Located along the Colorado River directly across from Laughlin, Nevada, Bullhead City offers plenty of everything: the casinos, shows, and nightlife of Laughlin, the water sports of the Colorado River, hiking the mountains, and the resorts around Lake Mohave and its hot springs. Not far from Bullhead City, resident and visitors can explore the Mohave National Preserve, the Dead Mountains Wilderness Area, Havasu National Wildlife Refuge, Grand Canyon National Park, Prescott National Forest, and Joshua Tree National Park.

Only about an hour southeast of Las Vegas, Bullhead City Residents can venture into the city for the world-famous casinos, shows, and events. Because of this fantastic location, Bullhead City continues to attract new residents. The views are stunning -- Spirit Mountain is visible from many areas of the city. This mountain is listed on the National Register of Historic Places, and the Mojave believed that life began on the mountain.
