Cottonwood Village is a suburban neighborhood about eight miles northeast of Old Town. Filled with tree-lined streets, manicured lawns, and cul de sacs, Cottonwood Village has moderately priced and upscale rentals available in a variety of styles, including single-family houses and modern apartments. Cottonwood Village is predominately residential, but there are chain restaurants, big-box department stores, and other businesses located on the eastern end of the neighborhood along North Rock Road. While renting in Cottonwood Village, you’ll also have easy access to Great Plains Nature Center, a wildlife sanctuary with several lakes and trails which is adjacent to the neighborhood. Along with being less than 20 minutes from Old Town’s awesome dining and entertainment options, Cottonwood is also convenient to Wichita State University and the University of Kansas School of Medicine. U.S. Highway 96 nearby makes traveling around Wichita easy.

The apartments themselves are a little bit out dated, but the location and staff make up for that. You can not find a better location, between the grocery store options, food and entertainment. The staff is friendly, and accommodating, and maintenance responds so quickly. All around good place to live.

For the first few months it was good, but it's obvious that the buildings are starting to break down, if you have problems with upstairs sounds, do not move here. We even moved apartments to a "newer" apartment, but it's even worse, and they gave us an apartment with so much stuff broken or ill fitting it's ridiculous
I lived at this property for the last 2 years and had a great experience. The people in the leasing office were always friendly and accommodating, the grounds are well maintained, and it's in a great location with easy access to K96. I didn't have any maintenance issues in the time I was there, either. Highly recommend!
