Great building, great front desk staff. Building is poorly maintained. Horrendous community manager (Jael) who hides in office and does not work to address resident issues. Get cookie cutter responses from communications with said community manager instead of thoughtful responses. Her apathy is a perfect match for a company like Grey Star.

Hello, thank you for taking the time to leave this review. However, there are some discrepancies. We do not have any record of any communication between you and our Assistant Community Manager, Jael. She does, however, have a record of communication with your co-signer, during which he complimented her excellent customer service while helping navigate and resolve their inquiry. Our Leasing Team works at the front desk while the Management Team members work in the Management office, which is accessible to residents but not always as visible as our Leasing Team. All residents are our priority, and we do our very best to be available for their needs. You are always welcome to set up an appointment with our Assistant Manager or any other team member. Thank you for your positive feedback regarding our Leasing Team. If you ever have any maintenance needs, please feel welcome to submit a work order through your resident portal or let our team know if you need assistance. We do have an entirely new Maintenance Team and have only been receiving positive feedback since this change. The apartment was a bit overpriced for what my rent was but the staff was friendly. My only concern was that sometimes maintenance didn’t take my issues seriously. My dishwasher makes an awful high pitch whine every time it runs and there was black mold in my washer that I was told was “part of the wear and tear”.

Good apartment, feeling its age a bit bit staff are super friendly and helpful. The apartment appliances are small (refrigerator, freezer, washer, dryer) even in the two bedroom units. If you’re ok with small appliances and some wear and tear, Cyan is fine.

Ive had a few run ins with maintenance where I've felt they were slow to respond with emergency tickets, but other than that we have had a great experience!

Overall a great location to be apart of the community. In the middle of great weekly events like the farmers markets and the waterfront is just a few blocks away. My main issue is other residents don’t keep the complex clean. The dumpsters get overloaded quickly with boxes not being broken down and residents leave trash in common spaces like the elevator and lobby or throw trash out the windows.

It’s not too bad of a place to live. They finally are starting to clean it up and improve with new paint and carpet. The view of the Willamette River and watching the dragon boats is my favorite part.

So far i absolutely love it here. The only thing that kept me from 5 stars is maintenance not really getting back to me and also a weird smell in my apartment that never goes away that is “normal”. Other than that, I’m so happy to live here

I love living here. The community is very friendly. My apartment is very nice. I like the location. I adore my view of Mt. Hood. The amenities are also very nice.

I love being here! Apartment is pretty new with great quality amenities. Due to new appliances Bills are on the lower side too. Very quite environment and friendly people. Each Apt has a drying and washing units. paid parking available too!

We really enjoy living here at Cyan Pdx. Anytime there’s an issue, maintenance fixes it quickly, the front desk is always so kind, and the residents are friendly. The only real downsides we’ve come across are the deliveries/mailroom difficulties and the parking lot. The Amazon hub is too small for how many people live in the building which causes an overfill of deliveries and packages to be left out in unsecured areas to be stolen occasionally. The parking lot has had many occasions of theft and vandalism. We understand the parking lot is not directly owned by the apartment complex, and the parking structure has tried to fix these problems, it’s just a downside to living in downtown Portland.

Amazing!!! Everything is amazing about living at Cyanpdx. The staff are extremely kind, supportive, and friendly. Everything is super easy when it comes to getting assistance, such as maintenance and payment questions. All the other residents I’ve met are super sweet and living here has been the best experience I’ve ever had. No bad things to say!

Life at Cyan/PDX just gets better and better! There are improvements all over the community, from new carpet on all floors, new flooring in the elevators, and an addition of a new staff member who is such a kind and friendly person. It is a joy to interact with the staff, the property manager, the maintenance personnel, and the community events are lovely places to interact. It has felt so good to share my photos of my place. On a clear day, I can see Mt. St. Helens and Mighty Tahoma (Mt. Rainier), over 100 miles away! These days, there's a nice energy of activity at all the restaurants, food trucks, and cafés, including those at Portland State University...and spring is getting near and the cherry blossoms along the Willamette will be blooming. I feel gratitude every day that I found this paradise in downtown Portland. It feels so good to host numerous friends as visitors from out-of-state. You will be hard-pressed to find a better value in a community anywhere in the region!

The leasing staff are amazing and the building is well-kept. The only issue is the outside area can be pretty loud at night but that is to be expected in a downtown area of a city. I've loved living here for the last two years.

Cyan has taken over a month to repair a broken refrigerator which is considered an essential appliance. It is STILL not fixed! This should have been replaced within a week! They do not care about tenants. I do not recommend Cyan, there are much better apartments that actually do required maintenance.

I have loved living at Cyan PDX, the staff are always friendly & helpful. They support and work with each resident while providing a welcoming environment.

The team really cares about the residents. When you talk to them they listen and do what they can to help. I also really like the floorplans.
