Somerset is a suburban neighborhood about seven miles northeast of Downtown Columbus. Somerset is predominately residential, but there is a park, a grocery store, and a small shopping plaza with stores and restaurants in town. Conveniently, Somerset is just minutes away from several commercial hubs including Easton Town Center, a popular mall with a comedy club, concerts, and a Legoland Discovery Center. Commuters appreciate having easy access to major highways like Interstate 270 and 670 while the John Glenn Columbus International Airport is just two miles away, great for out-of-state travel. Similar to many areas in Ohio, renters are attracted to Somerset’s affordability. The neighborhood offers affordable to upscale houses, apartments, and townhomes for rent.

Property Ratings at CPN- Crosspoint Apartments
Been here a few years and the community is getting worse. Roaches are my breaking point and they don't seem to care about living conditions as they are treating the issue, but it's still not gone away. Multiple buildings are being treated for roaches currently
pros: The staff is always so nice. Trae is quick to help me with anything. The pool area is beautiful. Melissa and Trae are so friendly every time I go into the office. Cons: Sometimes the trash gets piled up on the weekends, only because a few residents don't know how to use the compactor the correct way. Now they are charging residents fees for not using it correctly, causing a trash pile up over the weekend.. As they should! No one wants to see that mess. I know maintenance works hard to keep this place clean. And we all want a clean place to live. Pro: They offer resident referrals up to $500 bucks. I recommend all my friends to live here.

Thanks for the great review! We're glad you're enjoying the pool and our staff, Trae and Melissa. We're on top of the trash situation and appreciate your understanding. Thanks for recommending us to your friends—it means a lot to us!
Trash pile up, crime increase with car breaking, no washer and dryer units, thin walls, poor communication from new management. I would not recommend this place.

Hi, we’re very sorry to read that you’re unhappy with your experience. Your feedback is what drives us to improve and given the chance, we’d like to look into the issues you’re experiencing. Please email us at dena@blueleafresidential.com our team would be happy to assist you.
Garbage piles up from the whole community almost every day. Policy changes are made without considering residents, usually just whatever is cheapest option. Communication from office is absolutely terrible. And 100% of their office staff can’t deescalate confrontation, just feed it. If you want to live in perpetual annoyance. Live here

Thank you for providing your feedback and letting us know about these issues, Mike. We set a high standard for ourselves and are truly sorry to hear that standard was not met in your interaction with us. We realize the new Spectrum package is not for everyone, and we do apologize for any inconvenience it may cause. Maintenance maintains the compactor Monday-Friday on the hour, and we have hired additional staff to look after it over the weekend. We realize this has been an issue in the past, but please know we are working diligently to get it corrected. Please get in touch with us on (614) 918-6718 and we'd be happy to sit down and discuss these issues in person. Respectfully, Crosspoint
Never waste your time and money to move to this place. I had to deal with molds keep growing every now and then. I'm about to move to a different place since we cannot wipe the wall every week just to prevent/stop molds from appearing
Other tenants take no care to clean up after themselves. This place is always littered with trash. I’ve witnessed people take all of the trash in their car, throw it on the ground and drive away. Management has made signs for people to throw their trash in the compactor but it doesn’t work. This apartment complex is anything but secluded and quiet. There is always loud music and people (usually drunk) yelling every night. The bags for pet waste were filled regularly when we first moved in, but now we’ve resorted to Kroger bags because they haven’t been filled in the past 3 or 4 months at least. People also use the dog waste bins for their own personal trash. Some dog owners I’ve noticed just don’t pick up after their pets at all. To say that this apartment complex is unorganized would be generous. Since moving in we’ve had multiple billing issues, all of which were their fault. They blame it on their system that processes the auto-payments. We’ve had other leasing issues from the moment we moved in. Speed bumps do nothing to deter people from racing through the parking lot. It’s dangerous. The people here park ridiculously close and have caused damage to our own cars a couple of times since moving in. Obviously nothing too extreme, but several dents and scratches. We’ve experienced one break in since moving in and honestly I’m shocked there hasn’t been a reoccurrence. This is not a place that I would feel safe if I were living alone. If you do decide to lease from this place, it should be because you have no other option. In my opinion, the cost of the apartments monthly are much more than they should be. They advertise them as “brand new” when they’re now a few years old. I would also make sure to walk through the apartment prior to signing the lease. They did not offer that to us at move in, and we were disappointed to find that they had only cleaned the carpets instead of replacing them as they should have because they showed significant wear. Rent from here only if you have no other place to go.
I have had a lot of issues with this apartment complex since I began living here however the change in the office staff has made things much better. I was dreading having to call the office with my most recent issue but Danielle was very pleasant to speak with and I'm glad you all made that happen. Keep that one around.
Our time here at Easton Pointe was great. The staff at the Leasing Office was always professional and ready to help. If we had any maintenance request, Max would always try to get it done ASAP. During our relocation to a different State, the staff was nothing but outstanding with helping us customize our lease term. I would recommend this place to anyone who looking for a nice quiet place to live.
I was one of the first people to move in back when Ardent was in charge. They switched to Ackermann and although there were a few bumps in the road at the beginning, management has seemed to work everything out. My 1BR was brand new when I moved in so everything has been in great shape with no maintenance issues. Any questions I had, management usually responded in a timely manner or gave me a time frame to work with. My only complaint would be that some residents don't seem to like cleaning up after their dogs even though the clean up stations are always filled with bags. Management has sent out several emails reminding residents to pick up but not everyone seems to listen so watch where you step! Another thing to point out is that not a lot of people regard the speed limit or stop signs. I've nearly had my car swiped multiple times by people speeding and have had some close calls while walking my dog. Be careful when walking in areas without a sidewalk. Aside from the above, I think this is a great place to live and the price is competitive especially given the location and how new the units are. Management is kind, workout facility is clean, and neighbors are friendly.
