Property Ratings at Deer Trail Apartments
I do NOT recommend. When I came to view the apartment, everything was good. Then when I move in, my bathroom ceiling has a huge hole in it that took them months to fix. Not soon after, I began to hear water dripping within the walls and informed them that it could be potential problem. Nothing. Next thing you know, BOTH of my bathroom ceilings had fell thru and water was coming from every ceiling fixture in my apartment. Everything was wet. Carpet and all. Now the floors are warped and it looks like my refrigerator is about to fall thru the floor. Another thing was I PAID to move in early and I couldn’t because whoever Lynn is, didn’t have the keys so that I could. Do you think they credited me back for paying an early move in fee? NOPE. I had to wait and pay the movers for twice. This place sucks. The main hallways barely get cleaned or ever and smells horrible. They have poor employee retention so you never really know who to contact. No one is every available. They do not return phone calls and I don’t think anybody number works. Several times I’ve had some issues concerning my rent balance and reached out beforehand to avoid late fees (Mind you I pay my rent before time, on time and extra every time) I wouldn’t hear from them until AFTER the late fee date which is the 5th(extra $100). I’m patiently waiting for my lease to end so I can leave On the other hand, I like the location. It’s quiet and away from main streets.
I lived at this complex and it’s poorly ran by all those employed by Ogden. They tell you their is an on-site property manager but she never responds to anything she refers you to the property manager who literally does nothing, she does not respond to phone calls/voicemails, she doesn’t reply to text messages and the only way she responds to emails is if you constantly send her follow ups asking her to get back to you. Maintenance is a laughing stock, you submit maintenance requests and they legit do not respond. The buildings are old and smell and they do not come and clean them. LOL they say they maintain their upkeep that’s the furthest thing from the truth. Overall renting from Ogden has been a horrible experience for I and my neighbors share those same sentiments. Do yourself a favor and save yourself a constant headache by not renting from a company who employs lazy and unprofessional individuals.
I lived there for 3 months. A lesson learned and money wasted. Management are big Liars and very unprofessional. My car got vandalized vandalized as well as two of my neighbors got home invaded back to back and management did nothing nor notified its tenants. Also My bathroom had a leak coming from the tenants upstairs and they did nothing. All they want is your money so if I were you I would keep looking. Also, aa very high crime area that isn't safe for families with small children..
I would NEVER recommend anyone living here. They are very unprofessional and don't care about their residents. I cant wait to leave here in July. Worst living experience I've ever had in my life.
