The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

Property Ratings at Creekside Apartments
First of all they gave us the run around when we moved in. It was constant date changes for our move in date which caused a bunch of issues. The property manager at the time was slow and not very responsive to our questions or concerns. The new property manager that came in named Angela is rude, she rushed us through the process of signing another year lease. Even after I asked every question possible, we ended up having an overdue balance because we didn’t have access to a proper website or account to check our balance so she let us pay three months where we didn’t pay the water bill portion of our rent so we accrued fees. Before this, we had never had any issues paying our rent on time or in full. The scolded our roommate for supposedly wearing an inappropriate bikini to the pool which is so rude and disrespectful. The maintenance men are very nice but don’t seem to have all the necessary tools or knowledge about how to fix certain things. Our AC would leak water, and then they told us it’s normal. I know ACs have condensation especially in the summer. The maintenance men do their best though. Safe to say that we’ll never recommend this place unless they get proper management or maintenance people.

We are so sorry to hear that you were not satisfied at Creekside Apartments. We wish you much happiness in your new apartment home.
Quick to return calls, maintenance is always fast and effective, neighbors are great. My apartment is really well insulated and my utility bill is always really low. I couldn't recommend this place more.
The Property Manager Ali and her staff are awesome to deal with; they are prompt in response to a request, professional and friendly. It’s a very nice place to live with spacious well laid out apartment floor plans, beautiful landscaping with lots of trees. You feel like you live in a home owner residential neighborhood with all the wonderful people who live here and a lot of them for a decade or more, I’ve been here for 2 1/2 years.
I have lived at Creekside Apartments for 3 years and just recently bought a home and moved. I had no issues with the new owners and manager and maintenance. Everything was taken care of in a timely manner. I enjoyed my apartment and the location of Creekside Apartments and would recommended to anyone looking for an apartment in North Jackson.
Do not rent here. Manager is very rude. Mold and bedbugs in some apartments. Everything is out of date and half the air conditioners do not work and always going out. They are to cheap to fix the things that need to be fixed. Prices are to high for these apartments. They care more about themselves and money than the people that live there.

We're sorry to hear that your stay in our community has been disappointing. That's certainly not what we want to hear. The most important thing to us is ensuring that all our residents are happy and comfortable while living in our community and we want to do all we can to make things better for you. Please give us a call so we can discuss your concerns with you directly. Thanks
The only thing keeping us here for now is location. We have lived in the same apartment for months now, and our A/C barely works. We've reported it multiple times and received nothing but a temporary fix (which lasted only a few days). We live downstairs and always keep our blinds closed, receiving zero direct sunlight, yet we come back to an 80 degree apartment. When the AC does cool, it takes days to reach 70 degrees and runs up our power bill, because it never cuts off. We also found roaches right after moving in, even though we were told before moving in that the property is thoroughly sprayed once a month. Took reporting it to the office twice before they sent exterminators, which still did not get rid of them. We had to buy our own sprays and traps to get rid of roaches (and in the spring-spiders!) from our very clean apartment. The new owners also took away the security we were told we would have when moving in. Seems we only get white lies from the staff, and are consistently disappointed

I currently live at Creekside and I am very pleased with the new owners. Whenever I go to the office, I have only ever experienced professionalism and pleasantness. About a month ago I needed maintenance to replace a microwave handle. I am pleased to say that the work was handled within a swift 24 hour period and the maintenance tech was extremely helpful and professional while in my home. I look forward to experiencing the professionalism, efficiency, and care this new management has brought for a long time to come. I love my apartment community and would gladly recommend this community to anyone who is looking for a nice, clean, and well managed place to live.
This place is wonderful new management is amazing bug guys come on time and service the individuals who call the office letting them know they have a problem. Pool is always amazingly clean property is always well groomed absolutely beautiful place to live! I love how modern and quiet these apartments are!
Rent went up, may as well move to Jackson Walk for these prices-at least they have amenities for renters to enjoy like up to date apartments, new appliances, clean pool & properly maintained & they care for their tenants. So far the new management here at Creekside has replaced everything in the office & it looks nice but they’ve taken everything away from their renters & went up on rent!! They don’t care about your air not working in this heat. They don’t care that the pool is or isn’t open or if it’s properly maintained or cleaned on a regular basis. They’ve stopped spraying individual apartments for bugs/spiders/ants & this place is overrun with the latter. They fired everyone that worked here that would/could get things done & actually had the tenants in mind & not cussed at the tenants like sailors when there is a problem. I’ve never heard such language used before this office mgr came onsite. If Mr Murray was still around to hear what all is said & NOT done here now, he’d be ashamed he ever sold to these people. This is not the way he ran this place & these are nit the kind of people he employed. So, if you’re in for being treated like crap, come on down, they’ve got plenty of empty apartments & a lot more coming open soon. Everyone here is trying to move out. Here’s a shout out to Kelli, Pam, Alyce, Mike, Tracy, Bob, Lucky & the Bug guys, we miss you all something terrible. We never heard a bad word spoken about you or from you. You all were very well respected employees & knew how to treat people like you’re supposed too. Too bad you all weren’t around long enough after these people took over to learn from them.

hi! We are very sorry to hear about this experience and understand your disappointment. Please stop by to discuss your particular situation so this can be resolved. We strive to be professionals at all times and if this is not your experience i will be happy to discuss any and all of your concerns at your convenience.
We moved here in April of 2015 & at the time, Kelli, Pam & Alyce were in the office. They were great to work with. If you had a problem, it was taken care of immediately (ASAP). They were friendly & very helpful with us being new to the area. The rent has always been high but now it's outrageous. All of the staff are gone. All our security measures are gone. Even the gate is left open for just anyone to pass thru whenever. No bug spraying anymore. The pool may or may not be open, depending on the mindset of the office staff on a day to day basis. Some people have a/c problems or no a/c & they act like it's no big deal. No hurry to repair. People are getting ripped off on their deposits when they move out. These apartments are older, appliances are old, carpet is old, linoleum is really old. You can only clean it so much. It all needs replacing. The only thing that's been replaced is the office from floor to ceiling, furniture & all. They do nothing for the tenants! Do not move to this place! They are rude & impersonable to everyone. I'm sure if more people knew they could post on here, everyone would & it would all be negative. There's absolutely nothing to bring people here to live. I thought the idea was to make it appealing to others so they'd have more tenants. Their poor attitude towards people & everything they've taken away since March of 2018 when HURD bought the place is enough to deter good people from choosing to live here. They have more empty apartments than ever & more & more people are talking about moving out.

The apartments were recently sold March 1, 2018. My son moved out on Feb 28, 2018 and was unaware of the sale. Up until this time he loved living here. When he turned in the key, the previous manager told him she would be mailing his deposit and assured him that it was clean. After 2 months of telling him he would get his deposit, the new manager now claims that his apartment was dirty and he would not receive his deposit. I personally cleaned it and can tell you it was not dirty. The appliances are old and outdated and can only get just so clean. Not like they are brand new. When speaking to the new manager on multiple occasions, they refuse to even return part of the deposit. I would not recommend this complex to anyone. New management is rude and clearly wants to take advantage of people.
