The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

Property Ratings at Del Rio Apartments
The best management staff experience I've had hands down!!! Ari and the rest of the staff are always courteous and prompt. They always give notice if they need to enter the apartment for any reason. If an maintenance was needed, it was always taken care of very promptly. The apartments are in very good condition and clean. The air conditioning works great. All our neighbors were friendly and courteous. Nobody was loud or caused any trouble. Plenty of grass and also a dog play area for pups. I really enjoyed living at Del Rio Apartments, and if I ever move back to Albuquerque I would like to live there again. Vince R

The actual apartments do not look like the pictures. They have original appliances from the 80's. The walls and ceiling are paper thin. The door lets in cold and hot air. There are cars being broke into. Please check out apartment and not model before signing. Paying their prices for what you Re getting is ridiculous . They raise rent over $150 and you cannot use amenities because of COVID.

The office staff and maintenance crew are all very friendly, helpful, and professional. The grounds are very pretty and well-kept, with a lot of grass and trees (which I love!), and the complex itself is in a great part of town and close to everything. I’ve been here three months, but when I lived in an adjacent complex, I used to walk my dogs here after dark because it has sidewalks and lights everywhere and I felt safe. Now that I live here, I like all my neighbors plus the people I meet walking my dogs. My apartment is great, with a large master bedroom, large living room, and a good size patio with a view of the mountain I hadn’t expected. I feel very much at home here, and I plan to be here for a long time.

Absolutely TERRIBLE, I lived here for two years and in the beginning it was great no complaints, maintenance was on it and everything was perfect! After management changed and even maintenance changed they have showed little to no care about the residents that have been here the longest. They don't want to upgrade the units until you fully "move-out", the entrance to the gym in the back is constantly closed when it used to be open 24/7 but now because the pool hours are only 9am to 10pm they lock the gates which permits us from entering into the gym since there is only one entrance to the gym aside from the office in which the office is only open from 9:30 to 6pm. Additionally they have been accepting some strange characters (to say the least) into the apartments lately. I no longer felt safe there! There were suspicious people walking around the apartment at night time and people were even jumping into the pool at one point and they weren't even residents. My car on top of that has had missing and stolen parts from it and of course the office/staff did nothing!! I presumed this was a safe neighborhood at first but afterwards it has become a nightmare. I have called the police in the last 3 months about 3-4 times due to suspicious activity, whether it's from residents themselves or people that shouldn't even be on the property! They have no security and pretty much anyone can enter and exit. All the washers and dryers were always broken this past year and last I used them there was only 2 washers and 2 dryers working and the dryers were still leaving the clothes damp and they refused to refund me my money used for my clothes! I have also called to complain about my neighbors because the new people that moved in were incredible loud and even after jumping so much ( I was on the first floor) there was water leaking into my bathroom and left water damage and they did nothing! I also would put in so many orders for my garbage disposal that instead of replacing the whole thing all they would do is just "clean it" and it would work for a few months and break again. The dishwasher was also spilling a lot of water and they refused to replace it even though they are really old and no matter how many times you fix it, it will still not function properly! On top of that towards the end of my lease they refused to give me my ledger for odd reasons.. and stated they no longer had access to it. I don't understand all of these false reviews as of lately.

Hi John, thank you for sharing your feedback. We are sorry to hear you've had an unpleasant experience at Del Rio. Please know that we address all work orders and we do understand that the broken laundry machines are an issue. However, we do have a plan and we are in the process of getting brand new machines. For all the other concerns, please contact me personally at 505.898.3254 or at delriomgr@nals.com, we would really like the opportunity to address them, if possible. Thank you, - Leslie W., Community Manager.
I have a 1 bedroom, 1 bath apartment. It is 720 Sq. Ft. I've been living here for 2 years and 2 1/2 months. I like the area and the community amenities that the complex has. I live by myself and I don't have any kids or pets. The first year of living here, it was very nice. Then I started noticing problems in the apartment; the water in the kitchen sink smells like sewer; the whole apartment has a locked in stench of cigarette smoke and it's gotten on all my furniture and clothing and cleaning and deodorizers don't help; when upstairs neighbors do laundry, it backs up into my kitchen sink with suds and smells like downy and it leaves gross, small particles; and I've been putting up with the neighbors' (since the first day they moved in on Feb 2014)loudness and lack of respect for me downstairs. They do laundry from 10pm till 2 am, they stomp when they walk, always banging things to what seems like their rearranging furniture, and their always up making other uncomfortable noises to what seems like 24/7. I've called the courtesy patrol so many times that I'm actually tired of calling because the property managers don't seem to take care of the situation; even though I've reported these neighbors and reported the conditions of the apartment more than once. On August 21, I went to the Dr for wheezing and coughing and now I have to use an inhaler. This is from the locked in cigarette smoke, which I reported to the manager plenty of times prior to the Dr visit that the smell was starting to make me sick. They didn't do anything except change my filter, which didn't make a difference. I hadn't moved out sooner because I had knee surgery(which caused me not to work for 7 months) and I couldn't afford to move out. I also wasn't in a condition physically to move out. My current lease expires on June 14, 2016 and I was going to break the lease to move out asap but I can't afford it. I found another apartment complex that seems much more professional than where I'm at now. However, it is more expensive. So I'm still searching for other apartment complexes because I need to move out of my current apartment. I am looking for a similar Sq. Ft. and similar community amenities. If given the opportunity to become one of the winners for free rent for life, I would be very grateful, appreciative, and humbled because it would assist me financially and in so many other ways. Thank you for your time and for giving someone like myself a chance for an opportunity like this.
The apartments are a little outdated inside but they are very roomy. The property is very nice, grass everywhere. Two pools and great location for any commute
