The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

Property Ratings at Detroit Terraces
This place is a complete wasteland and only getting worse! Do not believe the pictures or any descriptions. Property manager simply do not care. It’s dirty AS HELL (Dog pee and poop everywhere, stained carpets, no cleaning team, smells, pool/hot tub aren’t clean). Your packages/mail will get stolen with no help from management who will blame you for not picking it up in time. There is a homeless encampment in the front of the complex. A homeless person broke into the garage due to the gate being constantly broken. No cameras on property besides the front door and the laundry room for some random reason. None in the garage at all. They will get mad at you if you have a Ring camera and will threaten you with fees if you don’t take it down but refuses to put any camera up themselves. My car was broken into with no solutions from managers. Only received an “I’m sorry about that”. Repairs are never done, but will say “it’s complete”. Laundry room filled with dirty broken machines. Trash rooms are never cleaned and filled with dog poop on the floor and flies. Elevator have mysteriously stains smeared on the walls and trash left inside for weeks. I lived there for 2 years and it changed managers about 4 times (3 in a 6 month span). Water is always randomly shut off. Leaks everywhere. Mold buildup in the showers. Rent is too expensive for what you get. Not safe at all. The worst apartment that I’ve ever lived in. STAY AWAY!
-- nasty laundry facilities -- dogs pee and poop in the halls -- garage gate often broken -- expensive move out fees for anything and everything (pls have someone from North Oak inspect the unit before you move a thing in. not the property manager because they go through 3-4 per year. legit just have corporate inspect it) --too expensive for Hollywood --water pressure & leak issues -- hot water issues -- sauna/spa isn't available
North Oak took over Jan 2021 and this place is FALLING APART. They don't use a cleaning company anymore - carpets, common areas, and the pool are filthy and the trash is left for weeks. They have been through 3 property managers this year alone. Maintenance requests don't get fixed (but they will close them anyway!). The garage gate is broken, the water is off constantly for repairs and we often don't even get notified beforehand, or just a few hours before. Hot tub is typically dirty or cold. They closed the pool for 6 weeks this summer over Labor Day when it was triple digits hot. The flooring by the roof is literally falling apart which is becoming a safety hazard but they close my maintenance submissions. Packages are stolen from mailroom, the laundry room and machines are dirty, cars are often broken into. ..and... My car was literally STOLEN from the garage and they still refuse to install cameras. Basically just everything has completely fallen apart! The kicker is, it's not even cheap enough for how much it's gone downhill. For the price, we should be able to live in a place you're not embarrassed to bring people over to and everything be broken, dirty, even unsafe.
They changed managers 3 times in less than 6months, there are always leaks and water shut offs and this place is expensive for what you get
I Lived here fotc6 years. New message meant comes in and cannot be bothered for the slightest thing! This apartment building has gone to hell. I asked them to take care of a bedbug issue brought in by my neighbor of which they are you about, and they did you anything allowed my apartment to be infested for more than Two weeks! This apartment building used to be quaint but has now gone to trash. I would wish this situation and Company on nobody; including my worst enemy. This used to be an amazing building ; LUntil North Oak took over. Stay away!
