Del Sol is a quiet, animal friendly community with friendly neighbors and good set of core amenities (2 pools, a gym, and a dog park). Management is friendly, professional, very responsive, and open to feedback. Maintenance is spot on and quick to respond. In a great location in central Scottsdale, close to shopping centers, among other things.

Del Sol is a pretty awesome community. Great neighbors, nice apartments, good office staff. The only downside is the lackluster maintenance staff. Work is rarely completed in a timely manner. False completions are put into the system. With that said, I love the office crew here, the pools, the neighbors, the access to BBQ grills, and so-on.

The apartments looked beautiful at first. But I’ve only been here for two months and I have cockroaches. I got my apartment incomplete, a closet door was missing. The bathroom had two leaks and the the ceiling shower has a leak. It looks like it’s growing mold. Maintenance is loud when doing their job, when renovating an apartment there is trash and old utilities left outside for days. The trash is flooded. There is wasps. There is dog poo in the side walks that never gets picked up. They never answer the phone, you have to physically go to the office and tell them several times to fix something. Otherwise it will not get done. Don’t move here. Look elsewhere.

I loved living here at first. Management is going down the drain. Lots of issues that they don't seem to care about and rent is going up way too high for no reason, it seems there care more about the dollar then there residents who have lived here for years. No wonder my neighbors for years are moving out. It's really shameful

I would never recommend anyone living here. Takes months for maintenance and nothing ever gets done. Doors fall off, everything is cheap.

Actually shocked at how bad my move in was for Del Sol. There were blatant lies, misrepresentation, and an uninhabitable unit delivered to me. Not only that, It took me 45 days of hounding management in order to get anything resolved and we are still dealing with the issues. This complex is located in such a lovely part of town but Greystar needs to rethink their leadership asap. Not worth the money.

I think its a really good community, I realize the maintenance team is very busy especially with the covid issues but I dont think my maintenance problems should take over a year to be addressed- the maintenance staff are extremely courteous and respectful , and the grounds are maintained very well. I have called several times and left messages, and emails, and went into the office 4 times to attempt to get on a auto payment plan since Ive fallen behind with this covid 19 pandemic but am still waiting time be contacted.

I am shocked... Day one and I already have four, yes four complaints. 1. This morning after moving in, we woke up to cockroaches in our apartment, and before you think differently we lived in a house in Glendale for four years and did not see 1 cockroach in 4 years. 2. its 8:00 pm at night and we have no hot water! 3. My daughter stepped on something sharp which then drew blood but I thought it was something we have dropped. Then a few moments ago I stepped on something sharp which also drew blood. I started feeling on the edge of the carpet and found three sharp nails sticking up from the edge of the carpet. Now we have to line the carpet with shoes so the kids don't step on the nails... Yes we tried to pull them out. 4. This apartment loses airconditioning really fast. I then notices I can see daylight around the front door when it is closed. 5. Lastly at least till this point... On Monday after I had already posted the complaint I showed up at the apartment office and asked them to spray the apartment for pests/roaches. I was rudely asked "well did you fill out a request form to have someone come spray r fix the water heater or nail down dangerous nails?" People this stuff should already be done before someone moves in. When we showed up on Saturday no one did a walk through with us.... I have never been in a rental where this happened.
I've lived here for 2 years now and I love it! Recently the owners had new staff come into the office and they are great! They are really friendly and helpful, compared to the last staff who was rude and looked like they were just there to collect a pay check, the new staff is great!!! I'm don't agree with some of the other reviews and I know when people get mad they seem to exaggerate. I have never seen rats, or have a bug issue. The maintenance has always been helpful and polite, and my items are fixed usually in 24 hours. I have never been lied to about pricing or utilities, it explains it all in the lease... I guess I read things before I sign them unlike others. I would definitely recommend this place, and when it's time to renew my lease, I definitely will!
I lived at Del Sol for quite some time. I only had to move due to my job transfer. This place is great! When I lived there the new management company that came in recently was fantastic, and so was the maintenance. I lived in the 2 bedroom floor plan and it was the perfect size and had large rooms. When it came time for me to notify them that I needed to move, the new management made the process very easy. I wish I could have renewed if it wasn't for my job transfer. If I ever come back I will be renting here again!!! Keep up the great work!
I've been here for a while and the OWNERS are on their FOURTH management company. They had a rat problem for a very long time and refused to fix it until people started complaining on a daily basis. My neighbors moved out because of rats in their kitchen. One of the 2 hot tubs hasn't worked for over a year and it was supposed to be fixed by now. They raised my rent buy over $200 on renewal because I had a pretty good deal on my initial lease- but now I'm paying more than people that are coming in to sign new leases, and my apartment isn't even one of the renovated ones. I have been a landlord and can tell you I would never treat people this way as an owner. That is why I believe they are going through management companies so frequently. It is a good location but there are lots of apartments around here and think you'll end up paying more than other places in the long run even if it seems cheaper at first (Maaaaybe consider it if you're only going to stay one year). If they lure your in because it's cheap, they will raise you right up to market rate or ABOVE market rate on your renewal. Also, when I switched apartments they messed up the move date and still charged me ridiculous fees with the move, over 1k in total. I'm not looking forward to the move out because no matter how clean the apartment is I think they're going to charge me again. No longer have trust on my end. The new management company is nice but the owners have lost a lot of money in this place and everyone else is feeling the brunt of it.
I give this horrible place a NO STAR!! I flew in from California for a day of interviews and a mission to find a new place to live! Prior to me traveling I made an apt to come view the property. When I arrived before schedule the woman in the leasing office (hence woman because she did not introduce herself) asked how can I help you? I informed her I had an apt in which she could care less about my name or or time to look up.. Moving on she informed me that the floor plans weren't avail until Oct??!!! But my move in date is Aug that's why I made this appt! Then she goes to say well there is one in Aug! Sorry confused what month?! Not to mention the attitude. Carrying on she took me to a demo appt in which I was the tour guide myself .. She didn't show me amenities or the area! Bottom line this place is trash and the staff is unprofessional in customer service and APPEARANCE!! Steer clear of this horrible place you want to call home..
