West of I-410, Crown Meadows sits about 10 miles from Downtown San Antonio. This neighborhood has plenty of entertainment options, from buzzing local restaurants and popular sports bars to tourist hot spots as well.
Renters enjoy an incredible mix of homes and apartments packed into this moderately-sized neighborhood. Locals gather at spots like Fast Eddie’s Billiards for popular pool tournaments and late-night bites. There’s a number of locally owned taco shops all around Crown Meadows, as well as all the requisite chain restaurants and big-box stores. Ingram Park Mall is just a few minutes to the northeast. There’s plenty of upscale stores and a move theater to enjoy in this convenient shopping center.
Thanks to the nearby Interstates, those who work in the city are just a short drive from work and home, making this a fantastic community well within the network of the Alamo city.

Property Ratings at Doral Club Apartments
Just recently moved in. I really like my apartment very well maintained
Older property but as long as you put in work orders for your issues and talk to management they will be taken care of. Beautiful pools.
Be aware of leasing office staff. Rude and are snakes. In December I had my car broken into overnight (At this complex). Which my wallet and other things were stolen. Which made me late on my rent(My fault entirely) wish they had security. When I went to pay the leasing manager kept leaning on the renters agreement clause which lets them refuse payments. Which led to more late fees. Just seems like a way for them to keep adding fees until they are ready to take payment. “RACKET”
Bug problems and we just moved here in September...
Far from an exceptional apartment community. You will be shown a model in perfect condition and then get keys to an aging apartment with multiple maintenance issues. Issues that are fixed only if you follow up and specify that you want the issue you reported repaired. We have leaks that were reported twice, but have not seen any repair work and there are outlets and switches that just don't work. Entry gates for the "gated access" are always open because they have been broken more than working since we moved here. There is constantly trash around the complex. The one good thing I will say is that they do host 1-2 activities a month if you can make it during the posted time for the events.
Its an okay place to live. The residents are very nice but the apartments have a lot of a/c problem such as water leaking from the ceiling.
It wouldn't be so bad here, except recently all the lights have been changed out for super bright LEDs right above the apartment windows. It feels like living in a megamart parking lot or a prison facility. It used to be very charming around the pool in the evenings, but now I dread being home at night. I can't wait to leave.
I have lived in the complex for over a year now and within that year the water has been shut down about 4 times and the parking lot has been repaved twice. During the time that the lot was being repaved they had to cut off rotating sections of the parking lot over a 2 week period. This was a nightmare! This left so many residents without a place to park. Residents had to park along the fire lanes behind one another,(not to mention the complex threatened to tow those who were parked there) People had to even park in the apartment complex next door! Unbelievable! Now they are fixing the railroad along the lot as well and that hasn't been a walk in the park either. It always boils my blood when I have to read the end of all of the notices at the end, “We are sorry for the inconvenience” I understand that this is an older complex and they would like for it to appear modern and kept up but this is so inconvenient. On a positive note the staff is nice and the maintenance is always quick and gets the job done and I have never had an issue with neighbors. The complex is always clean and I love that the pool is always kept up as well. The main issue is the parking and the management.
