Directly north of Amelia, the Meadows provides a tranquil setting just minutes from downtown Beaumont. The neighborhood extends from Keith Road east to Dowlen Road, with Dishman Road to the north and Phelan Boulevard to the south. Gulf Terrace Park is on the southwestern corner of the neighborhood, providing a hiking and biking trail for walkers, runners, and in-line skaters. The Chris Quinn Indoor Soccer Complex, which provides indoor and outdoor soccer facilities, is also located in the Meadows.
If you choose an apartment in the Meadows, your main shopping district will be located along Phelan Boulevard, which features everything from bistros to fast-food restaurants to bars and saloons. This area also offers several shops, grocery stores, and other businesses. The Parkdale Mall is to the north along Dowlen Road, and residents can also travel easily to Downtown Beaumont, less than five miles east.
