Doral Apartments

I'm thoroughly impressed with Doral Apartments! The amenities are top-notch, and the apartments are clean and spacious. But what truly sets this complex apart is the exceptional management team, particularly May. She's always responsive, friendly, and goes above and beyond to ensure residents' needs are met. Her dedication and professionalism make living here a breeze. I feel at home and appreciate the effort she puts into creating a wonderful community. Highly recommend!

I have lived at Doral apartments for almost two years and I will not be renewing my lease. Any maintenance request you have will not be addressed adequately. My dishwasher broke and was flooding my kitchen and I had to wait nearly two weeks until it was addressed. The price is not worth the hassle.

Doral is an incredible property. I’ve been living here 3 months now and absolutely love it. Every maitenance issue is fixed very quickly, the grounds are very clean, and there’s a beautiful park right behind the property. The rent is a great price compared to other places in the area. This is the place to be.

If you value location then move out here. But, the price isn’t worth it. These are not high end apartments/luxury apartments. There are waaaay better options around the area. Old pool. Apartments use to flood so water bugs are everywhere even in renovated apartments. The floors are uneven. Squeaky. The apartment is a nice size but once again the price isn’t worth it at all.

If possible I would rate this a 4.5, but if I had to choose it is a 5! Doral Apartments may not have hardwood floors, stainless steel appliances, or a deluxe clubhouse, but you will not find a better apartment or community for such a great price! Doral has kept all the "must-haves" of an excellent apartment community: - pet friendly living! - great staff and maintenance crew - roomy and well-kept cute apartments - included dishwasher - included individual apartment W/D - on-site pool - on-site enclosed area for dogs - AFFORDABLE rent Doral has cut the unnecessary fluff that other apartment complexes use to bump rent prices: exuberant kitchen appliances, high-end hardwood floors, flashy outdoor decorations, or a barely-used clubhouse. While they have used their natural features and location to enhance the living experience at no cost to renters: - located next to a huge field, great for running, biking, and playing - through the field is a lovely neighborhood park, equipped with two playgrounds, a covered picnic area and grill, an outdoor ping-pong area, and a Frisbee golf set-up - only a walk to the Elizabeth and Plaza Midwood neighborhoods and a short drive to Uptown. The community at Doral is wonderful and we feel very lucky to have found this complex! [Been living at Doral 7/2014 - Present]

Doral Apartments live up to their commitment. Clean, well maintained apartments that comes with excellent services. Not far from from Central Ave., and Uptown with great restaurants and taverns for all foodies. Not far from a Park which is great for children and pets. Also close enough to enjoy the nightlife of the Uptown, but retains its family community atmosphere.They keep the pool area for family fun, and we even have a pavilion for private gatherings. Doral Apartments also tries to keep the community active with events throughout the year. I love Doral Apartments because I am only four minutes from work.

I've lived here for years, left twice just to keep coming back because the Doral is so awesome. The neighbors, management, you can have large dogs, great staff, respond quickly to maintenance issues, great location & price. It's not upscale or glamourous but it sure is a great place to live with nicely remodled apartments, well maintained grounds and each unit has a washer & dryer.

Doral Apartments is a great place to live. I've lived here for four years and feel safe day or night for someone my age. They have a great staff. And last but very important is the fact that Doral is very Dog Friendly. I love that about them.

Safe? Yes! Affordable? I have 3 beds 2 baths all under 850 Location? Look, uptown! Decor? Management really makes things look nice before you move in. No crud left from previous tenants. Management? Great! They really care about you and take care of things fast Overall? A great place!

Apartment searching is not exactly the most fun thing to do. I would know, my husband and I spent two full days, back in June 2013, all over the city of Charlotte trying to find an apartment. We searched and searched and just when we thought we were going to have to settle on a complex that we weren't too keen on, we found a listing for Doral Apartments. The funniest thing about Doral is that we had driven past it at least twice in our two day search, and didn't even notice it...hence "Hidden Gem." The complex is set back off the main road, which is lovely, it is a quite community with super friendly neighbors. The pool, pavilion and dog park are fabulous features. There is a sweet park behind the complex, great to take a walk to as well. Even though you're only a five minute drive to Uptown, it is quiet and has lots of greenery. What drew us to the complex: PET friendly! That's a big deal, because some places look at you like you have two heads if you have two pets! We are so happy to have such features as a gorgeous brick wall, a spacious balcony (or patio for downstairs apartments), washer, dryer and dishwasher are all included and without an extra fee! There are people of all age groups here, young couples, older folks, families with children. Often you'll see a group of kids, varying in age all playing together and riding their bikes, it reminds me of being in a neighborhood, and well, it is! I try to encourage all my friends who are looking for a new place to check out Doral, and some have already joined us in the complex! It is a very inviting and affordable place to live!

For the past two years, my wife and I have lived at Doral Apartments nearby the Chantilly and Elizabeth neighborhoods of Charlotte. When we saw that it was one of the highest rated apartments in Charlotte, it piqued our interest. The first thing that blew my mind was the price for the location. We currently pay $845 per month (utilities included) for a three bedroom apartment that is less than 5 minutes away from Uptown, with more than ample space in all three bedrooms (for instance, one of the rooms serves as both my office and my music studio). When you realize that most two bedroom apartments in Charlotte cost more than that, let alone are located in far off or unsafe areas, you realize how valuable this place is to a renting Charlottean. That's not all... the staff has some of the nicest and most down to earth individuals I've ever met. Claire and Danielle, the office managers, are very professional, have great attitudes, and they plan plenty of events and games for the community. Jason and Aristotle, the resident maintenance guys, are very friendly and give me household tips for fixing things almost every time they come over. And our neighbors are super awesome! One of my neighbors hooked me up with a great deal on a set of speakers and a receiver (actually, he tried to give them to me but I insisted on buying them). I often go biking with one of my other neighbors (he flips bikes as a hobby). While there are many great places to live in Charlotte, clearly THIS one tops the list and it is a reason why I have and will continue to recommend this place to friends.

Doral apartments are a great place for any first time renter or people focused on location. I moved there looking for both and have loved it. I am a teacher living on my own and the rent does not make me go broke. They renovated the apartments so they looked nice upon my arrival. I love the location near great bars and close to several grocery stores. There appear to be an equal amount of new renters as well as people who have families. I've lived here 2 years now and must say I've lived each moment.

I have lived in many places in the last, say 50 years. Many apartments in the mix, but the Doral is the best. Large apartments, with great floor plans. A great mix of people, good service from the staff. All in a great area of a growing city. Very pedestrian friendly, great shopping close by, not to mention the restaurant and entertainment venues equally as close. Whether you are a young person, newly weds, family or an empty nester the Doral Apartments are a great match. Hope to meet you as a new neighbor soon !!

I have live in doral apt. for about 11 years My community is the best ever.

I live in the Doral Apartments in Charlotte, NC. They used to be notorious for being flooded after a heavy downpour. However, since the city of Charlotte purchased part of the Doral apartments as well as the Cavalier apartments things have changed. The city of Charlotte is planning to create a park and green way in that location which will enhance the area even more. The staff at the Doral apartments is excellent - whenever I have an issue such as the washing machine being broken, Jason the maintenance manager will fix the problem asap. I also like the fact that we have very diverse residents from many different countries - I am from Germany myself!

I've been living here for more than a year and literally cannot find a better apartment for this price, even though I've changed jobs and now have a much longer commute. I've been spoiled!
