Amber from the leasing office welcomed me and helped me all throughout the application process which made me feel welcomed. I had an easy move in and have settled in very well. I enjoy many sunny days out by the pool and spend nights by the fire pits with my friends. I would love to stay here for a few years if possible

I love living at Diega. Sure the maintenance needs to be quicker, but they don’t allow short term rentals and do a lot to make sure this is a safe and friendly community. I wouldn’t live anywhere else downtown.

Living at Diega has been a great experience. I've lived in the community for the last 34 months and have found the staff to be extremely friendly and professional. The convenience of living downtown is a plus by being able to walk to many restaurants and Petco Park. The facilities and grounds are very well kept. My wife and I could see ourselves living at Diega for a very long time.

The building may look nice until you get here and see behind the curtain. Things are in a constant state of disrepair. In 2.5 years of living here I don’t think the building has ever been fully functional, whether one or more garage doors is broken, the front or side door is broken, the elevators are down, etc. So far there have been 2 major water leaks damaging multiple floors of apartments needing major repairs. Management refused to supply hotels/lodging during at least one of these. They also refused to discount rents or give any concessions to those affected by the leaks. The management of this building is awful. And despite all of it, they will for sure raise your rent every chance they get. There are better places with better value in the downtown area.

Diega is the best place to live in San Diego! The leasing office is so friendly and knows residents by their names and always greet them. Residents are social here and it is very easy to make friends. Maintenance is on top of their work and are so pleasant to talk to. It is always very clean here and the amenities are top notch. The best in San Diego. Overall I would give Diega a 1000/10.

If you want to experience a great downtown community with a great view Diega is the best! The entire team from courtesy patrol, grounds, housekeeping maintenance, management are the best! All team players that genuinely care about the community. You won’t find that anywhere else.

Diega is the best high rise in the downtown district of SanDiego. The amenities and apartments are the nicest we’ve ever lived in. Hayley and Zach made our move easy and smooth. The maintenance team is the best! Always courteous and responsive!

Multiple multiple things don’t work and take a very very long time to get fixed i.e. the garage door. For safety and security there’s either one or two of the garage doors that are left open all the time a homeless community at the corner of Broadway and Seventh is overwhelming! And it is scary. Plus the hot water issue that I spoke about earlier

The staff at Diega is extremely courteous and helpful. While I was moving in I had a ton of questions and a couple things that needed to be looked in my apartment. The maintenance staff was at my unit within 24 hours and fixed any issues I had. Great clear communication through the whole process from all parties.

Diega is well situated in downtown San Diego. Living here is really great. Wonderful gym, pool and hot tub, many common areas in which to relax. Management office is highly professional and everyone has a willing attitude.

I have loved living the in the Diega! The amenities are top notch, they have many fun events (with lots of free food) and the staff is wonderful. Everything is very secure, from the garage, to amazon packages. I cant recommend enough! For those that have complained about the homeless - it is not that many and just part of being downtown!

Diega is awesome. It is a great experience to be living here. Everyone is very nice and amenities excellent. Only issue I have right now is the waiting list for parking which they said 30 days after moving in and looking forward to that since were only here for 19 days.

The staff here is fine, the real issue comes down to the management. The property manager and assistant are insanely rude, tone deaf, and completely void of any responsibility. The building is in a constant state of disrepair and they seem completely fine with that. Not only is the quality of the building subpar (brand new, everything already falling apart) the management just send weekly baseless threats via email to every resident about constant issues like broken glass or dog poop literally everywhere. The pest issue is out of control. So much so that instead of dealing with the pests management just decides to make it way more difficult for people to throw away garbage by locking a few doors. The mice will get under the doors... DUH! Instead of figuring out how to keep hallways clean they now douse nauseating perfume everywhere - no doubt the cleanliness is still an issue. I mentioned my closet door fell off, and broke multiple valuable personal possessions and neither of the manager did so much as bat an eye. That is pretty exemplary of the type of people, and employees, they truly are.

I moved in a few months ago and am severely regretting this move. There are always things in disrepair or left a mess. Garbage is regularly left out in the hallways, there was even dog poop in the hallways for over 24 hours at one point. This causes pest like flies throughout the building and even evidence of rats/mice in the garbage areas. The elevators and entrance doors regularly break, making just entering and exiting a pain. Security is also a major issue here. I have heard lots of stories of people being followed into the building by sketchy individulas with no help from security guards. The mail room is a huge mess, I have had multiple packages lost and did not get to open presents on the holiday because of boxes being misplaced. The "dog park" is filthy, and nasty - my dog refuses to step foot in there - which is a good thing, because Im sure it is spreading disease due to its uncleanliness. Machines at the gym will breakdown and go unrepaired for multiple weeks at a time. Also INFESTED with gross flies because of the nasty pet relief area adjacent to the gym doors. Nothing has changed. Management often says they are working to improve things only for things to get worse a week late.

The amenities are what made the place for me. Gym is awesome with a room just for spin bikes, and the pool area is also really nice and water is actually heated.

The whole building is in perfect condition. Love the 7th floor. Great area to sit and work remotely, cook dinner on the terrace, go to the gym, and hang by the pool. The staff throughout (cleaners, leasing folks, security) are all extremely welcoming. It's also in a great location to be able to walk around the city and explore Gaslamp, Little Italy, Petco Park and still quick and easy to get on the freeway to get to PB, OB, Mission Beach etc.

At least for me, when you're looking at the market, with Diega, you might be paying a bit, but you get A LOT. There's so much offered with this building, I know it's going to continue to pay dividends in my day to day from here on out, across the amenities, fitness enablement, easy access to parking / the building, lovely light and sky views, as well as balconies to your hearts content. One pleasant surprise, albeit specific, the units are pre-wired for internet in the walls, so for people with web-based work that need a fast wired connection, no need to run cables along the floors, you can have a hard line to the fiber modem and not need to see it, in generally internet install is extremely convenient but also discrete and out of sight - huge plus for me personally.
