Property Ratings at Crossings at Pinebrook
I was previously in a 1 bed 1 bath apartment and the apartment wreaked of second-hand smoke for several months. I couldn't take it anymore so moved to another apartment within the same complex. Lots of issues with this new apartment that I made sure to write down on my list that needed repair upon moving in (most were small issues that I could overlook). New tenants move right above me and their laundry room is leaking for days into my apartment that started producing mold both in the walls and the carpets. It was so bad even leaving the windows opened most of the day still didn't keep me from the sinus infections. I started sleeping at a friend's house for several months because management decided after 3-4 months of ignoring my service request that they mark it as completed. I'm not one to complain and I'm a laid-back tenant, but this was unacceptable. No matter how many times you call the office, no one ever picks up the phone; forcing you to waste your precious time to show up in person where you sit and wait even when you're the only tenant in the office. The sense of urgency is poor here and we don't even have a property manager at this time. One of the entrance gates look terrible and hasn't been repaired, truly making this complex look like the slums. We have gates for absolutely no reason since they never work. Trash is everywhere and people stopped caring to take the trash and place it into the compactor. I keep my apartment as clean and pristine as possible and their are roaches starting to run rampant. We pay for pest control and I haven't seen anyone come by to spray anything in months. What a tragic mess we are living in. We pay lots of money and get nothing in return. Maintenance is non-existent. The list goes on... I hate this place and regret signing a lease renewal with a price increase. Foshee residential is terrible - they get nothing done for us and just put all the money into their pockets. Thieves.

Do not rent from these people. We have been dealing with a ROACH INFESTATION for literally months. They have cancelled maintenance requests with no reason given, and they make it impossible to schedule anything practically forcing you to set aside your entire day in the off chance they actually come by to fix the thing you needed fixed. They never answer their phone if you call , even if you only missed their call by a single minute and are calling the same number they called you from. I have instances of calling continuously for 30 minutes with no answer. The people at the front office are rude, and talk down to you like you are a child. I should not have to pull teeth to get traction on getting pest control to our apartment for the ROACH INFESTATION WE ARE DEALING WITH.

Maintenance is non existent. There was a huge water leak in the apartment above me and I sent in requests for it to be fixed every single day. They never contacted me for two months and it developed mold. ACTUAL MOLD. A health hazard and I couldn’t even sleep in my bedroom. For months. Do not live here.
Everything paid and filled out by December 8 apartments was said to be ready on December 16, it is now the 8th of January and we are still getting our move in date changed without even being told every week! They see us calling and do not answer the phone on purpose and when they do answer it’s always a different excuse!
This place smells like the inside of a sewer drain. I left last week and haven't even gone back to get my items. I couldn't bring myself to go back and face the awful smell that comes from the kitchen sink. Maintenance refuses to do anything about the dogs defecating on my balcony. I can't believe I ever signed a lease here. Please pray that I find somewhere else to live. Have a blessed day and don't move here.
Not worth the price. They were ONCE luxury apartments.....30 years ago, though some are spacious. It's not really gated because it's always left open. Because of that several of us have had our cars broken into & once high schoolers came through & slashed a lot of tires here......Gotta go!
I lived here for 14 months and have friends who have been here a year. The apartments themselves are nothing special, but rent's low and there is very little crime, which is sometimes all you care about. The ladies in the office are always friendly and helpful. However, management does a poor job of running the property and maintenance is a joke. Real examples: *my friends had a first floor window broken for months. *their apt also flooded because water wasn't turned off in the vacant apt upstairs. They still had to fight to get mgmt to move them into a new apt. *my AC went out once a month for all of last summer. Never got a real fix. *my apt was saturated with a cigarette/chemical smell that made me sick. No fix for that either, and mgmt wouldn't let me move without breaking the lease for $$$$. *plenty of broken interior doors and a broken smoke detector. *replaced 20 dumpsters with a single trash compactor. HORRIBLE DECISION. It's always overflowing and you can smell it buildings away. *the gates are never closed in any reliable way. *pet fees are way too high for the rent. I know you can expect that, but not $400 in a $500/mo apt. Crossings at Pinebrook is definitely a "budget" option. If you can afford better, you really should try.
