Sioux Falls, South Dakota's largest city, showcases the natural beauty of the Big Sioux River and its cascading waterfalls at Falls Park. The downtown area features the city's namesake falls alongside local art galleries, shops, and restaurants. Housing choices include downtown apartments and established areas like McKennan Park, with its historic architecture and mature trees. The rental market remains steady, with one-bedroom apartments averaging $950 monthly, showing a 1.3% decrease from the previous year. The area near Augustana University and the southeastern district surrounding The Empire Mall offer additional rental opportunities.
Major employers Sanford Health and Avera Health contribute to the city's stable economy. Residents enjoy an extensive 29-mile recreational trail system, while the Washington Pavilion houses performing arts venues and an interactive science center.

The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

Property Ratings at Creekstone Falls
Older apartments but you get a lot for the price, good parking, garage, in unit washers and a surprising amount of space for closets. Maintenance is usually fast and Management is polite and helpful, sometimes communication gets lost between different employees but they're better if you email them in my experience. Only downside is the pool is no longer available and our apartment wasn't very clean when we moved in, but we documented everything and we're able to get what needed fixed right away!
Poor communication between the revolving door of employees, management teams, and corporate ownership will leave you at fault for their mistakes. Get your checkbook ready!
What a great and friendly place to call home, from the welcome feel the instant you walk in the office to the great maintenance team and the beautiful apartment homes, you truly get it all here!
I lived in Creekstone Falls for 14 months. To start off, the landlords are not great. It's not easy to get ahold of them and when you do, it will almost never be the person you need to talk to. The apartments are beautiful, but its not worth it for the issues. When I decided to move out, they we're very inconsiderate to my roommates and myself. I will admit, we were not the greatest tenants. I hit my last straw when I got a creditor demanding $2,300 for "Carpet replacing" when they decided to replace the entire apartments carpet and WE had to pay for it. It's a horrible place to live. Seriously. Don't.
IT was OK living there but kiss your security deposit goodbye. They are highly unethical and will charge you for things that they should not. I received $29 out of $450 and went above and beyond in leaving the apartment as good as I found it. They invented charges.
The manager, Kitra, is very nice and handles every concern I have. She gives you her personal cell just in case you need to reach her in an emergency. I've never had an issue calling the front office. The maintenance is skilled and friendly. They spray regularly and I've never seen a bug in my place, and I live close to the dumpster! It's extremely quiet and the neighbors aren't idiots, probably because you have to pass a criminal background check to move in. The lease options after six months are excellent. I've not found a better place to live in El Paso. The laundry facility on the premises is large and never full of people, so that's nice. Cable, water, trash, and gas are included in the rent. Every apartment has a dishwasher and you can choose your carpeting options. There's plenty of parking, spacious enough to fit your fake tractor (private joke). The apartments are located next to the police station and library. I've not seen any issues with crime. You'll be next to all of your favorite fast food places. And it's great for singles and families. The pool is nice and there's plenty of backyard space to play.
My husband and I are going on our third year of living at Creekstone Falls. We love the location and the amenities offered at Creekstone Falls and appreciate that whenever we have any type of concern the property managers are quick to address them and do follow-up to make sure that we are happy with the work and the problem is solved. Our apartment building is full with neighbors in each of the surrounding apartments but it is very quiet here and seldom do we hear anything from any of the other apartments ie: people walking around, etc. We also enjoy the patio area or porch provided with the apartment and the plus of having a washer and dryer available in our apartment. Overall, we are very happy here and would recommend for anyone who is looking for an apartment in Sioux Falls.
I have lived here for 28 years. Please be very clear about Creekstone Falls being a non-smoking community. Keep utilities low by keeping doors and windows closed during the heating season. Be honest about # of people and pets living in an apartment. Clean up after your pets. 4508 #19
Lived here almost 8months and resigned lease! Love this property. Quiet, clean and the maintenance staff is always quick! Managem entry is very kind and friendly and always helpful! Of all the properties I've lived in this city, this is my fave!
