Property Ratings at Country Hollow Duplexes
Positives: The apartments are quite nice. They used to have ridiculous bridges all over the property for purely aesthetic purposes, but removed those, as they hindered disabled tenants. There are communal pools, tennis courts, laundry facilities on-site, and a small, but generally vacant gym area Negatives: The area is prone to crime. My car has been broken into or vandalized multiple times, in multiple locations across the property. It has resulted in nearly $1k worth of damage. All the management has had to say about it is "we're hiring another security guard". (This is their literal words). They only had one guard, to begin with, and no other security measures (fences, cameras, etc). Additionally, as of May of 2021, they have been remodeling the entire complex for several months. In addition to the constant noise of construction waking me up EVERY morning, we have had to accommodate several work crews with no more notice than "sometime between the dates of X/XX and X/XX" (Again, their literal phrasing). Which is in breach of California rental law. but I'm leaving, it's not worth the fight anymore. And just a personal gripe, some of the other tenants have been very rude, which makes for an unwelcoming living environment.
