire for 3 years. I have to move out of state for my job and would like to thank the staff for the outstanding service. I'll miss you guys. Thanks for everything.
This place is filthy, old, smells, lots of bugs, rent office ppl are rude and worthless. Takes months before maintenance come out and they don’t fix anything only patch it up to work a few days then you’re back to calling in for repairs. Lisa in rent office incompetent she is the manager and lives in complex horrible job running this place
Nice and quite place downtown Farmington. Good neighbors and it's very close to all the free ways in the area. They have an outside and inside pool, gym and they are always helping the residents.
