The apartments well maintained, the staff well attentive, wonderful place

Would like to thank the entire team at Country Club Lakes. Melia was so quick and found the best apartment for me. Ashley, the leasing manager, constantly helped me and answered all my questions. Moving from up north made me nervous but the property is better than I thought. The staff kindness and friendliness makes me feel at home and will help accommodating to the new community and city. The location is also great.

Lives here for a very long time. Was promised an extended lease buy this manager. Later reneged on it when it came time to sign. There has been some deceit in the past; promised better appliances and carpet after a water line to the fridge broke and flooded out our old place a few years back (was due to the line being old). Instead, when it came time to move in, it was a place with old carpet and uncleaned bathtub and sink and old appliances. That was the fault of old management, but I guess it's a GoldOller thing because this one just went back on its promise. Also, watch out for some of the older positive reviews. Previous management had a contest a few years back that entered you into a drawing for a rent discount if you gave a good review. That might be why you see some good things about this place. I'd say, be alert when management says one thing, you'll likely end up with another.

Marina is the property manager and I adore her so much she made everything super easy. She replies back to emails,she is super polite and really cares for others. I renewed my lease SIMPLY because of her i love the community it is quiet and clean. Their is a school across the street so it’s very kid friendly. I recommend

I’ve been a tenant for 2 years and thought about renewing my lease until the new tenants moved in above me. No issues the first 2 years living here because the upstairs only allowed carpeting then all of a sudden I hear Godzilla stomping above our unit and it’s not walking…it’s like they are trying to kill cockroaches and there’s yelling at 10pm. If you decide to move here make sure you don’t pick the bottom unit and if you chose the upper unit please be respectful for the tentants below listening to your every move.

They will try to suck your bank account dry when you move out. Endless charges and fees. Beware.

The area and apartments are nice and well kept for the price. Maintenance staff super responsive, had problems with some light fixtures and AC and they were at the apartment within the hour and had all problems solved in a day.

We have lived here for 13 years and are in the process of renewing for another year. Grounds well kept and neat. As in any place you do at times have problems. BUT...the maintenance staff is very capable and quick to correct, which is important. We had a AC problem late one evening and called it in. Their technician was here within 20 minutes and found the problem was more than he could handle. He then installed window units so we had AC for the evening and the first thing the next morning they had someone here to make permanent repairs. The property is quiet and friendly.

Maintenance requests are not done yet are completed. And they are downgrading all the bathrooms to cheap round toilets, instead of the existing elongated ones that work fine. When you complain, if you can even get in contact with anyone, nothing is done, and you are given excuses.

I lived in Country Club Lakes for 3 years. The management team, especially Ms. Townsend, was exceptionally helpful. Ms. Townsend went above the call of duty during my time in Jacksonville and made sure my living experience was comfortable and my move was smooth when I had to leave. The location of the complex is perfect for a quick trip to the beach each day!

First of all I would like to say I have never had such a smooth transition into an apartment complex. Country Club Lakes staff went above and beyond to make my process of finding a new home and moving in amazing. They were very consistent with replies and notifying me with and additional steps I needed to take. They communicate and respond fast. They helped me find a perfect home within my budget and processed everything so my move in day was fast. As for move in day, when I moved in my apartment was beautiful. It was cleaned to a pristine condition. The apartment home smelled beautiful due to the carpets being professionally cleaned. The complex had all of the spacious home cleaned and detailed down to every little nook and cranny. I was speechless. The home is a nice open floor plan that feels huge. All the rooms included beautiful ceiling fans with bright lights and brand new carpets. The patio was spotless and screened it. The staff had also left a hand written letter for welcoming me into my new home and the left a cute little bag of new home gifts. The fridge also had some cute welcoming items. All in all I felt at home the second I walked in. Since moving in, every thing I’ve needed assistance with in the apartment has been handled accordingly and fast. They also offer some amazing amenities I have been able to check out and enjoy. I’m an incredibly happy with my new home. Also the staff I worked with was Aneisha & Caryl, they were amazing!

My son and I returned to Country Club Lakes last year and still love it. Safe neighborhood with great amenities. Office manager Caryl runs a great team.! Maintenance is always outstanding with work requests. All my request were addressed same day. Location is perfect. Close to the beach with many retail shops and restaurants just a few minutes away! Apt 701

Lived here for over 2 yrs and have had 2 pipes break in the walls, both shower manifolds replaced, and fought for 3 months to get the undersized and 20yr old A/C unit replaced because my apartment wouldn't get below 78 degrees, running 24/7. I submitted two requests that still, to this day, haven't been completed, despite the staff closing them as completed. One was for new blinds in the living room, one of the blades broke in half when I barely touched it with one finger. The other request was to have them look at the black mold growing through the paint in a corner of the ceiling, likely because of a roof leak. Last, the manager is great however, most of her office staff is horrible, just down right lazy, lazy, lazy.

Moved to Country Club Lakes last year and absolutely love it here! The staff is very friendly and always helpful, the neighborhood is in a great location with lots close by, and the apartments are fantastic! Very happy living here and glad I moved here!

The staff usually has an attitude. Throughout our stay there I would request for work orders to be put in and often times it was never done. Theey just place player over the walls to cover holes, but that's not good enough bc they have a serious bug problem and it just makes it easier to get in your home. They also prevented me from finding a new place in a timely manner and went up on my rent tremendously. I left that apartment in really good condition yet they charged me $288 mostly for removal of dog smells ... I payed $350 pet deposit and pet rent and they said it didn't cover dog smells just for having the privilege of the dog in the apartment.

I love this luxury apt staff respond fast , all comun areas always clean no relax and clam neighborhood , awesome management , I'm happy move back to Jacksonville from New York

Lived there for 3yrs and the staff was amazing! They were very attentive to questions. An overall positive experience. The maintenance team was pretty awesome, too. Fastest turn around time was in a day for things to be looked at. Pretty quiet area as well. Parking is a premium around the apartment area, I'd have to say. Other than that, I referred two of my coworkers there and they said that they liked it there. Give this apartment complex a shot and you wont disappointed.

We are just starting out and moving to our new apartment has been wonderful! Community, location, and our new home makes everything wonderful!!!

I've lived in Country Club Lakes apartments, for 13 years. Sound pitiful? Well, it's not. I raised my son here , along with two cats, in peace and safety. The lake our apartment faces is beautiful, like a sanctuary with all the wild birds and plant life. The apartment staff is top notch. All of them are genuinely nice. Sure, over the years there have been ups and downs with some staff members, but currently the balance is perfect. They greet me personally, offer me assistance with my faxing and copying needs, and overall general reinforcement. The maintenance staff is exceptional as well. They respond very quickly, and are very thorough with their work. Sadly, though, the rent has increased to such an extent that I probably will no longer be able to afford to live here after my current lease. My son has moved on his own, and the current economy and job market has caused me great financial strife and struggle (I am currently unemployed and struggling to survive by selling on ebay and amazon). Still, living here for so many years, I will always consider this my home, even if I never owned it.

The moment you pull into CCL you're greeted with nothing but smiles. From the residents walking their pets to the colorful landscaping & amenities. It may be a large apartment community, however it has the feel of a large yet tight knit neighborhood. The leasing office is beyond accommodating & extremely friendly. Their maintenance team seems to prioritize very well, and everything is done in a timely fashion. I don't plan on leaving anytime soon, I would highly recommend this community to anyone!

I have called CCL home for 2 years (going on 3) now and I couldn't ask for more in an apartment complex. The leasing office staff is more than friendly, and always have prompt answers to any questions or concerns you have. The complex itself is very pretty and they constantly work to maintain it. It's a fantastic location, close to the beach and easy access to downtown, shopping areas, etc. While I do wish I had a bit more space/upgrades for the price we pay, it really is worth it. I do only have a couple small complaints that keep me from giving the complex 5 stars. I wish there were cheaper wood/laminate floor options because I feel like the carpet they use is kind of cheap/easy to look dirty, and neighbors can be a bit strange sometimes and leave dogs off their leashes. Besides these two very minor things, it is really a fantastic place to live. We will be moving out of state after our lease is up most likely, and I'll be sad when we have to leave this apartment for sure.
