The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

Property Ratings at Diamond Forest Apartments
We loved living here. It was more like a home than an apartment complex because of the extra large room sizes, updated interior, quiet and safe neighborhood They were clean. I did not see any bugs inside as some reviews stated The staff was very helpful and maintenance was quick to respond I almost didn’t sign here because of some of the bad reviews I am so glad I took a chance because it was a wonderful year here We also got our deposit back We did have everything professionally cleaned to leave it as we received it I would highly recommend Diamond Forest Apartments to you They are not new but have everything else you would want in a home

I have lived here for a very long time. Madison is the absolute best. Her team is kind as well. Maintenance is top-notch. Professional all the way. The extra step in making me feel special and that I’m part of the community is genuine. I love the Book Club which meets once a month on Fridays. Cheryl T.

The above price is not the final one! They will have many surprising charges on top of that. You have to pay $150/month for the upgraded cabinet and more surprises come when you will be noticed that it is not optional! Despite other apartments that have a one-time admin fee, this apartment has a monthly admin fee besides the regular-one-time admin fee ($125). You also HAVE TO pay monthly for trash and pest! I am not telling you that it is not a good apartment, I writing this review to let you know about unforeseen charges.
I lived here for 4 years and had a great experience throughout the whole time. It’s clean and staff are very friendly and always helpful with everything. Highly recommend!
The apartment was everything we needed for our one year stay for my temporary job. Friendly staff who were always helpful. Beautiful grounds with nicely renovated apartment. The apartment complex well maintained and quiet. Frequent community events that offers opportunities for connecting with others.
I been living here for 2 years now. The leasing office staff changed this year and since then you can feel the difference. No its not positive. Its the small and not so small things. One example is what they did with the parking spaces. Every apartment gets a covered parking while non-covered is free for all. What they did was erect 'reserved' parking signs on 1 to 3 open parking spaces in front of each building. No communication, no prompt. Just the signs going up. one month after the the sign are put up you get this email saying the reserved parking spots are up for taking for $15/m. Really ? What a petty way to ask for money. We have only one spot taken in front of our building but the one adjacent had TWO spots taken. Essentially forcing people to rent the spots if you want to park closer and not across the street. If this doesn't speak of shady tactics I don't know what does. Definitely leaves a bad taste regarding the management. There was absolutely no reason for it, people were parking just fine on first come first serve bases but they had to mess it up and bring in this premium spot BS. 2nd. Recently we had new neighbors move in above us. We had a noise complaint regarding them. I talked to neighbors directly but when it did not improve the situation I talked to the manager. 3 days later I emailed him regarding the issue as the situation had not improved. Its been 4 days since I emailed him and have NOT heard back from him. 3rd. It has been a whole week since we put up a maintenance request ( that too when they came, looked at it, said its working fine, when it was not) and have NOT heard from them. This is first time in 2 years that we have had to wait so long for something to get fixed. Kind of speaks for what I said about regarding the new team. I hope the situation improves but it does not look so good at the moment.
BEDBUGS! BEDBUGS!! Just moved out of this place recently. This was supposed to be our temporary place while we have our home built. The issues list we faced is do huge and 3 months into our stay we are still fighting it. All the people we were dealing with have left not only the local office but also the parent company hayman co managers don't accept anything wrong. The apartment was so deplorable that they should be bulldozed. Right now we are dealing with a severe BEDBUG infestation. First they delayed the treatment, and now even after 2 treatments i still keep killing bedbugs crawling everywhere. Our kids are getting bitten all over and the management is so laid back about it because it is not their kids. The list of issues we had: 1. Non-working keys on the day of signing (good that we caught it in time because it was late saturday) 2. Mold, yes mold in toilet bowls (I have pictures to prove everything I claim here) 3. Dirt all over the place, showers, faucets, grout 4. Toilets made a scary, loud shrilling sounds 5. Kitchen sink faucet broken 6. Horrible smelling stairs 7. Balcony railing color just keeps on coming off.. my toddler hands were all white and they didn't care for it. They claimed that's not really they look into. 8. Unclean, broken windows, nails stuck in the paint, just lying on the window sills inside the house 9. Stained stair case carpets and cieling Also, they make the renters pay for the insurance that they should be paying. If you ever rent a place from these frauds, make sure you buy your own insurance which will ALSO cover your personal property. Their insurance DOES NOT cover your property. I tried to file a claim for loss of personal property (because we had to throw away mattresses, bedding, clothes because of bedbugs). The management company (haymon) does not bother to return your cal. I have left 3 VMs to regional manager in last 2 weeks and sent 2 follow up emails. No response yet fort he loss of personal property. If anyone from the management tries to claim that this review is just from an angry customer, that's true, but each and every word here is true. I have written and picture proof to prove it.
So, I wanted to take the time to write an honest and truthful review about Diamond Forest Apartments in Farmington hills, mi. I have lived here for almost a year now and I can honestly say I am happy I found this place. The location is perfect only minutes from the top major freeways 275, 696, and M-5. Very conveniently located near grocery stores and convenience stores. Tweleve oaks mall is only 9mins away as well. The apartment has everything I personally needed in a aparemt including washer and dryer, cathedral ceilings, spacious closets and large bedroom. The staff is very very very friendly and accomadating every now and then things fall through the cracks of being addressed but no major issues. Andy is always kind and on top right of things whenever I call with an issue. I've had only one thing break since I've been here and was fixed right away and I've only one noise issue which I addressed and had no more issues after that. Sometimes you can hear little things through the walls , but nothing that bothers or will keep you awake. The pool is beautiful, but I was a little upset when it was out of commission for quite sometime due to maintenance issue , but the residents were always kept abreast of the status. I have really enjoyed living here in the time that I have and would recommend to any young person or even small family. Thanks.
Pros: Good apartment sizes Very clean Clean surrounding area Excellent support staff Smaller community size in comparison to others nearby Forest Trail in the backyard Cons: Lack of storage area in the apartment
I've been at Diamond Forest for about one year. If you can afford the rent it's a nice place to live, the rent increase was too expensive for my liking. Very quiet, nice neighbors, and had no real problems with staff. Whenever o experienced an issue with my apartment maintaince was quick to respond. If recommend the apartment community.
I've lived here for five years. Great neighbors all around the complex. It's clean and very very peaceful.
the office staff is very welcoming! They make you feel special and the property is beatiful! The maintenance staff is great!
The residents are very nice. The apartments could use some upgrades. If you have a problem it does take them a while to fix it.
