The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

Property Ratings at Countryside Apartments
Apartments are generally fine, hot water is quick and reliable. There is a lack of amenities for how expensive the rent is. Washers and dryers are expensive and unreliable. I’m on the first floor and find it to be pretty quiet and my hallways are always clean. There is a problem with people not picking up after dogs. There are holes in the front lawn that I twisted my ankle in 4 times in just a few months. I told the manager about it and didn’t get a response. Packages get stolen from the mailroom regularly. Overall it’s not a bad place to live but you can’t expect too much out of it. I lived here from 2021-2023 and it was cheaper and a better deal. I moved back in 2025 and rent is too high for what you get (and don’t get). I wouldn’t come back again but it’s a decent transition place if you’re between housing.
I have lived in Countryside for about 2 years and I love my apartment. Management are quick to respond to me and maintenance have helped when I needed quick repairs. They are definitely remodeling the apartments inside and are true to the pictures on this website.
We recently moved out when we bought a house. I wanted to say we liked our apartment a lot - it was renovated right before we moved in. Although the hallways are old, the apartments inside are not! Its an older building - if you are looking for fancy, keep on looking but you'll be paying more for sure. Maintenance responds quickly and I get a text or email response from the office within a day or less. The one thing to consider is if you don't like dogs, then you may not be happy since its pet friendly and there are occasional accidents but most owners are responsible. Other than that, we liked it. Also, laundry in building was very convenient w/ an elevator.
We are in one of the new renovated units and I honestly don't know what they renovated. Has a major mouse problem. Every cabinet and closet door falls off the hinges daily. Have been injured several times because of this. Doors fall without warning or if the people above you stomp it will knock them down. They paint the tub with regular white paint before you move in which chips and clogs the drain daily. People leave trash in the hallways and the entrance ways and no one picks up after their dogs, so watch out for messes in the grass. The floor is uneven and some of the wood sticks up and snags/cuts you if you walk over it. Even though it is smoke free, people still smoke inside and the smoke comes in from the vents or if you have a window open. Sometimes they smoke in the hallway and it can come in from the cracks around the doors. You never get a response back from the managers. When you do the managers are very passive aggressive and rude. Had to keep asking for someone to come by to check for mice and to come fix one of the many issues we have. We started having issues 2 weeks after moving in - broken sink that flooded (again we are in a renovated unit). I have put in at least 10 maintenance requests and we only been here 5 months.
Walls are super thin. You can hear any and everything. Carpets look like they haven't been changed since 1980. There's a mice infestation problem in people's apartments, that they don't address properly or permanently from outside. The flooring is loud and creaky. Wish I wasn't stuck here much longer. Def going to move somewhere else!
I've been here years because I'm too lazy to move. New owners took over about 3 years ago and the place has gone down hill! Constantly trash in the hallways, in the parking lot and a mess all near the dumpsters. They charge you for water, trash, sewer. The renovations are lipstick on a pig. There is black mold everywhere. They just paint over it and make ya think they took care of it. Doing a tour? Ask to look at the area where the heat/ac unit is. They have a laundry room and it's been down to 1 washer working out of 4 the dryers work when they want and they charge you to use it on top of the outrageous rent prices

I've lived in this complex for a few months and so far I think it's a very quiet and friendly place. The laundry facilities are convenient and the pool is a great feature. I would recommend this complex to anyone who is looking for an affordable place to live and that likes to swim!
I lived in this place, and I agree with the negative review below. The nice old building should go to someone that will maintain it, not these people who only sometimes fix the appearance of the building, not the underlying problem . I agree that it smells bad and is hardly ever cleaned, the rugs in the hall are almost always filthy and the yard is almost all dead, the parking lot is falling apart and there’s always a pothole or two
Not well maintained. Court yard was a mess and there was a guy sitting on the steps with a bottle. Hallways run down and smell like cat urine. No impressed for the cost. Did not feel like a safe place to me
I've lived here for well over 10 years and I've never felt more at home than I do here. The Maintenance staff is so friendly and they've recently been doing renovations to a lot of different things around the complex. Neighbors are always friendly and helping one another whether it be a car needing some help in the parking lot or watching their kids. There's a nice park nearby that has a camp during the summer time. Gas station right across and a nice diner or two as well, along with a hair salon. Everyone stays quiet after around 9 pm which is fantastic. I wouldn't live anywhere else in my town but here.
First impress was not good. Run down carpet needing serious attention. However, the apartment itself was a surprise. Redone, renovated bathroom, two bathrooms and a large living area. Smallish kitchen, but workable. Plenty of closet space. Overall good value overall and located in a pretty good location for me.
