Overall, my experience living here for 3 years has been quite good. I feel safe and the opportunities for socializing is terrific. In my view, it would be preferable if there was a way NOT to close the office during lunchtime since it's not predictable when the Out for Lunch sign will be posted on the door or when the staff is expected to return. Perhaps there could be some staff overlap so there is always someone available to answer questions/offer help. Thank you.
Destinations is a great place to live. The people and staff are very friendly and caring. There is such a wide variety of activities available for everyone. It feels like being around family.

Larry is an outstanding support staff member and always willing to lend a hand to Destinations residents. But overall the other support staff members seem to be at Destinations Lynwood for their own convenience and personal reasons rather than reaching out to residents in a welcoming manner. The monthly Calendar of activities lacks imagination and recognition of residents wants and needs.

This place is good for independent living and building relationships with other tenants through common interest. My husband and I have established a Saturday night music/guitar sessions with the help of other tenants and music minded people enjoy interacting with one another. We do not advertise it as we like people to come to enjoy music and not for goodies that we share while listening to good music. Indoor weekend night activity is great for everyone who loves it and it is FREE.

I have found this community to be a very welcoming experience. A lot of great activities to participate in within the building and close to the Recreational and Senior Centers. Free shuttle service a few days a week to the local stores, and many great places to eat close by. I love the monthly calendar provided which also has special events you can sign up for. I've only been here for a couple of weeks, but things have gone well so far. Randee has proven to be very helpful with any of my questions. The maintenance guys responded quickly to a request. And the other residents have proven to be very friendly.

This is a great location if you don't want to keep your car. There is a shuttle bus, public transit, and the zip car. Many services are within a few blocks, so an easy walk for some.

Location is great for shopping and restaurants. Proximity to freeway makes travel quick and easy to destinations. Having mature residents who interact with each other in a respectful manner makes it a nicer community. Having outdoor spaces for lunch or a read or a sun bathe is essential for a good mood.

A very lovely community building. Lots of health choices with exercise classes in yoga, fitness and exercise equipment. Resident lunch out events, once a week happy hours and other outings.

This is my 3rd year at Destination 61. I enjoy living here. The remodel is done and all I can saw is WoW. It's beautiful.

I like my apartment and staff is really nice and great. Larry is very helpful and always goes above and beyond. Very nice amenities here you get more then what you pay for!

I love the large bathrooms as I came from a place with a tiny cramped bathroom with no drawers or linen closet. I love the carpet color that does not show dirt (although I frequently vacuum) I love the amount of cupboards in the kitchen and the large deep closets.

The location is great and it's a senior apartment which really suits my needs. Very nice people and made lots of friends! Everyone is really nice including staff
